  You may lose everything.  iMessage, like most e-mail services, don't keep permanently undeliverable messages.  They only keep in the short period send queue (I don't know exactly how much time but some Apple tech sites indicate no more than 10 days to two weeks) until they are purged.  That's pretty standard as otherwise, large volume, messaging services would be sitting on tera-bytes of messages not delivered each month.

  .mts files are produced by recording AVCHD cameras.  It is generally recommended to import from a full set of AVCHD (camera, SD card or copy of SD card) but the latest version of iMovie also allows drag-and - drop files individual .mts directly into iMovie or the project timeline event.

  No, because if you bought a new iPhone, then you need a SIM card to activate it before you can use the wifi applications.

  This is a phone after all, you don't need a sim card any to be able to activate it.

  Looks like you may have ejected from the SD card until all files have been copied to iMovie.  In fact I never use import to all but drag and drop files directly from the SD card mounted to an iMovie event.  This way an id that the files were transferred.

  I'm looking for a reliable way to do the following, without lugging my computer on a + 2 weeks of vacation:

  • Upload photos from the SD and MicroSD card to my iPad.  Do NOT delete these photos from an SD card.
  • Have these photos then back-up for the cloud - iCloud or Dropbox would be OK, even though I prefer Dropbox (due to Rat Pack feature).
  • Then easily remove copies of the iPad (because otherwise I'll fill the disc).  I expect to take thousands of pictures... I don't want to have to select each of the 1000 + photos step by step to remove iPad tehm.
  • Be sure that these photos REMAIN in iCloud or Dropbox once they are removed from the iPad to 100%.

  This would allow me to a) have my pictures saved on SD card AND save them in the cloud b) share photos while on the road and c) do not run out of space on the iPad.

  I was in the Apple store today and TWO employees told me there is no way to do that today.  To remove images of the iPad, you must click on each image to select it before deleting.   Apple... it must be a user script which is VERY VERY common.  Please, I beg you! It is time to remedy.

  If someone in the community has any workaround or the same backup solutions that work without using the iPad (is there a portable HD which will automatically copy what is on my SD card even)?  I greet you all useful information.   In your photos app, when you press to select, you can select the value of a whole day of pictures, you don't have to exploit each. It depends on the view.

  What do you think should work. If you remove photos of your photos app they will be removed from your photos in iCloud, but dropbox is different.

  A card having a chance to be accepted it must be registered with the same name and address (including the format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and, therefore, the country that sits on your iTunes account). According to anadtech and other techys the only way to do an ExpressCard hd is updated the BIOS. During the installation of Windows it says that it canoe on the device because the BIOS is not able to boot from it.

  Toshiba creates a new BIOS to allow starting the expresscard hd or not Toshiba have a laptop model that will allow already, as im thinking of buying a new laptop but only if this option is available.

  I never heard that it is possible to boot from an SD card so I doubt that. The BIOS doesn't support and an update of the BIOS will not add this feature.

  Sorry, but if you want to boot from a Linux system, you must use the USB, CD/DVD disc or HARD drive.

  If you have the SD card reader and a player like the Kingston WiDrive wireless, you may be able to transfer the pictures to the iPad then the iPad on this disc.

  If you have wifi, you could look for something like Flickr. You can download high or full resolution photos and store them here, then download them when you get home
