Wireless networks disappear minutes after startup

I start my desktop PC (Windows 7) and everything works fine. I am connected to my wireless router and have access to the internet.

Then a problem occurs, sometimes only 2 or 3 minutes later, sometimes around 5 or 6 minutes later.
The computer loses internet access, but remains connected to the network. After a few seconds, the internet is back.
After a few times, the computer finally loses the connection to the network, and then the network (as well as other networks that were in the range) is no longer there.
I am currently link this on my laptop which is right next to my office. My laptop is connected to the router wireless (and internet) without any problem.
I've been struggling with this for a while now and there are only a few hours, I deleted Norton anti-virus with the Norton Removal Tool. No change.
Map of TP-Link in the problematic PC wireless network is only about 2 years old. I think my next step is to buy a new card netword, thoughts?
EDIT - I forgot to mention. I uninstalled and reinstalled the NIC several times. No driver updates available.
I just thought an idea. Before buying a new card, I'll see if I can install this on my brother's PC. So I'll see what happens.

    Most laptops have a button On / Off to toggle the wireless connectivity to security purposes. Dell Inspiron are usually Fn + F2 (noted with a little blue on the F2 key). Try typing this key combination to see if your wireless network can easily be reinstated.

    Fn + F2 is not correct, the other possibilities for a Dell would be Fn + F8 or Fn + F12. Look for the blue identification icon.

  • Wireless network cannot connect after sleep (X 200 tablet, win7)

    Hi all

    I've seen similar problems like this asked several times, but they have rarely been resolved and not by any means that I have not already tried, therefore this is.

    Immediately after starting, my wireless card works fine.  After that I put my computer to sleep then wake up, however, the wireless network adapter seems to fail.  It still detects networks, but when I try to log in, it takes a long time to connect, then says he can't.  If I wait a bit and try again, the same thing happens.

    This can be solved temporarily by one of these three methods:

    1 restart the computer.

    2 troubleshooting wireless network card (it resets the adapter each time and then it works).

    3. go to network and sharing Center-> adapter settings-> turn off, then turn on the wireless card.

    This problem is reproducible on EVERY sleep and on ANY wireless network (i.e. it is not a router problem).

    Solutions proposed that I already tried:

    1 reinstall/restore/update driver software.

    2. change the settings for the network adapter power management to not allow the computer to turn off the device to save energy.

    3. change the power management not to go in network adapter power saving mode.

    Entails disadvantages because I often need to turn my computer on sleep and access to the internet, and disabling + to reactivate the wireless network card takes time.  If someone managed to overcome a similar problem?

    Thank you.

  • Windows Vista (64-bit) crashes a few minutes after startup is complete. Difficult to get out of the lock start.

    After a Windows updated 12/09/2009 from my computer stopped working.  It starts (without error) and then freeze a few minutes after loading Windows.

    I removed all the updates of Windows since mid-November, but this has not fixed the problem.  I also tried to boot to the last known successful configuration and has followed the procedures of "clean boot upward" found elsewhere on this forum.  None of these actions resulted in necessary corrections.

  • HP Pavilion notebook - audio maintains disappear minutes after pc startup

    Hello everyone. This is my first post in this forum.

    For about a month, I had an annoying problem with my laptop audio. Quite often, when I turn on my pc, my audio disappears after a few minutes. Sometimes, there is no solid right from the start. The mute button doesn't work, because normally there is an orange light when you turn off the pc sound, although that does not happen again. Windows Media Player can only read formats such as mp4, avi etc with no sound in the background. However, it cannot open mp3 files at all (the error message). Videos on sites like youtube stop playing after a few seconds (although the buffer is still ongoing, and of course there is no sound).

    So, basically, there is no type of audio from the speaker (as his error, sound message, control the sounds etc...)

    I tried to plug in the headphones and external speakers, but not luck.  I've updated my audio driver, but it did not help.

    Moreover, when I run the audio control panel test, an error message appears that says "device currently being used by another application. Please close all applications that use the device and start again. »

    My laptop is quite new. It's a "HP Pavilion 15 - e070sl.

    All this is driving my crazy. It's really frustrating. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello

    Win 8 has a new feature called quick start. It can sometimes cause problems as you mentioned as well as others.

    The best way to know if the problem is to disable and see what happens.

    This feature works only when you make a STOP and then start.

    It is not perform a RESTART.

    Turn on or off...

    Go to the control panel... Power options, and then select choose the power what buttons on the left.

    Then select change settings that are currently unavailable near the top center of the screen...

    Lower on the window, uncheck the quick start.

    This may or may not help your problem, but is easy to check.

    If this solves the problem, you can analyze what is not supported correctly.

    The problem is probably related to drivers for your network adapter, but quick start will worsen the problem if they are not good.

  • the mouse cursor sticks 5 minutes after startup

    I'm not terrible with my mouse cursor.  I start as usual - all seems to work.  Then after 5 minutes the cursor sticks.  I tried to reset then close down and ty again.  Doing this for two days now.

    Hello

    1. when the question is is produced?
    2. you remember to make changes to your computer before the problem?
    3. are you using a cable or a wireless mouse?

    Follow the steps mentioned below and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

    Start your computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists

    Step 2:

    If the problem does not persist in safe mode, there must be a third party software that is causing the problem to occur, this is why I suggest you put your computer in a clean boot state.

    After a long waiting, pulled out the battery/power supply.

    Restarted in safe mode, was able to run AVG, but froze again.
    Has helped me select the AVG window and move it autour, but nothing else.

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    http://www.Compaq.com/country/cpq_support.html
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • Computer crashes to 2 or 3 minutes after startup, sometimes said "not genuine Windows".
    Hello!
    I have a Toshiba Satellite L750D. Windows 7.
    Everything works fine when there is 3 months, I bought the laptop.
    A few days ago, it started to happen:
    The computer starts correctly, Windows starts up, watch the user login screen. Everything works well so far.
    This desktop computer, runs Windows as usual. Two or three minutes later, it becomes terribly slow. So slow that just try to open Explorer takes like 5 minutes... Then the situation becomes unbearable, it's as if the computer crashes.
    Then I have to stop it manually (by pressing button On / Off for 5secs).
    In another time, share this problem, it appears at the bottom right of your desktop that the copy of Windows is not genuine.
    I know that it is authentic, I bought the laptop and I have activated Windows correctly. But hey, this is a minor issue and only happens 1/3 of the time I try to start the computer. The main problem is that Pseudo-gel of infinite of Windows.
    Start in Safe Mode does not change the problem at all. It starts well and like 3 minutes later, becomes terribly slow.
    I can solve the problem somehow (running antivirus, etc.) because I can't throw soft...
    Appreciate your comments on this issue,
    Best regards
  • Satellite P300 PSPCCE: Atheros AR9281 wireless network adapter are not all networks
    I have a Satellite P300 PSPCCE with Atheros AR9281 wireless network.
    After a clean install of Windows 7, I can't see wireless networks, unless I connect an Ethernet cable to my wired network card.
    As soon as I take the cable on wireless networks disappear. This computer had Vista and it worked fine there. I tried latest drivers available from Toshiba, but that makes no difference.
    Hi mate
    To be honest I never did experience even with a WiFi card and I have no idea why the LAN cable affects WLan card functionality, it makes no sense to me!
    First, I recommend that you check the settings of the router and reset if necessary
    In addition, you should go to the s for laptop BIOS settings and set its default value.
    Check the version of the BIOS if newest is available, then an update would be worth a try
    You use the Atheros Wlan configuration tool?
    If this is not the case, try this out!
    It s a configuration tool that could be used instead of owning windows wlan settings
