  I have the MS Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.1 installed on my PC.

  I recently had a few separate issues with my computer and technology at Geek Squad did some work cleaning on my PC for best performance and to get rid of a bad program.  I am running Vista SP2.

  On my keyboard, there are a series of buttons on the top which opens to different folders, or programs.  I had to open Excel and open Word.  The others are default Media Player, email, IE 8, My Documents and my pictures.  Everything worked correctly and opened the program folder / to, before cleaning.  Now mail, IE 8, and Media Player buttons still work, but others did not.  However if I open the Microsoft Keyboard program buttons become functional and remain so until I restart the computer. The keyboard works fine otherwise.  Y at - it a boot option which can have been withdrawn inadvertently during the cleaning process, which is the cause and if so how can I have reconstitute?

  To test the response of the keys on the keyboard, use the Microsoft keyboard Diagnostics (MS Key), a utility program that is included with the Microsoft IntelliType software. To use MS Key, follow these steps.

  Note the MS key utility is only supplied with the version of the Microsoft IntelliType 1.1 and later versions. If you do not have Microsoft IntelliType installed, you can visit the following Microsoft Web site to install this software:

  Start Microsoft Keyboard Diagnostics. To do this, use one of the following methods:

  My old notebook 5000 mouse, 3 yr became somewhat erratic, so I tried to clean the lens, gently, with a cotton wool bud! I know I shouldn't, but... Yes, I did.

  It was still more does not on the mouse pad, I tried on the laptop (black) a little better, but when I place it on a book purpley / red back to perfect recognition.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated, because its price doubled in since I bought it.

  I thought to replace, but you really can't find anything better, so I maybe but another.

  Or maybe find a purple mouse mat!

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Please provide me with the following information to better understand the issue.

  1. What is the exact model of the mouse that you use in the system? What is the mouse Microsoft Wireless 500?

  If so, I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the driver software Microsoft Wireless 5000 mouse and check if that helps.

  To do this, please refer to the steps below and check if that helps.

  1. Type devmgmt.msc in the search box start and press ENTER.

  2. In Device Manager, expand the mouse & keyboard listed in the list of devices.

  3. Right click on the driver.

  Yes, I have the same keyboard...

  I have a Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard V1.1 and a Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2000. (I actually 2 set s of them.) These are brought together as a Pack years ago. Both work very well and have never had any problems. Unfortunately I discovered that the keyboard is not compatible with the new mouse and keyboard Center, although I found a way to make both work properly & be able to program BOTH with Windows 8.1.

  First of all, do NOT try to use the center of the mouse and the keyboard as the keyboard is NOT compatible. If you have installed this software go to 'Control panel' & 'programs and features' and uninstall.

  Download these 2 files:

  It's the Microsoft IntelliPoint Mouse Software for Windows - 32 bit 8.2

  It's Microsoft IntelliType Pro 8.2 keyboard software for Windows - 32 bit

  Or for the 64-bit versions

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft Answers forum.  What is the approximate distance from the PC which is picking up a false signal?  The range for this device should be about 6 feet.
  If you have the latest drivers for your device, then download and install the latest from here: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/downloads/default.mspx once you have the latest version of the installed software I would suggest turning all off the PC.  Then sync them one at a time all are off the other pc.

  Please help - it's driving me crazy! I got this to work!

  I am using Vista Ultimate and a connection (cat-5) ethernet to an xbox 360 as a Media Extender (via a Linksys router). I get the error of the video:
  "The files needed to display video are not installed or not working not properly." Please restart Windows Media Center or restart the computer "."

  I have a Happauge PVR 150 TV capture card installed, and you want to watch TV and my video files Via the Xbox 360. I can see the guide for lists of TV programs, but not to look at them without getting the message above.  I can also put in place a program to record, display the video thumbnail, but not play. Video files only will play are videos very select few years recorded only where there is.

  My graphics card is an ATI 2900XT - 512 MB of ram, with the latest drivers.

  I've seen a number of discussions on the web that describes the same (or similar) problem, but none of them seem to have no solution.

  I had Norton Internet Security installed and it has since withdrawn because of the firewall. I had thought, it could be a firewall issue, but it is not. I'm now using the Windows Firewall for now.

  I deleted and reinstalled the Xbox as an Extender media several times... no help. I have re-installed the complete drivers for the video capture card, it has not helped either. I checked and double-checked the settings on my router as well.

  The xbox is set for the share on my multimedia computer. The correct files can also be programmed for sharing.

  On the PC in Windows Media Center, I can view the TV programs, record programs etc etc etc all work.

  Any help would be really appreciated!

  Was working OK until I upgraded to the latest version of Intellipoint V8 & Type Pro 8.2. Now the works of control Volume and other keys do not work, but not both at the same time. Can switch between the work of group by restarting HID (Human Interface Service). Have tried all ID of the MS Article: 932875 but no result. I did everything right by uninstalling the old version first. Frustrating

  Have you checked if the keyboard works fine on another computer?
  
  Method 1:

  LR Vertical and Horizontal controls use the focal length and camera metadata from the image file and adjust the image based on its effective focal length. A goal of 200mm if on a 1.5 crop body factor has an effective focal length of 300mm, resulting in an extreme telephoto perspective. That's why you see more "stretch" the image when you adjust the Vertical control, with a focal length lenses below)<>

  The image file video YouTube has vertical converging vertical very light, slight clockwise rotation and distortion in light pad. You should be able to correct the image for parallel verticals with small values of Vertical and Rotation adjustment. I suggest using "Activate profile Corrections" (profile tab) to fix the small amount of lens distortion.

  So always questions please post the image file on Dropbox or other filesharing site and I'll take a look. Thank you.

  I am new to the forum and would like some advice as to why my light do not work on CC. The effect does not appear to occur when I clicked OK. So I can't see what is happening and can not change the size or terms of the circles, they also appear only when I left click and then disappear again. He does not do what it is in the tutorials I watch.

  I followed some advice and updated my drivers, went into preferences and performance and found that the CL has not been highlighted so cannot select. Check also that I am 8-bit.
