Wired Ethernet controller driver

My apologies if you have addressed this issue.  I was unable to find a solution.

Laptop bought a year ago.  Installed Windows 7 Pro 64 bit in Feb. ; downloaded and installed several needed drivers.  Everything worked well.  Last week got us an infection from malicious software and need to format and reinstall the os above.  Once again, need to install several drivers as before.  This time the (wired) Ethernet controller needs a driver.  Can you help us find the pilot, that we need?  (I searched, and google says it is a RealTek product, but I can't find a driver on the Web from Realtek site)

Thank you very much!

My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv7t Entertainment PC

Ethernet Controller hardware ID: PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8168 & SUBSYS_165B103C & REV_06

Hello

Try to download and install the following Realtek LAN driver.

Whenever I connect the Ethernet cable in the network settings, it says 'Unidentified network' "no internet access. And there is no update driver for Windows 10 on hp.com is a solution for this problem? Help, please.

    Hi Mrstenter,

The link (atheros.cz) you provided has the same problem. However, I found solutionon the below mentioned link. He was the pilot I needed and it worked! No both my cable and internet connections don't work.

SOLUTION: Downloaded the driverscape.com driver, double-click to open, double-click on the appliction of installation file, select the option repair the installation, and then follow the prompts. Restart the computer after installation. Mine worked.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi, I've just updated my computer laptop satellite l20 for win XP Pro. I downloaded and installed all the drivers on the Toshiba site, utility chip etc, but I have a problem with the ethernet controller driver. It is recognized by windows, but it says there is a problem (yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager) and cannot install the driver. Hello

First of all it is important that you install all the drivers of Toshiba in the right order.
Did you follow the installation instructions that are placed on the driver download page?

Ethernet controller need a good driver WLan or / and a LAN driver.
I checked the info on this device and it seems that this device has been delivered with different hardware configurations. (wireless network card intel and Atheros wireless network adapter)

Well, if you don't know what card is installed on your device, you can try to install the two wlan drivers. There are artworks. Don t forget to also install the Realtek LAN driver

  • Missing ethernet controller driver after reinstalling XP on 775th Pavilion

    Here's the problem (short version):

I reinstalled XP Home 32-bit (clean install) on my old 775th CTO Office.  Now, I can't get online.  The problem seems to be that there is no installed ethernet controller driver.

There are audio and video drivers listed, but none in the driver downloads section for my PC model (HP Pavilion 775th CTO D7218X) ethernet.  I downloaded the drivers anyway, but no change.  According to my MoBo features, it says that the ethernet/LAN supplier is Realtek 8201 BL.  I can't seem to find this download anywhere.

    Additional info (long version):

When I went to 'launch' my old rig, I got a message saying that he had "no OS installed/no bootdrive" detected (or something similar).  So I found another old IDE disk and a clean installed XP Home.  I try to use the HP provided with my system recovery disks because I didn't want the drivers for my ATI AIW card are on my system AT ALL until I was ready to reinstall the card (now the sys using the integrated graphics card).   I didn't know if you can choose which components of the recovery system reinstall, so I went with a clean installation of the operating system.

So the problem could be fixed if I could download the driver for Realtek 8201BL?  Or is everything related to the fact that I don't have to use the recovery discs?

Thanks for looking and I appreciate any help anyone can give me!

    Hello:

The secret to install the network on this model driver is to install the nForce chipset driver 2.

The problem is that this driver is very difficult to find anywhere more.

Fortunately, I have an NForce 2 chipset driver file that you can download on my Skydrive folder on the link below.

Download and install the NForce 5.10 my library file.

  • Missing ethernet controller driver of conclusion

    Hello

I have a question on a PC, I'm trying to suckle along at home. In 2011, I have challenged to grow me and learn and installed a version of Linux on it. However, the only thing I've learned is that Linux was more than one as its members learning curve one would believe. I was never completely satisfied with the results. In 2012, I decided to stick to my strengths, which is my experience and understanding of Windows, so I'll try to get back Windows XP SP2 on it.

I installed the operating system very well, but I'll get in trouble for all the drivers in place. In particular, I do not have a driver of Ethernet controller, and it is difficult to do so sincerely it is useful these days without connection to the internet.

I have downloaded and run DriverUpdate (http://driverupdate.net/articles/windows-xp-drivers), but apparently, an internet connection is necessary before you can determine what drivers need to be updated.

The PC is an older model bridge of 2003 or close (BIOS copyright data when I start), so I tried to download a bunch of drivers on the website of the bridge (http://support.gateway.com/product/?cmpid=topnav). XP would not accept one of them as an update the Ethernet controller driver.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a serial number for the PC and a Windows XP registration code, so who could help me find a place to watch.

    Thank you

    John Todd

What is the correct driver based on your computer model? The one you were looking for on the Web site of the bridge.
