Wireless Internet falls on Satellite A505-S6960

About every 30-60 minutes my Wi - Fi will drop its connection. Sometimes at home and on the campus of the school. So I know this isn't just my router at home.

Please help with suggestions.

Hmmm
Have you tried an update of the WLan driver?
In most cases, a driver update could solve these annoying problems.
I recommend you try this here are all WLan drivers:

  • No sound with Satellite A505-S6960

    Hello

Last week the sound went out on my Satellite A505-S6960 speakers and the headphone jack. I'm currently running Vista. Before that, the sound worked fine for the first 6 weeks. After you have reinstalled the following driver, the sound worked fine again:

Driver: Realtek Audio Driver for Windows Vista (32 bit / 64 bit)
    Found here: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2346347& rpn = PSAP0U & modelFilter = A505-S6960 & SelCategorie = 3 & selFamily = 1073768663

However, now, 3 days later the sound no longer works, and reinstalling the driver does not help this time. Someone knows what's the problem?

    Thank you.

Have you tried the system restore option to roll back the OS to an earlier time when everything worked well?
Maybe some update Microsoft has messed up sound.

  • Satellite A505-S6960 continues to 'lose' Dynadock drivers

    I have a laptop Toshiba A505-S6960 with a Dynadock U PA3575U-1PRP.

I have installed and uninstalled several times readers.
My problem is it seems to keep losing the driver for my printer.

The first time I start everything works fine, but a few moments later, I'm going to print and I get an error message from my printer icon indicating that my printer is not online. A few moments later, I get an error message that the connected USB device is not recognized.

If the Dynadock turn off and restart it works perfectly again, but then the same scenario again.

I've been dealing with this for weeks and can not solve this problem.

    Hello DaGriz,

have you tried to connect the dynadock to another usb port?
To the front usb ports supports sleep and fresh.
In addition, you can try it with a different usb cable.

Your printer is working properly, if it is connected directly to your pc?

Also check the settings of your firewall and antivir program.
Maybe the drivers for the dynadock are detected as a virus or a trojan?

    Best regards

    Hey.

I have an A5050-S6960 satellite with part No. PSAP0U-007007 and my screen is completely totaled. I searched on the net for the replacement screens, but I have no idea of the real specs for the screen.

    Media of

And any other information that I needed usually when shopping for a replacement to the screen.

  • Reinstalling Drivers Satellite A505 on Vista without an internet connection

I want to reinstall vista on my Satellite A505. I have the cd and registration key, but I don't have the driver cd (or rather, I have it but for some reason it does not work). With a new installation, vista has no drivers for my laptop, including the driver for my wireless card, internet connection AND when I connect directly via ethernet cable. I have an external hard drive that I can use to transfer files from a computer with an internet connection, but whenever I click on the downloaded drivers, it seems that it works but it doesn't. Y at - it something I am doing wrong?

    Confusing story.

If I understood you right you have downloaded all the drivers and saved on the external HARD drive. Then you have connected this external HARD disk to your A505 and you attempt to start the driver installation, but nothing happens. Can you confirm this?

Which driver you want to install first? I just want to download and check if the installation program will start correctly.

  • Problems of wireless with my Satellite A505

    Hello people,

I have a Satellite A505 which uses a Realtek RTL8191SE wireless network card. Recently, I had connectivity problems with my home router. This configuration used to work perfectly, but recently, I had a problem where I won't be able to connect to my router wireless access point. Reset the adapter does not solve the problem, or don't restart.

I found that my router reboot solves the problem, I am able to login after the reboot of the router. I have not had this problem on any of the other devices or laptops in my house and never had this problem until last month. I tried to do a factory reset on my router in order to ensure that some recent changes in our setup of the router were not to blame, but the problem persists even with a clean slate.

    Ideas for what to do?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    >... and never had this problem until the last month or more
Do you use WLAN driver from Toshiba support page?
I ask this question because I noticed that under Win7 driver for this wireless network card is offered as optional update. Maybe this update is installed, and now you have this problem.
If possible, try to roll back OS a few weeks back and check if the problem persists.

  • HP Pavilion g6 - 2288ca - Wireless internet continually fall

    Hello

Approximately nine to ten months of passes, I bought a laptop HP Pavilion g6 - 2288ca, C2N59UAR product number, Windows 8. Recently I had questions where wireless internet will fall without warning. I have already established that the problem is not with my router or your ISP, so I can only assume that there is a problem with my adapter wireless, either hardware or software-related. Usually, I can connect to my internet at home without any problems. However, as I said, the internet has declined suddenly on my computer when it can be demonstrated to work well on other computers and devices connected to the internet in my house. Now, the thing runs the resolution of problems and you reboot my adapter wireless usually does the trick. Unfortunately, it is often a temporary solution, while the connection is usually immediately after a few minutes. I tried to manually update my drivers, but which seems to have been unsuccessful. In addition, the rate at which it falls seems completely random. Sometimes I'll reset my adapter and it'll work for the next six hours, and sometimes I'll reset and he drops in thirty seconds.

Does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this? These problems have not appeared until recently, and at this point, I am considering just do a system restore.

    Hello:

If your laptop is unfortunately Ralink wireless adapter, this is a common problem with this card.

You can try to update the driver, but most of the time that it does not help.

  • No wireless internet with Windows XP

    Hello everyone,

I installed Windows XP SP2 on a Toshiba Satellite 300 originally shipped with Vista. I installed the drivers I found on the Web site, including the update of the BIOS that made me screw up everything and me forced to restart from the beginning. There the 2nd time I avoided the update of the BIOS and everything seems to work fine, except that I can not connect to wireless internet.

My suspicion is that I might have missed something. So I would know how you usually do to make a wireless connection. If someone could describe the procedure, it would be a great help.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mario

Have you updated the WLAN driver?
You can find it on the Toshiba site or portal driver WLAN:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

    And you see your router?
You should maybe reboot and disable the security features.

  • Satellite A505 - change standard user instead of administrator

    Hello

I recently bought a Satellite A505-S6005. Windows 7 is already installed on the laptop.

The problem I encounter is that I'm a standard user. I'm not the administrator. I would like to change that, so I'll be able to change or install programs.
The problem came earlier, but the difference is that I don't have the windows 7 CD to start Setup again and choose administrator instead of the standard user.
Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi ManiakRe,

In my opinion it of not necessary to reinstall Windows. You can change user permissions in your control panel of the active administrator account set. Then you can use this account, but normally you shouldn't t use an account with permissions to administrator if you surf the Internet.

Also take a look on Google. There are enough pages they describe how to change user permissions.

  • Re: Fall of Satellite L650D-14R - WIFI connection after rest

    Hello

I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite L650D-14R and I have a problem with my wireless network, RTL8191SE card.

The NIC works fine when you start the computer, but if you put the computer in sleep mode, when activating the computer again, the wireless internet connection is passed. The NIC still detects all different networks, but everything just cannot connect to them. The only thing I can do is to reset the network card, and then it works to connect to the internet wireless again.

I have a Netgear wireless router, and if I use a netgear wireless usb adapter this problem does not occur. Anyone know what could be the problem here? I think that it is a software problem, but maybe I'm totally wrong. What drivers? Some settings? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hey,.

    > but if you put the computer in NAP mode
    What is mode NAP?

In any case, have you tried updating the WLAN drivers?
