Hello
I appreciate your efforts to solve the problem.
This problem may occur corrupt or incompatible drivers, missing updates or because of incorrect network connection settings.

I am running windows 8 and have Avast! for antivirus. I'm running FF ver26 and is up to date. This problem just started about 2 weeks ago.
Hi doughnuts49er, have you noticed any pattern as to the type or source of the download?
I noticed in your list of extensions that you have Advanced SystemCare. Since the recent update, users have reported a variety of issues. Could you try disabling this extension and partner, AccelerateTab?
Open the page modules using either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then find and disable:
- AccelerateTab 1.4.1
- Advanced SystemCare surf Protection 1.0
If everything is not essential, unrecognized or suspicious, don't hesitate to disable those as well.
If a link appears on one of the disabled extensions to restart Firefox, you can complete your work on the tab and click the links in the last step.
Who can help.

Apple Watch does not a Ding noise when you plug in the charger
Recently my watch Sport Apple stopped making noise "ding" when I connect the charger it. This is happened after I changed the bands and noticed two green lights on the back of the watch as I turn off the watch. I checked the volume on both the watch and the app on my iPhone 6 Plus and they are correct. Has anyone experience this problem?
Hello
Try to restart or if it does not help, force the reboot - your watch:
-Restart: Press and hold the side button until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off; Hold down the side button until you see the logo.
-Force the reboot: hold down the side button and the digital Crown for about 10 seconds, until you see the logo.
-
In my view, that the accidents come from my laptop overheating.
I don't need help with this, it is not a problem. I don't know how to report it as a bug.
Hi much_noise, thank you for bringing that place - it seems that it is a known problem when generating en - us that will be fixed in firefox 36.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

Why other users who are are my nearby?
Can I be sure that they cannot see me when discovery of the network on my computer is off?
Should I worry about these other users?
I am the only computer in my home group, and my wife uses a Tablet using my wireless network key. but no one else has access to my home group.
Discovery Network turns off the discovery of other devices that are already inside your trusted network (like your TV system game, tablets, phones and other computers).
It does not affect the list of wireless network connection, which is actually just a list of wifi nearby broadcasting system has found. You can not turn off without turning off your wifi. But this isn't a security problem.

I use an Acer Asspire One with Windows XP. We have wireless through AT & T Uverse. The netbook has an Atheros AR5007EG Ethernet card.
A number of things have taken place lately: I had not used the Acer for some time and the battery was dead and would not recharge. I could book until when it was plugged, but could not get on the Internet. I found online that the solution to the battery problem was to download a new bios that worked wonderfully and it is now loaded. Recently, our AT & T router died and was replaced. I put the new WEP keys in two other computers, and they connect to the Internet. I can't connect to the Internet with the Acer. I tried ipconfig / renew and get the error message: "an error occurred during renewal of the wireless network connection interface: unable to contact your DHCP server.» Request a expires. No operation can be performed on Local area connection while it has its media disconnected. "On the tab"Choose a wireless network", it shows my network and said"absorbing the network address"but nothing happens. When I do ipconfig I see that there is no IP address.I took the computer to Starbucks this morning, ran ipconfig / renew and she acquired the IP address and I was able to connect to the Internet. I brought the computer home and tried and failed to connect. The IP address is back to 0.0.0.0 and the error message appears when I try to renew it.I hesitate to make a lot of changes since it was working with a different network.Original title: IP address is missingThese forums are wonderful. I tell myself that I've saved the cost of a new battery using the bios, I found on a forum!Hello

I still need help: 11-24-10' uncorrected problem after all
I have a laptop of refurbished HP older Pavilion ze5385US who has recently lost the wireless connection. Now, I have to leave it plugged in to use, not practical at all. I did the right click on the icon to open the network connections, left clicked wireless network connections and then clicked "repair this connection. The uninstaslled of the computer, and then was not able to reinstall. When I checked D, it was empty. I thought it was where restoration stuff should have been. So I downloaded and reinstalled much Express IEEE 802.11 PCI card Lan, until I found the one that the computer would be except. Now, it appears in device very good Manager, but has theyellow cone with! on the icon in the status bar at the bottom. When I raised it lights, it is said: 13 of (ANY) wireless network connection, speed: 11.0 Mbps, Signal strength: Excellent, status: limited or no connectivity. When I choose "View available wireless networks", I get "Windows cannot configure this wireless connection. Under network without wire/support/details of connections, Iget physical address: 00-02-8A-92-BE-0C, IP address: 169.254.196.112 subnet mask: 255.255.0.0, then the default gateway, DNS server, WINS server & have not enumerated values. I'm afraid to hit the repair again, it could wipe out the only map I've found so far that is accepted by my computer. When I try to enter the knowledge base for WinXP, I get an error for this page, as well as several other help pages I tried the site of microsoft.com for help. When I used configurationtool thewireless zero in respect of services & restart earlier, I had a red X on my icon, so I guess I've lost my card after all. Can I disable this? The map always shows as OK in Device Manager. Any ideas anyone? I need help here please.
Hello
I thank you and wish you the same.
I see that your problem has been solved using the HP driver that you mentioned on Thursday, November 18 in your message and the Express.sys is a problem with Windows install.
I suggest to install the version of Windows install 4.5 on the system from the link below and then update the driver from the link that was attached to your question before and check.
Step 1:
Install windows install 4.5
Windows install 4.5 Redistributable
Step 2:
Update the driver from the link you mentioned in your previous post.
I suggest you to check with TP-link if this model is compatible with Windows XP or not.

Thanks and regards.

Problems with wireless USB adapter. Icon missing "Wireless network connection".
I recently got a laptop HD malfunction cause me to start my PC from 2004. I bought a Belkin N150 Wireless USB adapter to connect to the internet connectivity. During the installation, I do not get a "Wireless network connection" icon I am running Windows XP SP3. I installed the same USB adapter on a computer running Windows XP SP2 and it works fine. I plugged it in my desktop PC and it just doesn't work! Even with my router disconnected I should still be able to see other networks WiFi available in the range (I live in a community of apartment) as he worked on the other computer it elsewhere too. I double checked the drivers, reboot the cable modem, so that appropriate services were activated and still no dice. I have read forums and I'm almost at the point of paying MS for technical support services, but it's really just my last step before I shell out money for professional help. Notice to lovers? =)
Hello
Well, at this point, you should make an executive decision.
If you think that someone will take just guilt because it's comfortable, it is not going to happen.
If a new card that is known to work does not work, then you can try to re - install Windows.
One of the differences between computer enthusiasts and regular users is the availability of the material. I have a set of wireless router, network cards, etc. that are known to be good.
The components are used for the sole purpose of trying them temporarily on the troubled computers to rule out hardware problems.

Office jet pro 8610: wireless network connection
We have an office pro 8610 jet that is connected to the router wireless via a connection cable, wireless to the printer should be turned off. 2 laptops in the House continually revisit the wireless printer output and plug. Why the laptop does not see the connect if the output of the printer wireless is disabled? Even if I check the box for this connection is not to be automatically connected to it will always connect when you turn on the laptop?
Hello @richardbo,
Welcome to the Forums of HP and thanks for posting!
I understand that you have a problem with your devices wirelessly to the network that connects the printer e-all-in-one HP Officejet Pro 8610 automatically. I'd love to help you with this.
You are right on the assumption that the ethernet disables the ability of the printer to connect to a wireless network. However, the printer has a feature called live wireless. Basically, the printer will be broadcast a signal and act as a router so that you can connect devices directly to it. I suspect that's what devices are connected, then here are the steps which stops:
- On the homescreen of the printer, tap the Wireless live downstairs. ((Deuxième à gauche)
- Select settings.
- Select Direct wirelessand OFF.
Please reply to let me know if that solves the problem!
Have a great day.
