  • Card wireless replacement on the Satellite A500D - 11 c

    Hello
    Excuse me for my English.
    I have a Satellite A500d - 11 c and my wireless card is dead.
I want to know if the wireless card is connected to the motherboard and if I changed?

If so, how can I do?

    Sincerely,

    Hello

In the past, I disassembled several Toshiba laptops but not A500. In General, the principle is the same, and you can find the wireless network under the keyboard map. It must be placed enough in the middle. You will recognize easily because the WLAN antenna is connected to the network without WIRE (black wire) card.

Problem is that the keyboard is fixed with two screws placed at the bottom hidden under the battery.

If you don t have experience with this sort of thing please don t do anything on your own and ask for professional help.

I would like suggestions for a network adapter wireless replacement for my model - it currently has an Atheros AR9002WB-1NG, but this does not support the 5 mhz band and does not seem to raise a signal WiFi and my Samsun tab 2

    Any suggestions?

These updates is not supported and Toshiba does not provide any kind of information on compatibility. Usually if laptop owners are not happy with the internal hardware, solution is always external third party material like PSMCIA or USB solution card.

Unfortunately I can't help you with this, and you will be very happy if someone here has made these updates, with success, of course.

I've had my computer for almost three years now and during that time, most of the parties on this matter have been replaced.

More recently, I got both my hard drive and my card wireless replaced due to different problems and now it has developed recently that I can not connect to wireless internet. I live with my best friend, who also has a Dell laptop and I myself own an Acer Netbook and an iPhone, both of which successfully connect to wireless internet. It seems that my system that is having this problem.

I spoke with representatives of Dell's Support more + 5 times and nothing has solved this problem. They simply tell me it's a software problem and I have to buy something System Repair for $100 + (even after having spend $600 on a warranty, which apparently doesn't cover that material).

Obviously, I can connect to via an ethernet/cable connection, but not wireless. It's not that the connection is not displayed, it shows and said it connects, but I only have 'Local' go. If there is more information that I can give to make this easier to understand, please let me know. I'll post the Windows IP Configuration if necessary to help solve this problem.

    Hello

Since the update of the driver did not work I would return the system back to factory
as suggested in my response above. After the revision updated the WiFi driver again. If this
does not work then it's material. If necessary, you can disable the built-in WiFi and
use a device of WiFi add-on.

    I hope this helps.

  • SMART TOUCH 320

my cursor moves to the left when not use and won't let me type unless I move the mouse. Ive tried safe mode and ran the protection against viruses and no change. He is also in safe mode. Ive no difference, also reset factory and another mouse wireless, replace the batteries. any ideas?

Use a damp cloth to clean the underside of the mouse. Especially the Red small part brilliant in the Center. In addition, the touch technology on this PC could be a part of these and he uses cameras in the top corners and right of the screen. You have a brilliant infrared band inside the lip of the screen that reads the camera. Take a damp soft (just) slightly wet and clean gently around the inside edge of the screen. That should help him.

  • ProBook 4530 s: wi - di was good on win7, not on the win10 update, and not on "go back" win 7

OK guys, this may be the wrong forum, here goes. Thanks in advance.

Wi - Di was good during the original installation of win7pro 64-bit.

Weekend Christmas 2015, about a month ago, I updated this laptop to win10.

A few days ago, I needed to use the Wi - Di feature. He had disappeared.

I did a 'return' to win 7, because less than a month later, just less than a month.

Immediately after the round trip, Wi - Di was still missing. A Wi - Fi connection has always worked.

After doing a lot of driver changes, proset wireless and changes software widi, nada.

It's still complaining that the platform is not compatible & and/or other messages of "you can do that."

Then... I think to uninstall all software related & pilot and repeating this part.

But the win10 update changes something else that I'm missing, which causes this behavior?

Someone had a similar problem and maybe a fix?

    Thanks for listening.

    Hi WAWood,

Thanks for your suggestions. I had another conversation on the forum of intel who gave advice that helped me solve the problem. I write most of this and my answer in the hope of sparks of ideas and help others to a similar question.

This is part of what was to aleki_intel:

    2. download and save download Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows file name * 7/8-64-bit: win64_152824.zip
    3. download and save download Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and drivers for Windows 7 * file name: Wireless_18.21.0_s64.exe
    4. download and save the Download Intel® Wireless Display software for windows
    5. go in Control Panel, programs and features and uninstall "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software", if it is installed. When prompted, choose the option "ignore parameters".
    6. also in programs and features, uninstall Intel® WiDi software.
    7. in the Panel configuration, Manager of devices, network adapters, right-click on the Intel® Centrino® Advanced - N 6230 and uninstall it. Make sure that you select the option 'delete the driver for this device '.
8 restart the PC or search the hardware changes, check the Device Manager and if an older driver is detected and installed, repeat actions to uninstall and remove as well. Repeat this process until the operating system does not allow to delete the driver, or until the controller shows as unknown device.
    9. also in devices, Graphics Manager, uninstall the Intel® HD Graphics, also select the option 'delete the driver for this device '.
    10. restart or find the hardware changes, then uninstall and remove older versions of driver as you did for the wireless adapter.
11 install the graphic driver Intel® downloaded before.
    12. install the driver Intel® Wireless. During the early stages of the PROSet/Wireless installation, make sure you customize the installation and install all components of 3 pilot because they improve the WiDi feature.
13 install the Pro Intel® WiDi software.

    And my response to him:

    Hey aleki_intel,

My WiDi works now. Woo - hoo! ..... Is there something in your message that was a clue of what actually went.
    Here is what has been:
I could not the graphics driver to load. I was using the .exe version and it was bailing out without installing all components.

You listed a .zip version. I gave a test, but he was still not completely happy.
After more research my backup HARD drive, where I put older drivers, I found win64_15282.zip.
It must have been those I've used originally when I bought the card wireless replacement for WiDi goes.
Who went right and completed without incident. After that, everything went one-two-three.
Thanks for the tip and the simplicity.

    Thank you.

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem
    • restarted several times without success

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    krdav4446,
We could use a little more information on this issue.  What version of XP and service pack are you running?  If something has changed on your system recently (hardware or software)?  Have you tried another mouse?  What happens when you try to start safe mode?  Do you get any error messages?

    Here are some delicious dishes.

If the mouse is USB, try another port (do not pass through a USB hub).

If the mouse is wireless, replace the batteries.

  • Help with WRT54GS on FiOS (ethernet, no coaxial cable)

Hey guys, I'm new here and just try to get help with this insoluble problem that I started having with my Linksys WRT54GS and Verizon FiOS last week.

To simplify my story complete and real question here, I put it all points to try to make it simpler to understand:

-In the fall of 2007, I switch from Comcast to Verizon FiOS after getting screwed on waiting for two weeks and never get a new router, that one was fried in a storm

-Little brother spills the first Actiontec router and it breaks

Actiontec wireless - replacement of the router is non-existent (MI42WR)

-After trying fill the Linksys for the Actiontec, it turns out to be a pain much more than a real solution to the lack of wireless

-Past of the coaxial cable to the full ethernet cat5 last year to use Linksys WRT54GS
-Fortunately directly connected to ONTARIO to Linksys WRT54GS via ethernet cat5 for a year while the wireless is perfect for other computers

    (last week)

-Off router Linksys for a night the week last to give him a night's rest
N ' unable to connect to Verizon with WRT54GS old or new router WRT54GL (which I'm now back)

-HAVE ethernet light outside still has a green light indicating that it is working
-Do not fill the Actiontec and Linksys again
-I don't want to go back to the use of the Actiontec for what anyone, but stuck with it for now
-A reset the router, computer connection and DHCP has published many times, but nothing helps

-A updated my WRT54GS firmware before you type this and still nothing

-No connection to any Linksys router, but the works of Actiontec

I can't think of a solution except maybe try one of another company, as D-Link... (sad face) I'm already back the new router Monday, since I don't believe that my WRT54GS is broken even if it is not connected. If I don't think that maybe Verizon has done something that is not allowing one of my Linksys routers to connect, because fortunately, they started to charge me an extra $10-12 on FiOS bill without notice. Although at this stage, I have a hard time believing that even switch to another router company and use their products will do everything for me...

Right now, I am suffering with this router Verizon terrible stock and my parents and aunt are complained about these last two weeks. I hope that someone here knows what may be the real problem that can sound with little assistance.

Ah, found the solution work for a guy who had exactly the same problem as me, but with a D-Link router.

"The best solution is to go to the ethernet connections and click Cancel, the green light on the actiontec to go yellow, unplug it in this State." Disconnect the battery power and the BBU. Put the new router in place, reconnect battery and BBU, then taken power for the new router.

Just releasing and switching router should work but if it is not these steps work. »

Thank you for at least trying to help me to abandoned.

  • My Wi - Fi becomes disconnected at intervals

    Hello

Since we had our router wireless replaced 2 weeks ago, my laptop at home (with windows 7) has had intermittent wireless connectivity. When I first start the laptop and internet surfing I have no problem, but every 5-10 minutes stop loading page and an exclamation point yellow appears on my wireless connection icon, which indicates that I have no internet access. When I right click the icon and select "solve problems", I connected again in a minute or 2. However, 5-10 minutes more later I usually met the same problem with the yellow exclamation mark on the wireless icon.

Here are the 2 errors (sometimes two, sometimes one or the other) that are displayed each time I touched troubleshoot:

The connection between your access point, router or cable modem and the Internet is broken.

Problem with access point or wireless adapter.

The fact that my work laptop (with windows 7) can be connected to the same network wireless for long periods without problem indicates that this is not a problem with the network. Could someone please share their ideas on how I can solve this problem of continuous disconnections?

If you want to make sure that you will be able to get the Apple support in case of problems or questions with your backups, you must use the wireless Time Capsule to back up your Mac.

As long as the time Capsule provides a wireless signal, you can decide who to your 'main' network, then use it wireless Uverse for "guest", or children. If you do not need the Uverse router/modem wireless at all, it is possible to turn off wireless on the device and make it work only as a support modem/router...with Uverse wired.

At this point, you can start thinking about how you want to configure things and get back in touch if you need some advice on how to do it.  We need to know what operating system that uses the Mac that you normally use to administer the time Capsule, provide good instructions, if you need it.

Can I replace the wireless card Realtec RTL8723BE in this notebook with capable of 5G wireless?

    Hi there @vht1951,

I understand that you are looking for more information on the issue of whether a module compatible to add the functionality of dual band for your laptop is available.

Looking at the: HP Pavilion Notebook PC - Maintenance and Service of Guide from the support page for your model, page 3 (13 of 94 in the pdf file), it enumerates wireless adapters, which is: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 802.11 ac 1 x 1 WiFi + BT Combo Adapter 4.2.

If you find your model on the HP parts store, the part is listed as: '806723-005 Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 802.11 ac 1 x 1 WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 combination WLAN fit' and is currently listed as for the remainder.

You can check the site later to see the availability or the other site HP Partsurfer, to see if you there is a seller who might already own part.

I hope that helps and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

AFAIK there is no limitation of the motherboard.

But the Draft N needs 3 son antenna the usual 802.11 A, B or G supports 2-wire antenna WLan. So, in my view, this could be a problem.
