  I use a transducer of pressure with a maximum flow of 100mV. I connected this pressure for an SCB-68 transducer that is connected to a PXI-6289. The transducer is connected in differential mode (ai0 & ai8). I'm supposed to measure a constant balance no when I turn on the transducer (10V DC) without differential pressure applied to the transducer output from - 5 mV to 5mV.

  The problem is:

  I measure a zero balance output, but the value continues to decline (even after 50 minutes). If out of balance zero is negative, the value decreases yet (he does not lean towards 0).

  If I connect two transducers on different channels, zero out of balance (which is not the same thing, according to the serial number of the transducer) will decrease at the same rate.

  What I tried:

  I tried another power supply

  I tried to measure CSR and NRSE

  I tried with another station of PXI
  I tried with BNC-2090
  I tried with the PXI-6224

  I tried with other sensors of serial number (3 different with all the same problem)

  I tried with other cables

  I tried to measure in a different location using a different power source

  I tried to reduce drastically (from 10 k to 1 sample per second), the sampling rate

  ALL these failed to solve the problem.

  I have contacted my provider of transducer. He has guaranteed that these sensors should keep their zero balance production constant for 4 years. Also, the fact that the rate of decline is almost the same thing when I connect different transducer would point to one reason other then the sensor itself.

  Here is an example of a test (about 35 minutes). The tension is out of balance zero. Unknown event caused a rapid fall in the beginning.

  Partitioning can be used as part of this strategy. Partition by MONTH or by QUARTER on your
  new column "DATE_NETTED_OUT." Keep 1 or 2 years of data online as you do now and when a partition

  management, which I mentioned earlier. You can simply disconnect the oldest partition and copy it to archive.
  This will not affect your applications other than the data not being is not available.

  It is premature to consider alternatives until you know what the problems are. Only then you can try to

  1. upgrading to a newer version of Oracle you are on an older (you said 9i which is not
  longer supported)

  2 assess the health and configuration of your instance. You may be able to significantly improve things
  by adjusting the parameters of configuration and instance. Post a new question, as previously mentioned. I don't
  have the expertise to advise you in details on that and the gurus tuning of the Forum the Forum can
  not to notice this thread (indexes on columns with only 'Y' and 'n') than even know you need help.

  3. identify the ripe fruits for performance problems. Is this one of your batch process? An individual
  request? You mentioned UI soon - that could be a problem of front end, middle tier or application
  not a database one.

  4. don't it make changes architecture (add columns) until you have tried everything first.

  I tried to develop a code which can data histogram on the order of 1 000 data per second.  It's pretty simple to use the histogram function to display a histogram that looks like he treats all data. • Problem with calendar

  Hello everyone. I'm looking for help with a synchronization problem that I run in to in one of my largest voluntary initiatives. The situation is essentially this: the VI has 3 simultaneously earrings excecuting anytime.

  One of these loops manages the UI, update of things as the text in a text box, the level of filling of a barrier bar etc things based on what the user actually. It also controls the display of a countdown clock, I built in my program (it turns green a text box and displays a numeric variable controlled by my third loop as a text value). There is a wait function in this loop that ensures it excecutes no more than one time every 20 milliseconds.

  The second loop retains certain properties of the front panel and change them if necessary. This has a low priority and has a function of waiting for 750 milliseconds to prevent it to run too often and slow down execution.

  The third is by far the most important. It is the main part of the program, and the problem occurs in this third loop. He crosses his execution for his first test (a 50 second run collection location mouse and some other variables), he then between what is supposed to be a 10-second pause. The break is divided into 2 sections, a lasting 5 seconds in which most of the values on the screen are locked in place and not much can change, and the other also 5 seconds, which writes a value into another computer via a LAN, I have set up, and then starts the countdown to the first loop to count down from 5.

  The problem occurs in the interval between registration on the local network and start the countdown.   One of the characteristics of the structure of the sequence is that everything inside a frame must complete execution before the next frame can begin.  So if your writing on a file hangs up due to problems of communication and operating system, your program will be stuck there until the end of writing the file.

  Parallel loops can reduce this type of problem by allowing file operations to take as much time they need without limiting the timing of the other loop (within the limit of the amount of data you can put in the buffer in one or two loops).

  Sequence structures severely restrict your flexibility.  Best practices in BT generally avoid their use.  A state machine is often a better choice.
