Wireless connection drops after 10-20 seconds on Acer Aspire V3-572 - 56T 3 running Windows 8.1

I have big problems with the network connection Wireless at the office. He sees the network, allows me to enter security credentials, then connects (with connectivity internet confirmed) but gave up after 10-20 seconds. I tried the wireless network to a friend who worked ok without interruption, is certainly nothing wrong with the hardware. I use a brand new Acer Aspire V3 - 572 - T 56, 3 on Windows 8.1, with all the latest drivers/patches loaded and tried to juggle with many advanced settings for the card of network without success. I connected the router to make sure that all the settings, encryption standards, channels etc was corresponding, but the problem is persistent. It has been going on for two days now and is driving me crazy because I really need to work in the office with wifi band. Plug an ethernet cable directly into the router works fine, but it is not the ideal solution (and poses a danger OH & S that he throws on the ground). Can someone help pleeeease!

FYI, I ran diagnosis several times & the only thing that stands out was the following:

Diagnostic information (wireless connectivity)
The Association status: 0 x 00038002 failure
Association reason code: 0x00000002

Result of diagnosis: problem found

    Hello

I recently bought a new Toshiba Satellite C660-195.
However, I have problems with the wireless connection. When I bought the laptop, it was full of all the annoying and resource hungry programs Toshiba install there. I have reinstalled Windows on the laptop, just install the drivers and software, I wanted and needed. I have problems with the wireless to stay connected. I can detect wireless networks and connect to that I want to be on, I have to add is a connection at home (I'm not fly: P).

However, the continuous wireless connection down, becoming 'limited' as it says in system tray icon but then turns back on and the process just keeps spiraling on, on and off.

The wireless I connect works quite well using Xbox consoles, at first I thought it might be the router but after that a second thought if found the wireless on the Xbox is fine then I surely can't be the case? The laptop is Windows 7 64 bit

  • Wireless connection disappeared after pressing the button system Orange Cisco router WRT54G

Trying to connect to a printer Dell wirless to the router and has failed, after many tests to get the computer to recognize the printer as a wireless device.  Recommended by Dell to refresh the router and I pressed the button in the above subject line.

Now, none of my computers display the connection wireless as available. I have reset the time many cable modem and the router and him that restarted the computer and they still will not recognize the wireless connection.

Also, I tried to use the default IP 192.168.1.1 to review my settings for the router (running a laptop directly via the cable modem), but the address keeps timing.

What is someone out there knows what can happen to connect wireless to disappear?  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Don

Your wireless network is gone because you press the WPS button on the front.  Never do this because you don't have the hardware to support it.  Change the SSID and password.

Press and hold the reset on the back for 30 seconds and then release.  Wait 10 seconds and cycle power to the router.  To connect to a computer wired to the router at 192.168.1.1 only empty password, username "admin".   Now configure the router manually.

  • Re: Satellite Pro A300-1EA - wireless connection, drop all the time

Hi, I have a problem with my wireless connection fall all the time on my Satellite Pro A300 1EA.

It happened earlier, but I've fiddled about a little with change of drivers and the removal of the connection settings for the registry and it then worked fine for months, until yesterday.

There were several updates for Windows installed yesterday, but none of them have been updated driver for the wireless card, and they don't look like they should cause problems. The fact that the problem happened before makes me think that the updates can be anything to do with it.

I use the * Intel PRO/Wireless 3945/4965/5100/5300 * for Vista 32 - bit version 12.2.0.11.3 drivers from the Toshiba download page.

Other computers on the same access point have no problem, so I think it is specific to this laptop. The connection speed is normally 6 Mbps, but I cannot even check e-mail now without the abandonment of the connection.

Laptop will be thrown against a wall soon if no one can help you.

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: I've already made sure power settings are at maximum to the WLAN card, even if on battery, or what power management.

    Hello

Have you tried to use the Windows System Restore feature? After that your WLAN should work fine again.

In addition, I can recommend the latest WLAN driver in the Intel page, it s version 12.4.xxxx. I installed the driver on my Qosmio laptop and don t have any problems with it: [www.intel.com].

  • Vista SP2 wireless connection drops

People, I know this question has been asked before, but I can't find a solution to my problem.  I've had my Dell laptop for about 6 months now and it worked perfectly, without any problem wireless connection.  On Sunday, August 9, I installed Vista SP2.  It updated no problem at all, but once he did his final reboot, it connected to my wireless router for about 5 minutes, then dropped connection.  Now, when you restart it only connects for a minute or two wireless then abandons connection.  I then uninstalled SP2 but it has not solved the problem with wireless.  My wireless adapter is an Atheros AR5007 and drivers are all up to date.

Anyone know how I can fix this so that my wireless signal stay tuned as he used to pre SP2?
    Thank you.

    Hi KK_14,

Thank you for visiting Windows Vista Microsoft answers forum.

Fixing the problems of common networking in Vista:

To reset the stack TCP/IP go to this article and either click on "Fix it for me" or follow the instructions to fix it yourself:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357

    Disable the IP helpdesk:

1 hold the Windows key and type R, type "services.msc" (without the quotes) and press enter

    2. scroll down to the IP assistance service, right-click on it and select Properties

    3. in the drop-down list box that says "Automatic" or "Manual", set it to disabled and then click 'apply '.

    4. then click on "Stop" to stop the service from running in the current session

    5. click on OK to exit the dialog box

    Disable IPv6:

Try to uninstall IPv6 on all interfaces, the removal of virtual cards of IPv6 and reset the TCP/IP stack. To remove the IPv6, go to the properties for each network adapter, and deselect the check box next to the Protocol "Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6), which will turn off, or select it and click on uninstall, which withdraw power off the computer.» Then go into Device Manager and remove any 4to6 adapters, adapters miniport WUN or tunnel adapters.

NOTE: You should do this for each network connection.

    Disable the DHCP Broadcast Flag:

    Link: http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/KB/928233

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/322756/ (how to back up and restore the registry in Windows)

Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or some non-Microsoft DHCP servers

To resolve this issue, disable the DHCP BROADCAST flag in Windows Vista. To do this, follow these steps:

Click Start, type regedit in the search box, and then click regedit in the list programs.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

Locate and then click the following registry subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\ {GUID}

This registry path, click the (GUID) subkey that corresponds to the card network that is connected to the network.

On the Edit menu, point to new, and then click DWORD (32-bit) value.

In the new area #1, type DhcpConnEnableBcastFlagToggle and press ENTER.

Right-click DhcpConnEnableBcastFlagToggle, then click on modify.

In the value data box, type 1 and then click OK.

    Close the registry editor.

By setting this registry key to 1, Windows Vista's trying to get an IP address using the BROADCAST flag in DHCP Discover packets. If that fails, he will try to obtain an IP address without using the BROADCAST flag in DHCP Discover packets.

Please let us know if it helps.

    Thank you and best regards,
    David

  • Wireless connection lost after update

Last night I downloaded and installed the February Patch Tuesday updates from Microsoft on my WinXP netbook. When I rebooted the computer, wouldn't my wireless connection. My other computer of Windows XP (not yet updated) worked very well. I did a restore of the system on the netbook for just before the updates, and now my Internet is back. No idea of what happened and what I should do next? I would like to install the security updates... Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion, Halima. I don't even think to look here so far, as I never received an email informing me that I had a response. What I ended up doing after the restoration of the system is to reinstall two updates at once. And this time everything went well. I still have no idea why I lost my wireless connection, first.

    Hello

    I'm having the following problem:

Sometimes the WiFi on my P850 138 will drop and the symbol beside the clock network connection displays an exclamation point.
To solve the problem, I have to open my wireless network connection and disconnect and reconnect to my router manually.

My P850 138 is connected to the internet via a connection from WPA2-PSK with a BT Home Hub 3.
Note: The connection to the router is actually not lost, just connect to the internet.
Also, the router remains connected to the internet.

I would really appreciate some advice.

    Thanks in advance!

    > In order to solve the problem, I have to open my wireless network connection and disconnect and reconnect to my router manually.

From my point of view this is not question of portable but a router problem.
Have you tried to connect the laptop to another wifi hotspot in your area to test the feature?
    Recommend doing this

In addition, you can also check if there is updated firmware for Wlan hub.

  • has wireless connection dropped

The connection to my wireless continues to decline. The resolution is always "function wireless.... He works for a few minutes and falls again. I have another laptop running side by side... so it can't be my modem or router... this laptop works very well... XP... AND I already turned this laptop for Lenovo as a replacement for the wireless card. My conclusion is that it is Vista... very frustrating...

    Hello

Your router could be suspicious here, you have successfully updated its firmware as a possible solution? And I would like to
Update your WiFi drivers on computers. How you are positioned in the router? Are there
obstacles in the path? With the help of WPA/WPA2 security? Move the laptop XP away from each other or
turn off the WiFi and see what happens - there could be interference if they are very close.

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

Download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click – RUN AS ADMIN.

You can download several at once however restart after the installation of each of them.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The
manufacturer of system become your backup policies).

Repeat for network (NIC) card and is a good time to get the other updated drivers as Vista like
    updated drivers.

I would also turn off auto update for the drivers. If the updates Windows suggests a just HIDE as they
are almost always old, and you can search drivers manually as needed.

Make sure you know the details of connection to your wireless router - SSID and password.

You lose connection when you do and have to redo your logon.

Control Panel - Network & Sharing Center - right, click Customize - page set of network locations.
lower left click on merge or delete network locations - REMOVE all instances of your network (and the

  • WAP371 connection drops after 24 hours

I recently started to test a WAP371 with the work of firmware 1.0.1.5 of a to POE injector. I'm having a problem with a Sony Vaio laptop that uses a double Strip map 7620N Intel that seems to work correctly 24 hours then starts to lose connection every few minutes.

The journal of the WAP371 begins to show the following message:

  • Wireless connection drops and reconnects to the games only?

I have an Asus ea - No. 66, WIndows 7 64 bit, whenever I connect to a game, being especially csGO. I lose the connection and gain back almost instantly.  I'm not connected to the game or anything else. Then everything comes back online. I was wondering, which could materialize this project?

    Hi boozal,.

Thanks for posting that query you in Microsoft Communities. Provide the following information:

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode with networking, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 3 from the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 3: Follow the steps in the article.

    Hello

New on site, but you have a very annoying problem, here go us
I just got a 2nd hand laptop Toshiba Satellite S1800-402 and has decided to add this to my setup wireless at home (big mistake), anyway I have a router wireless 802. 11 b of mentor and my main pc connected to the router and another pc which has a mentor 802 wireless pci card. 11B. Pcmcia card from the laptop is a mentor 802.11 g card is compatiable back, so I was told by bloke in-store pc.

Just the problem I have is the pc successfully connect to internet the laptop will be fine OK, but 99% of the time I would say 5 minutes max before losing the connection and only way to get the rear connection is either reboot the laptop, or remove the pcmcia card and hope that it detects the wireless again. the wireless network is not secure on it and checked on the router page and there is no filtering or configure... I have Digital wireless home phones that I unplugged and get always the same problem.

Would be - what this model has received a wireless card already and there is a conflict.

It becomes a default really annoying that I head in fact.

Any help would be greatly appreciated no matter what other requried info I will try to help

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

As much as I know this model doesn't have a WiFi card and this kind of conflict is not possible. In my opinion connection breaks are caused by software settings or false. If you make a permanent download happens the same thing?

Try to check the power consumption of your network card WIRELESS and also Idle timeout option in the router.
