Wireless receiver 3.1 Desktop device driver

Hi all

You just bought a Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 3000.  I installed the software that came with it.  However, my Windows XP Pro SP3 computer not recognize the receiver.  He keeps trying to install a device driver.  I looked in Device Manager and noticed that the receiver is not recognized.

I uninstalled the software, downloaded the latest version of the Microsoft Web site, re-installed but nothing helped.  My computer always looks for the device driver.

I looked for answers through Google.  Once again, without success.

This problem is driving me crazy.  While the receiver is not recognized, I can't use my new office kit.

Can someone please?

Everyone is thanking in advance.

I have the solution for this

When Windows asks for drivers, click on locate the driver and type that only your car home is usually C:\ and let OS search for you (make sure your software of keyboard and/or mouse is installed) and it should you detects a driver and automatically installs for you. Mine office mouse come first but keyboard is not working and removed and re-insert battery and plug it back and it should work.

I hope this helps.

  • Game 360 wireless receiver does not appear in Device Manager.

    Hello

I recently bought a 360 game wireless receiver for my laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)) (w / two usb 3.0 ports)
The receiver came with an installation disk that redirect me to a download of updated driver where I downloaded the Windows 7 drivers (64-bit). After installing syncing controllers unsuccessfully. The receiver flashes green when I press the button and the controller detects the signal when I press the button, but she never settled in a quadrant to the light upward.
I searched the internet and this site where people asked similar questions. "Most have solved their problem by following a step by step process that is to locate a "unidentified device" or a" ""controller common microsoft ' in the Device Manager. I think not or the other device, a manager.

It's my problem, I would be able to resolve the issue had the device in Device Manager, but this isn't the case.

If anyone could offer any help it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I would try to run a system restore to see if that helps.  If you have Norton installed, follow step 2 first on the link below.

    http://us.Norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docURL=20091112171719EN&LN=en_US

Shut down the PC.  Tap away at f8 that you start the PC to bring up the Windows Recovery console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press return.  When this mode is loaded up, click on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point before you deleted the driver and then proceed to the restoration.

When Windows has restarted, see if you can now connect wireless again.

    I hope this helps.

After running through the range of diagnoses and fixes for the router and the computer (including disconnecting the wireless receiver and in him plugging) everything is in order, except my connection hiccups on a regular basis - in other words, the connection is interrupted briefly and then restores itself.

I don't know if it is a question, or the original question has come and gone, and my attempts to correct them, he created another separate question, these persistent hiccups.

I found that on my list of device, the wireless receiver is listed as an UNKNOWN DEVICE in need of troubleshooting; It says "Driver is not available." • Error: Device driver software has been installed correctly

I built a new desktop computer and installed Vista x 32 last summer.  I had no problems until recently, when I tried to plug in a flash drive a friend and Vista has problems to install the driver.  I received the message:

Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it.
    USB mass storage device
Not enough memory is available to process this command.

I ended up plugging the flash drive on my laptop and transfer the files to my desktop on my home network.  The second problem occurred a few weeks later, when the internal memory card reader that I had installed has stopped working.  I thought it was a driver problem, so I uninstalled the device by using Device Manager and restarted my computer, thinking that the plug-and-play device should be automatically reinstalled.  Upon reboot, Vista tried to reinstall the device and ends with a similar message to what I had received for the flash player.

I was determined to get my pictures on my computer so I plugged into an external USB card reader.  I received the same message when trying to install it.  Finally, I tried to plug directly into my Canon SD880IS, but again received the message.

Does anyone know why Vista does not recognize one of these USB devices?  I tried a variety of USB ports on my computer without success and everything that I had already installed works always.  I'm not sure what the message is referring when he said "not enough memory is available to process this command."  I have 151 GB free on my disk system and 4 GB of memory installed.

    Thanks in advance!
