  Is your photo library in iCloud online? If so you can just leave Photos download photos on the new computer. First, open your pictures folder and delete the photo library. Don't forget to empty the trash.

• Mail of the Mac Mini, iMac with the migration wizard

  I have a mac mini (2014 - El Capitan) that I have used for some time now and I have many mailboxes (30 +) with many stored messages (100s maybe 1000s).

  I recently picked up a 2011 27 iMac which is running OS X Sierra Final Release Candidate due to vision problems.

  Both units are working well but I would like to transfer my boxes to the letters, messages, and the account settings from the Mac Mini to the iMac using Migration Assistant to take advantage of the larger screen.

  Am I able to select only the data for e-mail (boxes letters, messages and settings) to transfer somewhere in the Migration Wizard interface or will it just to start the transfer of all?

  I use iCloud for note, calendars and contacts, but prefer not to use for e-mail.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The simplest option would be to use Time Machine to restore your data.

  Other Options:

  You can export the folders you want to transfer the mini using export of Mail under mailbox function in the Menu bar > export a mailbox... Drag to the folder on the desktop on the new iMac and import in Mail. File > import boxes mailbox...

  You can also use a third-party application, Emailchemy to export your Mail on the mini and pull only the folders you want and import. If you have many files, it would be a faster option.

  Otherwise, you could drag on the whole Mail > V3 folder let Sierra update data. This assumes that you have already started using Mail to Sierra.

  You don't have to use iCloud email to use Apple Mail. I strongly suggest that you use IMAP to service what ever you choose to use.  Comcast, Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, Hotmail (other)

  I'm moving to an iMac to a MacBook Pro. Both are updated to newer OSX. Both have firewalls off the coast. I have them connected with an Ethernet cable and followed the instructions from Apple to find out how. The MacBook sees the iMac, I choose that it, but I get a message saying that it cannot connect to the iMac and make sure both computers are on and connected to WiFi even, be they. On Migration Asst window on the iMac it does not show the new MacBook, just wheel spinning guard. What is the problem? OR does the same thing to back up from a Time Machine backup? If I have not excluded anything, a backup TimeMach will have my entire photo library, installed apps, just the same as if I migrated directly from the Mac? What should I do?

  Have you enabled the sharing of files on the iMac? Have you taken the course of MA for transfer via Ethernet?

After having successfully captured the model DB in SQL Server and Oracle conversion, when the tool generates scripts, all ALTER TABLE queries that add pharmacokinetics and the FKs have their columns duplicate targets.

  I tried a few things like
  capturing twice and rename the two models of the same
  Rename the converted templates
  but without success.
  I think that this problem occurs is in the capture phase or convert.

  (1) you perform the capture online or offline?
  (2) can provide you a DDL together for one of these tables and the indexes to see if I can reproduce?
  (3) made of capture or convert fail or be again at any stage?

  I all else fails I would attempt a capture and convert again using a new repository (create a new schema in Oracle and associate him the migration repository).

  Second question: what is the best way to migrate user profiles in this scenario?  I tested using the Easy Transfer Wizard and withdrawal from the old domain and join the new, but this takes time and seems that there is a better way to move these user profiles to point to the appropriate field without the many hours of data transfer.

  I have a two hosts VSphere environment. Each physical host has two NIC currently, I have a host in a subnet and a host on a different subnet. Each host has it's own standard VSwitch. I can ping and route between subnets but the DNS servers are completely separated at the moment. I would like to create a vDS that spans two hosts without losing network connectivity. Is this possible? It would simply create two ports with properly configured uplinks?

  How you have configured "Teaming and Failover" in the settings of the distributed port group? Can you confirm that only appropriate uplink groups are active and the uplink for the other subnet group is moved down to the unused uplinks.

  I understand your dilemma, if it's any help, but I can't tell you how Apex crypt passwords, which would be a security problem.

  There is always the possibility to reset the passwords to the new random values and send the new password to the users.

  If these are end users and you need to keep 2 or more spaces to work in sync, maybe you should switch to a custom authentication scheme where you have more control. I just posted an example of an authentication plugin function in another thread:

Unfortunately Mozilla Addons page now opens when I click on firefox. These modules can be very useful in the future, but I'm not to bother with them now. I would like to now how to remove this page so that it is not open and restore what I had before. P.S. I had to try to eliminate Ask.com according to the instructions... with pictures even. Hard to find for Apple.
