Wireless HP 309 has issues

Hello

I need help. I have a HP 309 a Photosmart All in one. I used wireless for the past months. However, I am having some problems with getting the printer works wirelessly now. It doesn't work anymore wirelssly. I am unable to get an IP address, I am unable to get the printer to locate the wireless access point.

I have reset the default printer.

I also reset the DEFAULT network settings.

Printer, left for 30 seconds + and the power connector disconnected and turned back.

Uninstall drivers/applications on a computer laptop windows 7(32bit)

Reinstalled driver/apps - it asked me to connect a USB cable to the printer in order to download the wireless settings. I did, but when the installation is a Network Diagnostics it says

"The wireless radio does not work. Contact HP support. »

I can't clear the checkpoint. The printer is located in a reasonable place for a wireless reception. I'm sitting next to the printer and I have very good if not excellent

Any help would be appreciated!

Stewart.

No, your radio has failed.  Return while it is still under warranty.

  • Installation Photosmart 309 has on Windows 7 64 bit

When I try to install my Photosmart 309 has on Windows 7 64 bit on an iMac, PC partition, using the 13.0 installation disc, I get the following error messages:

"This computer has no USB software necessary support to allow for the completion of an installation USB."

"This computer doesn't have the necessary support of the USB hardware to allow for the completion of an installation USB."

The same thing happens with the version 14.0.  If I just hook the printer without the installation disc, the drivers are installed and I get a few opportunities, but not the full capacity, for example, without the HP Solution Center.

Strangely, I have a laptop MacBook Pro with a PC with Windows 7 32-bit partition and 309 installation disc has been installed successfully.

Also, I was able to install it on two computers on the Mac OS side.

    Hi KenJ29

Yes, I had the same problem too... it just kept installing the software and go round in circles telling me that I had no proper USB drivers.  It's a self-extracting .exe.

So, in WIn 7, I downloaded a universal Extractor (freeware) (if you want to download live click on the Installer UniExtract; if you want to check the site for yourself before you download it, go to http://legroom.net/software/uniextract.)

I downloaded the complete HP software - in my particular case, it is the file PS_AIO_06_C309g - m_Full_WIn_enu_140_175.exe, because I'm running a 32-bit version of Windows 7.  Looks like you already, but if you do not have to download software appropriate for your configuration.

I extracted the file self-extracting .exe using the 3rd choice of radio button, (the choice of Setup installshield-no) and saved on a file easy to find on the desktop.

The usbready.exe file must be in the file called "setup", down down the contents of this folder.  I just deleted, rather renamed, and the installation software has worked well.

Yep, overall it's a good PITA bread... all for the love of the Intel USB, version 3.01 system check... Copyright 1998!  And if the hair on my iMac with USB devices... According to this little .exe file... they do not exist.

    Good luck.

  • Firefox has issues with trend micro compatablility

When I downloaded Firefox 4 he told me she had some compatibility problems with some parts of Trend Micro. Trend Micro has been my security of choice for the past six years and I'm not change because she saw perform very well. There is apparently no patches for the two issues being a toolbar, and I do not remember the other. I would like to know if these two problems affect my safety.

Check the availability of an update for Firefox 4.0 with Trend Micro. If they are installing extensions in Firefox, it is for them to keep these compatible extensions Mozilla publishes new versions of Firefox. Really, you should postpone the upgrade to a new version of Firefox until you check with Trend Micro on this situation.

    Hello

I put t know what that card WLan you have but you should try to reinstall the WLan driver.
Go to Device Manager and check first your WLan card.
Then download the page of European Toshiba driver WLan driver.
Then delete or uninstall the old drivers WLan (Device Manager) and install the new downloaded drivers.

Reboot the laptop, and then enable the wireless using the antenna WLan switch and the combination FN + F8.

If you are not familiar with Vista and don t know how to use the Wlan under Vista OS and then google and you will find many pages that describes how to set up WiFi network.

  • Motocast wireless computer Sync has stopped working

    Hello

From 15/01/2013, Motocast Wireless sync stopped sync my Razr Maxx to my computer files. It was working fine until recently. I tried to reinstall the application Motocast on my computer (PC with Windows 7) and that has not fixed the problem. Anything else I can try to get wireless sync files (and Yes, in Motocast on the phone to sync enabled).

Verizon pushed the Razr Maxx also just updated yesterday. Still no luck on getting photos to sync with my computer.

Unfortunately, it is not an option to select the files and force them to synchronize manually. I would if I could to at least save my photos. I'll try the USB later for at least to synchronize data.

It is unfortunate that our efforts have been in vain. You can certainly try one of my previously recommended solutions again, but there is no certainty that the issue will be not permanent.

I brought your question to the attention of a team within HP. They are likely to ask for information from you to get your information or product serial number. Please search for a private message from a contact HP identified. Also, remember not to publicly post information and series numbers.
