Wireless USB adapter 3com model # 3CRUSB10075 not recognized by win7

I connect to the web from my PC using the USB wireless adapter.
I got a USB wireless adapter, 3Com® OfficeConnect® model product # 3CRUSB10075 Wireless 54 Mbps 11g Compact USB.
Adapter does not work after that the PC was upgraded to win 7
Victory cannot regonzie adapter, and I can't access the internet.
I tried to install the lates 6.3.3.2 driver version, version of the 3.0.0.1x utility - but are not lacking.

I have not checked on the 3com site any other version of the driver available, and no version to fit with win7 is available.

Seems I have to go back to XP or buy a new adapter :(

Anu do knows where to find the driver of fascination?

If they have a Vista driver, that should work, but if the adapter goes back to the days of XP and no further forward, you will probably need to get something more recent.

I have a Belkin N Wireless USB Adapter model # F5D8053 which works fine in XP. Windows 7 installed and the drivers install fine (latest version of the drivers on their site) but after a while, the connection drops and the icon near the clock says no connection.

It is likely there is no wireless driver, but the drivers of the USB chipset at fault. You could try Vista Compatiility mode for those.

  • Problems with wireless USB adapter. Icon missing "Wireless network connection".

I recently got a laptop HD malfunction cause me to start my PC from 2004. I bought a Belkin N150 Wireless USB adapter to connect to the internet connectivity. During the installation, I do not get a "Wireless network connection" icon I am running Windows XP SP3. I installed the same USB adapter on a computer running Windows XP SP2 and it works fine. I plugged it in my desktop PC and it just doesn't work! Even with my router disconnected I should still be able to see other networks WiFi available in the range (I live in a community of apartment) as he worked on the other computer it elsewhere too. I double checked the drivers, reboot the cable modem, so that appropriate services were activated and still no dice. I have read forums and I'm almost at the point of paying MS for technical support services, but it's really just my last step before I shell out money for professional help. Notice to lovers? =)

    Hello

Well, at this point, you should make an executive decision.

If you think that someone will take just guilt because it's comfortable, it is not going to happen.

If a new card that is known to work does not work, then you can try to re - install Windows.

One of the differences between computer enthusiasts and regular users is the availability of the material. I have a set of wireless router, network cards, etc. that are known to be good.

The components are used for the sole purpose of trying them temporarily on the troubled computers to rule out hardware problems.

  • Discs non powered hub USB not recognized by Win7

I have a HP dv7 works Win7. An external hub in which is connected to a powered external disc and three-disc powered only by USB.

Until the last Windows Update or so all readers were recognized and listed in Windows Explorer with the appropriate drive letters. Now, as well on the original hub, I had (Staples brand) and a new, I bought the hub of thought had failed (plugable 7 port USB2-HUB-AG7), the player plugged into the hub continues to be recognized by Win7, but none of the non-powered drives are.

If I unplug the hub and plug the 4 external drives into the same USB port on the HP computer previously used by the hub, they are all recognized by the appropriate drive letters and all files are visible.

    This sequence tells me:

    1. the USB port on my laptop isn't the problem: any connected external drive port is correctly read by Win7.

    2. the hub is not the problem: the probability of a former pole and a new hub failed in exactly the same way is small.

    3. There is something different about external drives with independent power supply and USB-powered drives it is relevant.

    Ideas/suggestions?

    Hello Nora,.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. Do you remember the number of Windows update that you installed before the show?
    2. Have you tried plugging the hub in all other ports? If yes was the result even?
    3. Have you tried to use the hub on another computer? If yes was the same result, and if not please try to do and check out the State.
    4. What is the make and model no HUB?

According to your description, it seems that any external device working properly as well as ports. As you mentioned that the question remains her even after plugging the new hub means there may be a chance that the necessary drivers for the hub work is missing or damaged. So I would ask update you the drivers and see if it helps.

  • Nighthawk R8500, USB 3.0 Flash drive not recognized USB 3.0 Port, Port of only 2.0

My Nighthawk R8500 router with the latest firmware, V1.0.2.54_1.0.56, does not recognize my SanDisk Ultra Fit 128 GB USB 3.0 Flash drive when it is connected to the router USB 3.0 Port. The Ultra Fit is formatted in FAT32 and works fine when plugged into USB Port 2.0 router or my laptop.

At first, I thought maybe USB 3.0 Port on my router wasn't working at all, but it recognizes my SanDisk 16 GB Cruzer USB 2.0 Flash Drive that is also formatted FAT 32. Unfortunately both my laptop have USB 2.0 Ports, so I don't know if the problem is with the router or the Ultra Fit Flash Drive. Everyone knows about this problem of their Flash 3.0 player is not recognized in USB 3.0 Port their router, especially with a SanDisk Ultra Fit? This problem can be resolved through firmware? I'd really like to take full advantage of the speed of USB 3.0 as I like to share files through my router via ReadyShare and ReadyCloud.

Thanks in advance for any help, Carlos

Technical support with me. Installation of a updated firmware, V1.0.2.64_1.0.62, which became available shortly after my post, solved the problem. -Carlos

  • now my USB is protected, it is not recognized in writing

my USB is not recognized, and when it is to be determined it is write protected. I tried to re-formatting it but its write protected and it does not work. I tried to copy my files to my pc and then remove them but write protected and no it's not be recognized which is more than a kick in the nuts for me lol.  I use XP and windows 7 at home, at College and I tried run / devmnger... thing and does not work either. Anyone who has an idea, it would be much appreciated. Dave.

I have seen this before... to be honest I just threw the USB off as they fairly cheap these days. I suspected it was a problem with the chip of the card controller I've tried all kinds of things to do work, formatting, disassemble, check disk etc.

  • HELP linksys wireless USB adapter: (model # WUSB54GC) "acquiring network address" not actually connect to the internet! ?? Windows xp pro

Hello. Ive been at this for 4 days now, I can't find a solution. I'll try to remember as much as possible regarding what ive tried.

    here goes...

long story short, due to unfortunate system errors, I have reinstalled my OS XP home to xp pro. PC works great now! problem is... now my wireless adapter wont connect to the internet.

When I had xp home edition installed, I could just plug in the adapter, and a few seconds, it would connect to the favorite network. (with all settings on Auto) no problem.

now that ive put in OS, it's just cycling "absorbing the network address" infinitely...

his watch the access point, the preferred network, showing the signal strength and do not show errors in Device Manager. right-click and choosing fix do not work. It gets stuck @ renewing IP address scene. its not send or receive packets under status.

He EXPECTED to be functional? It uses a 10-digit WEP key.

Ive tried both the linksys wireless monitor and the windows zero configuration utilites.i since removed the lynksys software screen because it never worked anyway. WZC is that used to work on xp family.

I used " ipconfig/all" to determine the values of the network on the host pc. I tried manually punching in those values (IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS settings, according to the suggestion of a networking of friends) on the adapter wireless itself; using tci/ip options. still does not connect.

Ive tried different USB ports, all that seems to do is to change the number of the wireless connection.

It just does not connect to the internet.

I have the driver I need for this after contacting linksys. I also disabled windows firewall and the firewall/antivirus of 3rd party associated with the network.

He knows questions w / windows xp professional and this particular wireless adapter? (WUSB54GC) that's the only reason why I can think of that is not connected.

what I forget? internet hard wiring of an ethernet port is not an option because there is no ethernet card installed in the pc.

any help is greatly appreciated in advance.

    Thank you.

Sorry it took so long for me to return.

It was a setting under working group which had to be adjusted from reinstalling windows. (something that has been disabled I forgot, don't remember what it was since its been like 3 weeks)

that he got the running dhcp... That is to say. allowed 4 dependence to work progrmas, boom, problem solved.

the adapter now works with the automatic settings, using WEP encryption. as it should, and it was.

Thank you very much for the replies, I appreciated the help.
