Wireless connection for Photosmart B109-a

I had my Photosmart B109-has more of a year and have been using a USB connection, but I try to reconfigure it to a wireless setup. I tried the installation programs that were already installed as well as the original CD and downloading from the website - none have a wireless option. I begin to doubt whether this printer even wireless, but if someone has an answer, it would be greatly appreciated.

Printer: HP Photosmart B109 - has

Computer: Mac OS x Snow Leopard

Internet speed via a wireless router.

Thank you!

I can not connect my Photosmart HP 5510 to the wireless network. It detects the wireless network, trying to connect, and then gives that the MAC address filtering message can be activated on your wireless router that can prevent your HP printer to connect. I don't know what to do, please help

    Hello

Clarify your router brand and model can help provide you more specific advice.

You can contact your router service provider and check the following settings:

    1. If Mac filtering is enabled in the configuration of the wireless router, make sure to add the printer Mac address as the authorized device.
You can find the Mac address by printing a Network Setup Page.
(Menu wireless > wireless settings > print Network Configuration Page [Ok])
    2. If your router's wireless security defined as Wep.
Check it defined as Auto / Open authentication and authentication unrequited which is not supported by the latest HP printers.

  • failed to install for photosmart b109 all-in-one a - m. has said usb not connected to the computer

I replaced Vista with a new version of windows 7 64-bit and cannot get my HP Photosmart B109 all-in-one a - m at the end of the installation I downloaded from the HP site. I uninstalled this printer as suggested before attempting the download. He gets to the part where you plug in the power and then the lights on the printer the computer tells me that my USB key is not plugged into it. I tried changing USB website and tested the USB connections and ensure that they work on the computer, but still the same response. The program then continues to stay on the installation of the final software and never complete. Talked with a local tech guy who suggested that you contact because he has no idea.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. However, I did not upgrade but remove vista altogether. I found the problem after a lot of grief and research - there was a cord that had fallen on the back of the library that was not plugged in!

  • Problems with getting a wireless connection for my IPOD touch 32 GB

Bought an IPOD itouch 32 gb last night.  When I connected the ipod, it is connected to my itunes account and copied my music for me.

It is also recognized by the name of WI - FI for my wireless account.  Unfortunately, I can't remember or find my password for my wireless connection and so I am unable to connect my wireless to the ipod and establishing the ability to connect to the internet and get my email, etc.

What is the best course of action for me now.  Should I drop my wireless connection and it restore?  Note: I have a laptop that connects fine, but he asks me a password... it goes directly to the wireless?

    Thank you!

Go into your router configuration utility and in most cases, you will see the password. If the password is not in clear text, you can change it to something that you will remember. If you do this, you will need to change the settings on the laptop, too.

To enter the router configuration utility, connect a computer with an ethernet cable. Open a browser such as Firefox or IE and type the IP address of the router in the address bar. For a Linksys router, you must type: 192.168.1.1 [press on enter]. Refer to the manual of your router for more details.

  • Photosmart C4780: connection for Photosmart C4780 wireless

I spent two hours through the simplistic menu of the printer, only to print copies of the Configuration Page of HP network and Test wireless network without success reports. I think I made all the necessary steps... such as the restoration's default network.

"Your HP printer cannot find your wireless router. Check that your wireless router is powered. Make sure that your network printer HP (SSID) name exactly matches the network name (SSID) wireless routher yout. If they do not exactly match, run the installation of the wireless network to set up your HP printer.

Well, I have entered my IP address of the router as the url of the browser and connected to my cable account, but was not able to change the SSID.

I also looked at the Youtube page help HP and on discussion forums and tried to use the suggestions.

One who seems to be similar to my situation is this:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/LaserJet-Printing/driver-for-HP-Photosmart-C4780-for-OS-X-Mavericks/TD-...

I, too, can't find "the HP network configuration.

I also downloaded the Printer Driver HP Patch for my OS.

At this point, I'm not sure that I can do. The other suggestion on this page was to find a friend with a PC. I phone my mother on-site, running Windows 10. I also downloaded its respective driver. I don't know what I should do next. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a D-Link router, and I can provide additional information, such as IP, WiFi SSID, pine, etc., if necessary.

  • Scope of the wireless connection for remote access to TimeCapsule

I use my TimeCapsule as long wireless rather than "create a wireless network, as my ISP does not allow for the time capsule to use as my router.

I post this question because I would like to access my TimeCapsule remotely and the hard drive connected to it.

Now I'm Back to Mac enabled on TimeCapsule and what I believe is the appropriate port forwarded port to allow a connection outbound to it, but cannot be accessed remotely to the TimeCapsule. Any ideas?

    Two problems here:

    (1) the "extend a wireless network" is a defining Apple owner who is only used if the Capsule is wireless extension of the network from another router from Apple. It is not compatible with the wireless to a 3rd party router.

This parameter must be "create a wireless network" using the same wireless network name and the password of the wireless network FIOS with time Capsule of the FIOS router by a permanent connection, cable connection through an Ethernet cable.

    (2) the time Capsule is configured to act as a router, when it should be configured to act as a "bridge"... Since you already have a FIOS router 'upstream' on the network. If the Capsule is configured as another router on the network, which creates an error Double NAT on the network, and it is unlikely that Back to My Mac would function at all in this type of installation. The setting for the time Capsule router Mode must therefore "Off (Bridge Mode).

Since the Capsule must be in Bridge Mode to work properly with the FIOS router, it's the FIOS router that must be set up for Port Forwarding. Then, in Bridge Mode time Capsule will cross the FIOS router to your network equipment settings.

  • try to establish a wireless connection for deskjet 7580

I used HP assistants to uninstall and reinstall the printer software. Then I used a wizard to help the wireless configuration, but at this point, the wizard tells me to use the buttons on the front of my printer. However, the option I gave on my screen of the printer configuration options of the wizard are not think I have. So now I'm stuck. The printer worked fine as a wired printer to my PC, but I was never able to this network.

I have a Dell with Windows 7 desktop.

    Any ideas?

Hello and thank you for your update!

I understand that your printer is currently connected USB, and you have no place to connect an Ethernet cable directly to your router.

Unfortunately, the printer you have currently, to achieve wireless capabilities, you will need to connect an Ethernet cable to your router. If you look directly on your printer, in the configuration Menu, generally newer models can connect directly to the router (wireless Ethernet) by accessing the wireless configuration wizard. If you had the Wireless Setup Wizard on your printer, you can type your WPA password and the network name of your router.

In addition, even the full features software will be asked to connect your Ethernet cable to wireless.

I'll give you a document from HP on install the software of the printer on a wired (Ethernet) network.

If you have any questions please let me know.
