• Work with Lr from a NAS

  I have a NAS (Network Attached Storage) that I use to store all my photos for the backup. However, I was wondering if I could have Lr directly until the NAS rather than keep the files on my original hard drive (running out of space quickly). My NAS has mirrored of drives so if one goes down, I always have a back-up.

  1 NAS Synology 216 readers to play with 2x3GB

  Remote-app on my iOS devices so that I can change the music on the stereo without a computer

  Everything is connected to the same WiFi of course

  I want to spend my whole library iTunes into ONE on the NAS and then I want to

  (1) in order to access all the music on all computers

  2 (a) be able to add more music

  (b) sometimes I need to change the title of a song/album details may change the genre or add words etc.

  What happens if you try to open one without iTunes? That has really nothing to do at all with iTunes?  If this isn't the case, then you would probably get a wider range of people experienced with problems of general network on a forum for you use the version of the system.

• iTunes Ripping from CD to NAS

  Hi there, apologies as I'm sure this has been answered in some form several times but I can't find too specific a question (s). I have a MacBook (OSX) and a DLINK NAS talk to one another. I would like to ship ripping my CD collection, so I have digital versions available, allowing me to use a number of services (iTunes, Sonos etc.), with files on the NAS itself.

  Everyone likes the idea of SIN, Sonos, etc., but in reality, iTunes and NAS don't like each other and can cause unexpected problems. Not always, but when it happens, you'll be one very unhappy announcement back here.

  I just traded all four 2 TB HDD in my iomega with 3 TB Seagate NAS drives. It was RAID 5 and I swapped each three days. All reconstructions of data protection took place without a hitch.

  What version of the firmware on your ix4 - 200 d? You may need to do a factory reset of the web interface, which is destructive of data. When replacing all readers to improve the storage capacity, usually data are saved and removed from the unit, then transferred to the unit after the upgrade.   It is always better to work on a file from local disk Muse. If your current workflow is correct.

  If you try to open the file of the Muse of SIN and to work with it directly, you run the risk of ending up with a corrupted file, if there is no blip in communication networks during the recording of the file.

  want the ups to shut down the VM with elegance on the NAS, then stop the ESXi server gracefully.

  I can plug a UPS into the NAS via USB and have the SIN 'shutdown' but I know not if that normally stops the virtual machine first then ESXi server?

  I have not idea what to use for the ESXi server. It can be as simple as connect a USB to a UPS in the ESXi server and configure something in vSphere but I "just guessing

  We are seriosly thought about the posibility to define ESXI - Hypervisor - with Iomega ix2-200 NAS. We were check the official documentation for Iomega. I checked that ix2-200 is supported for ESXI 4.0, but we are not sure if pressed for ESX 5.0.
  Someone knows this product is compatible with VMware? I have not found any associated IX2-200 and Esxi 5.0

  If it is not on the HCL, this is not supported.

  However, it works very well (I run it every day).  This is not supported because most suppliers are not going in the effort to verify support for N - 2 equipment.

  If the support is important to you, why not pick up a px4/px6 supported?

  Be very careful with QNAP NAS storage, last weekend that I struggled with TS-419U Turbo NAS and ESX 3.5 U5, without success.

  I was able to connected ESX iscsi Software initiator LUN, I was able to create VMFS on it, but when I was trying to copy/vmdk on new LUN creation - process could not complete.

  On vSphere this NAS works fine but with ESX3.5 I couldn't force it to cooperate

• Reader Adobe cs4 can be used on a NAS

  I'm using Adobe CS4 of Prem Prod.  I also acquired a 4 TB for use network storage device with my video media storage.  I am interested to know if I can implement Version Cue to be used on the NAS.  I had problems so far trying to connect to the NAS by trying to connect to the NAS server manually.  I can find the NAS on the network through the bridge, but think it might be faster if I can connect reader adobe for it instead.

  I advise to use the NAS to archive storage.

  As an experiment, I've implemented a DV project with assets on the NAS (all the rest of my workstation). It's gigabit NAS via a 1000/100 switch. Speed of access was horrible. After some testing, I dropped completely.

  I would recommend just copy the assets of the NAS on your internal HARD disk and editing here.

  Hi I'm still stuck with Firefox and their nasa night launch addon - belt LavaFox & BlackFox Orions w / Grim Reaper (one who is all black, no shit bar gray and the drop-down boxes are black with white writing), it's the best setup I like for my computer and I've just updated to the new firefox and it is incompatible? I tried to download the other launch night nasa and that ' s when I got pissy gray bar and white drop-down boxes (shit) so I had to remove firefox and download a previous version of 2014 to correct the problem and disable all future updates.
  How you do this? you boast of personalization and are never compatible previous addons, that I don't want any other addons that this ive got! I think it's the best it is its completely black all the boxes included and somehow you will find it is too hard to make sure that all the addons have a single line of code that is also added to your updates, so they all work together and now I can't update and continue my experience with firefox now I am looking for the alternative browser options that give me what I like and allow me to keep it because it is always, unless I'm finding that you took my situation seriously and we will integrate the compatibility section of addon for all the new updates.

  You were able to use this theme through 41 of Firefox, but it stopped working in Firefox 42?

  I think others have mentioned problems with the complete themes in Firefox 42, but I don't remember the details. I hope an update will come.

  In the meantime, rather than running a version with known security vulnerabilities, you might consider another variant of Firefox called the Extended Support Release (ESR). It is currently based on Firefox 38 with a few security updates. It is unlikely to have any change relating to the compatibility of the Add on, until next year.

  If you decide to try it, here's how I suggest to install:

  Clean reinstall it

  We use this name, but it isn't about deleting your settings, this is to ensure that the program, files are clean (not incompatible, corrupt or exotic code files). As described below, this process does not disrupt your existing settings. Don't uninstall NOT Firefox, that does not need.

  (A) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 38.4.0esr of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

  (B) the release of Firefox (if any).

  (C) to rename the program folder, either:

  (Windows 64-bit folder names)

  C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
  

  TO

  C:\Program Files (x86)\FxOld
  

  (Windows 32-bit folder names)

  C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
  

  TO

  C:\Program Files\FxOld
  

  (D) run the installer downloaded to (A). It should automatically connect to your existing settings.
