Wiped blackBerry smartphones

I have a 9860 which was accidentally erased and who have no backup to restore, is there a website out there I can down load 7.0 on my computer or directly on the phone.

Thank you

I'm here in San Felipe Mex, and one of the dealers the Telcel offered to ship the phone to Mexicali to the main center of Telcel and having the reprogrammed phone. I'll keep these responses to my post just in case it does not work.

Thank you very much for your time and effort to come to my rescue, all the best to everyone in the new year.

Thank you

Robert.

    Hi all

I just had all my calendar items in Outlook dashed after a sync with my Blackberry 9530. It is the second time in the last 2 months that it happened. I received an Intellisync 0x80040fb3 error code.

Calendar items are still on my BBY, but I can't seem to synchronize in Outlook. I have changed the direction of the synchronization in Intellisync for two-way synchronization of one-way synchronization from the device to Outlook and it still does not work. One weird thing is the following: Intellisync, I the date range of the calendar is set to transfer the elements that fall between 180 days before today and 7000 days after today. Dates in my vision of the oldest 180 days are still there. I don't want to get all of these calendar by hand once again, as I did about 2 months ago.

Hate to say it, but with errors 0 x 800, it leads to a problem with the unit. We look at the calendar is corrupt. Normally to take care of this error a few things should be done. You can try advanced logging, but I really needed to guide you through how to read the newspaper. Perhaps what has happened is an update has taken place, and you're probably with Verizon. Well during the update that it corrupted the database calendar and when synchronize you it corrupted the Outlook database.
    First step, newspaper KB01451 advnace

Second step is to backup to KB23680

third, you need to do a wipe of security KB14058

Fifth would be a selective restore at all, but the Calendar database.

  • Updated my BB just wiped blackBerry Smartphones software

Rather frustrating, I just ran the update software for my Blackberry Curve 8900, which completely has the mark of my phone and erased everything. Now all I have is a menu with a list of my applications and options (which she won't let me use) "Blackberry Software 5.0. (something?). 31 "(ou quelque chose de similaire à cela) at the top." I tried to restore my device with no luck. Any ideas of how I can reverse this trend?

Sorry guys - I just wanted to say my network provider (vodafoneUK) of brand has been cleared. I had a list of options, but when I click on an error message came up with letters and numbers, saying that he was not coming.

I've sorted the problem now. I just re - load v5.0.0.411 and then used the blackberry Desktop Manager to restore my messages and contacts, and applications

  • Help of blackBerry Smartphones that apps on my Blackberry Curve 9360 were gone after complete wiping!

I'm wiping yesterday and when I checked on my "device" option, the "battery" option was missing, where I can choose the level of my light screen. Another thing, it is that my 'analysis of the BB device' were like a stethoscope icon, but after you wipe, the icon changed into a black rectangle with a question in the middle of the matk. Whence this 'battery' device option missing? How do I get him back? If it cannot, how should I do if I want to put my light svcreen level? And I can delete this now rare device monitor 'BB' since I can't find the button Delete like other apps? HELPPPPPP! Thanks a lot for the answers!

    Hello!

Based on your description, I would recommend a full reload of the operating system. The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

Note that all the apps add-on indeed went from the device... a WIPE is very obedient and removes the add-on apps. Reference:

I am a first time user, so I have a lot of questions on this BB curve. I bought a second hand curve and I have no idea how to set this phone (only bought the model, it has no manual and accessories). Here are my questions and thanks in advance to those who can answer:

    1. my IP address is 0.0.0.0 - I can connect to the WiFi network but I can't browse the web

2 if I have the program installation/create a bb here id, can I use it on my handheld?

    3. what an erasure of memory wipe exactly and an erasure of memory affect my id card/BBM SIM as well?

    Hi Alex121289

Welcome aboard BlackBerry family and community

First I would like to that you visit BlackBerry 101 and manual BlackBerry Curve - manuals and Guides for getting started

Secondly if you have purchased a device used by one of your friend or any store online then it is always advice to do a security wipe to remove any objects associated with the previous user. You can see this help Article:

KB28225 : BlackBerry Smartphone must be wiped before transferring the security property

    With regard to your questions:

1 carrier little need short data even plan to navigate the Internet, even via wifi. So aske your operator if you need some sort of data plan to your account

4: you can create a new BlackBerry ID on the site Web de BlackBerry ID that you can use on your device, see this KB:

KB24062 : How to create a BlackBerry ID

    3. If you do a security wipe on your device it will remove all the installed user application, e-mail accounts so that your card memory if you insert memory card while doing a security wipe. Yes, it will remove the BlackBerry ID that is already associated with this device, after a wipe, you can use a new BlackBerry ID or even that you use before, but a security wipe has nothing to do with your SIM card.

However... With your query 1"not able to navigate on the internet". Like you bought this device in some cases if your device has a COMPUTER policy then IT can prevent browser so my suggestion... Rather than to do a security wipe you reset your device to factory setting, this will remove all political and helps solve your problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry World is not available in your country

I bought a 'new' curve 9300 on ebay.  When I try to access Blackberry World, he comes back with the message that it is not currently available in your country.  But I'm in the United Kingdom and the phone's GPS must be tell what.  Are there settings in the phone that needs to change or should I return it to the seller?   I tried to look through the menu options and searched the Internet without success.

    1. read this:

BlackBerry Smartphone must be wiped before Security transfer of property

    2. don't you know that this device was working before? Or the seller sells you a device that he had the same problem with?

    3. do you have a SIM card in the device, and installation of the unit, do you have your BBID and your country, etc.. ?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not open the eyebrows of internet

I ca not open internet or the accsess my Id eyebrows, always have an massage as my eyebrows is bloked

can not set up my new email or ID

Hello and welcome to the community!

Since little information, we unfortunately have to make assumptions... the content accurate and full of error messages is always more useful than a short short description.

So here's my proposal? Is there a COMPUTER policy on your device?

    • Article ID: KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

Is there and you're on BES, then stop now and go talk to your BES admins... they control everything.

If there is and you are not on BES, then you need to clean your unit of the it policy:

    • Article ID: KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

Be very attentive to provided warnings, particularly the fact that your device will be wiped clean in the process. You can find adequate instructions to backup via the link in my sig auto on this post. But, when you restore, do not full restore... restore instead, only those databases you requested (e.g., calendar, contacts, etc.) and more precisely to avoid restore and data bases that have nothing to do with politics, COMPUTING, business, or anything similar. If you restore the databases, the it policy will be conscientiously restored to your device, and you will be right back where you started.

If there is no COMPUTER policy, contact your mobile provider for formal support.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot lock the phone through blackberry ID

    Hello

I take a phone of my coleague who has left the company. For some reason, I can't able to connect on the phone. Firstly I didn't at first, the password of my coleague ex, I went online and changed the password. However, when I want to connect with my new password to unlock the phone, I have this message:

"You have exceeded the number of attempts to connect.

For security reasons, you have been locked for 15 minutes. "Click on forgotten password if you need create a new password.

But after 15 minutes and try again, the message... helpppp

You try the BlackBerryID, or the security password, on the device?

It looks like the BlackBerryID if you are locked out for 15 minutes.

A wrong entered security password would give you only a message something like «wrong password 2/10»

Then, to change the BBID of this device and make it 'your own' device, you'll need to do a wipe of the device security. This will delete all the data in personal, contacts, calendar, etc. and restore the State of the plant basically.

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

You receive a red X when trying to send messages BBM all BB 10 users?

If you are then try to remove and reinstall BlackBerry Messenger from your device which helped a few users with the same question, to do that on your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and remove BlackBerry Messenger from there. I'm at my wits end with my Blackberry Torch 9810.  I have very little text messages in my Inbox, I lost the lot for some reason my phone has decided to change some date & in the future and trying to resolve that, in my opinion, I wiped everything, do not know what I did a few weeks ago, but they disappeared.

Now I get notifications that my SMS Inbox is full and I need to delete messages.  Can someone help me I have a lot of messages on the handset and cannot believe it is complete unless there is an option I need to select/deselect.  The user guide is useless.

I changed a parameter in the past as text messages seem to be endangered if they were in a month or so old, but all that I did I can't and don't know how to handle all my text messages myself.  My old iphone allowed me to keep the text as long messages I wanted with what appeared to be a very large storage area, now I just want to throw this thing in the bin.  Unfortunately I have 18 months remaining on my contract (business) so I can do nothing about it.

OK, not a lot of people very little. It is in memory of the device, but you are some of the SIM card, save too much.
