Wireless printing problem-Documents stuck in print queue

Original title: printing problem

Until yesterday, I was able to print OK using Windows XP and a pro HP Officejet 8500 wireless.  Reported network test wireless (on printer) and report indicates that there are no reported problem, also did the diagnostic test and which shows no problem either.  I can't print and documents are just stuck in the print queue - please can someone help, it drives me crazy because it's probably a very simple solution.

I guess you do not have all of the error messages.

It is possible that comes to mind that your printer has received a new IP address of your router (this could easily happen if you have several computers and other devices that connect to your wireless network).

Find the IP address of the printer of his network diagnostic page.
Click Start > printers and faxes, right-click the printer and select Properties
Select the Ports tab, then click on the button "Configure Port" (be careful NOT to click anywhere in the list of ports)
Make sure that the IP address in 'Port settings' is identical to that shown on the diagnosis of your network printer page.

Although some printers wireless HP install a driver having a box in the "Parameters of the Port" tab that says always "print to this same device if its IP address changes" it is best to configure the printer to have a static IP address.  See your printer User Guide for instructions.

Choose an appropriate subnet address (i.e., has the first 3 groups of numbers the same as the other addresses in your network) but who is not in the range of addresses assigned by the DHCP server on your router.  See the User Guide of your router for more details.

  • Unable to print on a HP printer, documents stuck in the queue

OK, so I have a HP Deskjet 1000 printer. And I am trying to print a Word from my other computer document, but it does not work. I checked the "see what's printing' for this printer on the computer on which I wanted to print from, and it shows a bunch of documents in the print queue. I tried to cancel or restart them, but nothing happens. I just get "error processing command." I already checked the C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, but there nothing in it. I already deleted the printer and re-inserted and you download the drivers again. Unable to print all right, but I still have computers (I have two). On the computer where the printer is, if I try to print something, nothing happens, no documents in its queue. But the other computer, it just keeps adding more documents in the queue and I can't do anything. I use Windows 7 Home Premium on two of them.

Edit 1: I was able to successfully complete the queue from here: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/how-

But now the problem is when I go to MS Word and go to file > print, it says ' Paper Out: 1 document waiting '. I wonder if this is what is causing the problem. I use a HP Deskjet 1000. And then if I try to print something from the computer with the printer, the print job will appear and then disappear quickly.

Edit 2: Ok, I've solved this by removing the printer from devices and printers. When I added this return, he installed a driver that wasn't there and ended. Then I tried to print something and he actually got the print job. Now the question is when I push the power button and ensuring that it catches the paper, it is not actually print out what I wanted to print. Also, I am trying to install the drivers for the printer, and it says "plug the square end of the USB cable to the back of the printer and the flat end of the cable to a USB port available on this computer. Well, I connected physically, but it's not detect it. The drivers are for Deskjet 1000 J110.

  • How to send content from a HP OJ 6500 wireless printer queue to another queue of JO 6000 HP wireless?

Sent several items to print on the HP OfficeJet 6500 from my laptop, then it crashed (dead printhead). I don't have access to these sources any longer, so I need to send/copy the content in the file print from the queue of the 6000 6500's. Any ideas?

Unfortunately there is no way to "switch" elements of a print to another queue. My recommendation is leave those in the queue of the printer until the print head can be replaced, or find the originals of these documents and return them to the JO 6000.

Once a document is sent to the printer, it is allocated and passed by this driver, and each driver is unique. You need to run the query using the software of 6000 and you should have no problem to print these documents.

    Have a great day!

  • Printing HP Officejet Pro 8600 stuck in the queue - Wireless Intermittent

We have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 (CM947A) that we used it for several years without problem.  I use the version of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.  We have two PC that print wireless.  There were several days of work began to get stuck in the print queue of the printer for both PC to print.  I can cancel the printing of the queue, but the next task will be stuck again.  I print Microsoft Word documents contain a single sentence.  The problem goes away if I restart the printer, but the problem comes back the next morning.  I have re-installed the software print and changed the channel on the router on channel 8 that uses the null in the region.  The printer firmware is up-to-date.  The HP printing software and doctor Scan has not solved the problem. The indicator on the right side of the printer's pale blue wireless is enabled when the problem occurs.  When print jobs are stuck in the queue, I can not connect to the printer by typing the IP address in a browser window.

This problem has been resolved by the above phone support number.  We have solved the problem by changing the encryption on the router to WPA2 to WPA + WPA2.   The router is a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO Router P57746-B.

  • OfficeJet 4500 510n - print jobs stuck in the queue when using wireless

    Hello

I bought just a new Officejet 4500 510n yesterday and I have a Dell with Windows 7 64 bit laptop that I connect to the USB or wireless. The reason for this is that sometimes, the laptop is not right next to the printer and we need to print things (for example, my wife works upstairs sometimes with the laptop and the printer is downstairs in the living room). I was able to get the configuration of the printer on both the wireless and USB without any major problems and it prints fine when I print via USB. However, when I print wireless, the print job appears in the queue and shows that it is printing, but he never curls work all the way. The work gets "stuck" while waiting in line, for example, it gets stuck at 772 bytes of 940 bytes

I downloaded the HP Print Diagnostic here tool and ran it and and it passed all the tests first time. However, when I goto the last test, which is to print the test page, it sends the print job to the queue and then everything gets stuck as indicated above. I was able to cancel the job and it comes off very well, but restarting the work does not work, it just get stuck again. Meanwhile, I don't get ANY error messages at all.

Here's what I've done regarding troubleshooting:

    -Ping the printer - spent

-Restart the service print spooler - no change to the problem

-Check that the printer is set as deafult - spent

-Update of HP Ran to ensure there is no missing updates - found 2 updates and install them

None of the above has solved the problem, so I'mm this ad here in the hope that someone may have had this problem before and fixed it.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for the reply.

It turns out that I could solve it myself. I went to add the printer wireless on another laptop, I have here on my home network and it printed a page of test very well, so I thought it must have been a bad installation on the main laptop.  I removed everything and reinstalled as a wireless printer, and it worked perfectly. Amazing what can make a bad installation.

  • Documents get stuck in the printer queue and I have to restart so that they print

often, when I try to print a document or web page, or anything, the document will get stuck in the queue for the printer.  the printer will tell me 1 post pending but nothing prints.  I have to restart my computer to print the document.

No answers so I'll try to help. I don't have a printer for many years. A practical tool, I used to use repeatedly put my printer icon on my desktop or in the taskbar. Try it! Go to Control Panel, open Printers and faxes, right click on your printer and choose Create shortcut and click Yes. Once on your desktop then drag it to the taskbar when you have a page open it will be more accessible. Open it and click on the printer and click Cancel all documents. From what I remember when the print queue of the printer is over load it won't print and clicking on cancel all documents throws to the queue. Check the menu options to set your preferences. I hope this helps!

  • Document stuck in the print queue?

I have a HP Deskjet 3055 A printer that I bought last year. Apart from the fact that it is supposed to work wireless and is THEREFORE not (grrr), it was OK. However, two days ago it stopped printing even if it is connected via USB. In looking at the print queue, it seems that a document my daughter wanted to print to work at home is still sitting there--I tried to cancel but the * beep * thing is just wrong and I think it caused a complete shutdown. I tried to unplug, re - connect, restart the pc, pick up the printer and shaking through, printer dangling out the window on his own body and shouting death threats and finally to chew my own arm out of rage, but so far nothing has worked. Does anyone have any ideas or experiences that can help? I would be very grateful.

    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

  • Documents stuck in print queue! P1006 Laser

Tried EVERYTHING... reinstall the software, drivers, change the cartridges, rebooted, etc... All my documents, including the "test page" to go in the print queue, but does not print. NEVER! Using Windows7 64 bit. The printer worked fine for months. It was only recently. And Yes, I ensure that the PAUSE button was not on and the printer is NOT in offline mode. I can clear the queue and try again, but same result. Help!

    Thank you

    Bob

Thanks for all help, but I solved this problem on my own. Note that many of you can run on the same subject (s). This may work for other issues as well. Sometimes I had some corrupted system files in this case affecting my printer or the printer spool. To know if you have corrupted files, follow these steps:

Open a command prompt (START > RUN > then type "cmd")

This will bring up the back window of dialogue.

If you're not already in the drive C (or anywhere where the OS), type "cd c: /"(without the quotes). " Now you should have the cursor flashing after just the c: /.

Now, type in (once again without the quotes), ' sfc/scannow' (space after sfc).

It will analyze your entire system of corrupted system files and replace them with the correct file. This will take a few minutes to complete.

When finished, restart your computer and try again.

    Good luck.
