Wireless on my A10 PC compatibility

I have a Toshibia Satellite Pro A 10, who says he has a wireless compatibility. When I turn on the switch wireless on the laptop and load the computer it does not detect my wireless network I have running on other PCs.

How to detect the network?

  • Satellite Pro A10 drive compatibility list?

Hi all, I have a hard drive to be replaced for the House of /2.5Ghz/30G/256Mb/XP Satellite Pro A10.

The pins of the connector appear more highlighted than many 2.5-inch hard drives. Don't want to take the risk of buying an inconsistent player. Is there a list of compatible drives anywhere, or someone may one suggest that costs about £50 - ish. ? Not too concerned about the size, 30-40Gb would be perfect. The original MK3021GAS is hard to find or expensive or repaired, and I'd rather have a new.

    Cheers for any help.

  • A10 lack of wireless connection

I can not configure Lan Wireless on my A10.

I don't see the Wireless_LAN_Card "TOSHIBA" in my Device Manager list, so I can't update the 'Wireless LAN Driver' as described in the Readme file.

I updated the BIOS to 1.30 and execution of the BIOS, but there is nothing in there relating to the wireless LAN. The switch wireless on the front of the machine is set on IT.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Steve

Sorry, but I'm a little confused. You know very well that your device has no wireless network card but will allow you to create the WLAN connection. Without wireless network card, it will be very difficult.

What model A10 you have (A10 - xxx, satellite or Satellite Pro)?

  • Want DV7-7230us: HP Envy DV7-7230us dual band wireless compatibility

    Hi all -

I have a DV7-7230us that I've updated massively since the purchase at a great price about 3 years - new display, 500 GB SDD, Win10-Pro, memory maxed out, etc..

This laptop has all the abilities and raw power I need a laptop, but one thing that bothers me is the minimap original wireless in - it's single-channel video, 2.4 GHz a/b/g.

I would like to replace it with the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 2 x 2 Networok/Bluetooth adapter (7260.HMWWB. (R), but I just want to ensure compatibility before you start down this path here - anyone had success and/or advice I should on this? If not compatible, does anyone know card dual band wireless compatible AC that works?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Your machine was built long before mid-2014, so the chance to upgrade the wifi card is slim to zero. There is a list on page 7 of the following document:

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c03591253.PDF

Option: AC USB wireless card is the way to go.

    Kind regards.

On the front of this laptop is a wireless switch - this switch is set on, Windows XP Pro can't find any wireless device - Windows Device Manager shows not all adater wireless. You can advice please - what do I need to install driver - this laptop supports wireless?

    Thank you very much

    Owen

    Hello

Usually, if you have a laptop wireless switch should have a wireless LAN card too. In your case I would try to install the driver. Then the WLAn card should appear correctly in Device Manager:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

If that doesn t work, you can try a BIOS update.

Are you running the factory settings or you have installed your own version of Windows?

Windows has found two "Base system device", and I suspect that one of them is the wireless. No idea what I am doing wrong? I downloaded the latest drivers wireless for A10, but nothing has changed. One of my friends suggested that the BIOS must have a setting to toggle wireless, but I couldn't find this setting in the BIOS. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
