  Is the adapter essbase first on the list in the Workbench, so it turns out that the 'Default' to FDM adapter? (maybe that's why you don't see it in the adapter list slots)?

• Failed to retrieve system Data Error with Essbase

  Hi all

  I get an error connecting to the target, Essbase system, indicating that 'impossible to recover the data of the target system.'   Here are the specs of my installation:

  FDM - 11.1.2.2

  Essbase - 11.1.2.2

  OS - Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit Windows

  SQL - 2008 R2

  FDM adapter - ESS11X64-J

  I've tried several things:

  (1) adapter saved again

  (2) check the parameters for integration-

  (a) machine profile - all going ot the same machine, which means Essbase and FDM are installed on the same machine.  This is a dev box.

  (b) Essbase Integration - app Essbase, db name, method of connection 2-Global = Essbase and the configuration of the dimensions to match exactly with my Essbase cube.  I tried with and without the domain name, but not luck.

  (c) size - make sure that mirror my Essbase cube Dimension names.  Active checked, use the list and the value label for each Sun

  (3) checked RTC Essbase

  People advice?  Thanks in advance!

  I use Essbase 9.3.1 version and you want to create the model OLAP with the Integration Services Console. I would be very grateful if you could help me model the following secnario:
  I have a fact table with two columns (example ManagerId and EmployeeId) referenced to the same dimension table (say the Employee table). How do I replicate this for create an OLAP model in the integration Service Console please?
  I could create a separate definition user (copy of the Employee table) Table and join ManagerID from the table of facts to this new table. But I don't know how it would affect the performance of the cube.

  You should be able to drag the table in a second time, to give a different alias, then connect it to the other Member of the fact table.

  I think that the way you were trying to go about it was wrong to give you the expected results because you want the integration to treat these two columns independently.

• Easy VPN with LDAP integration

  Hello!

  Currently I have an EASY VPN server on a Cisco 2911 with LDAP integration to authenticate the user.

  Everything works well except for one aspect. When you try to connect to the VPN (IPSec Client), the user is prompted for the credentials that are in this case their domain credentials. When the user places the identification information is immediately invite you for it again and again for about 1 minute. Then their and the VPN is in place.

  When I check the logs, I can't see him connect LDAP ranging down to connect to to the top.

  My question is if there is a way to make the LDAP connection, stand or accelerate this process.

  I had a long discussion with BU some time previously, if the LDAP protocol is in fact a taken AAA mechanism supported with ezvpn.

  To which (at the time) they said 'no '.

  We have therefore tabled a documentation bug:

  I did a number of tests, on my layout for 1024 x 768 for export FLX... and here's what worked:

  If I put simply an audio file on my default frame page is x 60px banner 60px banner and a large part of the skin of the controller is cut when exporting, so you cannot control the music.

  It wasn't until I expanded the setting of at least 100 x 100px I could see the controller volume and the entire skin on the exported epub and control the audio file in the epub. I'll work with it.

  It would be nice if we could control the appearance and proportions of the cursor controller, skin and volume ID as the skins of square 100 x 100 px black look rather imposing a cleanly designed page... but I did not search which still.

• Essbase Integration does not connect to my second Essbase instance installed on port 1424

  Dear Experts,

  I'm working on 11.1.2.2 version of Essbase Integration Services on Windows 2008 R2 Service pack 1.

  Today when I try to build the schema via EIS on my second instance of Essbase (configured on port 1424) I get the following error:

  "Unable to connect to the Essbase server: servername:1424 (error # 1030818).

  (Note that this instance of first default Essbase 1423 port)

  I'm able to generate contour when in the window of connection of Essbase of IST,

  I give server name as 'servername:1423' that is to say my first instance Essbase.

  But higher error happens when I give the name of the server as "servername:1424".

  An idea on how to get this resolved.

  Ah... His second Instance Essbase,.

  Although the OPMN of this 2nd instance is in the started state, but Essbase did not,

  so I restarted the machine and also replaced the SEC for Second Instance of trial file...

  Now I'm able to generate outlines of study of environmental impact for this 2nd instance.
