Withdrawal from an SD card

I put an SD card in my slate and I find it difficult to recover. I can assemble and disassemble the SD card, but I can't physically take the SD card in the SD slot. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hello

Please try just gently push it a little and release. It should come out.

Kind regards.

You may lose everything.  iMessage, like most e-mail services, don't keep permanently undeliverable messages.  They only keep in the short period send queue (I don't know exactly how much time but some Apple tech sites indicate no more than 10 days to two weeks) until they are purged.  That's pretty standard as otherwise, large volume, messaging services would be sitting on tera-bytes of messages not delivered each month.

You actually have to change my phone number?  If not, let alone sign and only in iMessage when you have the new phone with this set of numbers upward to the service.

  • Is possible an application on Macbook from a sd card?

Is possible an application on Macbook from a sd card?

    Hello

    Yes the theory.

For example a lot of background are functions of the operating system is of applications from disk hard/system/library/Core Services

This means that applications must be located in the Applications folder.

The Applications/Utilities folder also has more available apps which are used from time to time.

After that it depends on the type of application and what it may require is also installed to function.

Some applications have elements in support of the request

As said way bars are in Library/Application Support.

There is another user only App in ~/Library/Application Support.

In some cases, additional frames are added.

For example only only three of those used by Messages

After that, it comes down to how this App tip then to these extra bits.

Some explicitly the path to the file they need.  Others assume they are in the 'right' place and give simple instructions "upward both files and then give a path."

If the application is not where it is expected that he can not get updated.

If iChat in previous versions of OS and the message is moved to another folder in Applications, say it is called Instant Messages and contains all mail applications, then the update process will not see.

It is true of several other Apple applications.

In the case of iTunes and Photos concerned libraries can be moved somewhere else so that the application has need of. (your library is not in the app itself, it refers to points of storage in music or photos)

Small simple applications could be run from an insert SD card or a USB key

Realistically the answer is not that simple.

Try it and see the probably the best advice.

  • can I import files from an SD card mts in Imovie

    Hello

I'm looking for a good application, easy and cheap for my mac.

To edit video files and create a mp4 file.

I get cards sd with the MTS files and you want an application that can import directly.

I can't find any information if the latest version of Imovie supports importing MTS files from an SD card.

Someone on this forum can help me?

Or do you know a good alternative for Imovie import STDs, edit video, use the features of simple enchancing and export to mp4.

We hope to get a response.

    Conrad

    The Netherlands

.mts files are produced by recording AVCHD cameras.  It is generally recommended to import from a full set of AVCHD (camera, SD card or copy of SD card) but the latest version of iMovie also allows drag-and - drop files individual .mts directly into iMovie or the project timeline event.

  • My old iphone 6s is completely broken, it does not or registry that it is connected when plugged into a computer. I'm able to recover photos from the SIM card with an adapter USB SIM card or through any other way?

My old iphone 6s is completely broken, it does not or registry that it is connected when plugged into a computer. I'm able to recover photos from the SIM card with an adapter USB SIM card or through any other way? I also do not save anything with AllAccess, icloud, or through my computer as you would with a digital camera.

The photos are not stored on the sims, sorry.

You can always try the Recovery Mode, little to lose at this point. If it doesn't, I suggest taking it to an Apple Store for testing.

    Recovery mode:

    Turn off your iOS device.

Plug charge cable to the computer only (not to the device yet).

    Open iTunes on your computer.

Hold the button to power on your device and do not let go.

Plug the cable into the device while keeping the power button.

Wait for the computer to detect the device and wait that he eat.

Restore as New first, then restore sauvegardΘ if you wish.

  • NB510 - boot from the SD card?

    Hello

I have a question related to booting from SD cards.
As my NB510 has no optical device, I thought to use an SD with Linux on it to boot from.

The reason is that sometimes I need Linux and I don't wan to lose my Windows partition or another partition of my HDD with a 2nd OS.

My experience is that more than one OS at a disk always causes unnecessary trouble.
Unfortunately, it seems that the NB510 does not boot from the SD card.

I created it with the Toshiba SD Memory Format Utility and "UNetbootin" to create a card with the last OpenSUSE Linux.

When, in from the laptop and press F2 (or F12), all available drives be filed - but not my SD card (Yes, it was inserted). BIOS Insyde H2O also doesn't seem to provide the SD card as boot drive.

So is it possible to get my NB 510 booting from SD card?

    Greetings from the Germany

    Hello

Why you boot from the USB flash key t n?
As much as I know the NB510 support the start of disk HARD primary, Network (LAN), USB, USB HDD and USB WEIRD memory.

If booting from USB is certainly possible.

  • I just bought an Iphone 6s and not yet am possession of en from the Sim Card. Ook, do you know if I can use the phone including applications via Wifi and put the chip later? Thank you. Renault JL

I just bought an Iphone 6s and not yet am possession of en from the Sim Card. Ook, do you know if I can use the phone including applications via Wifi and put the chip later? Thank you. Renault JL

No, because if you bought a new iPhone, then you need a SIM card to activate it before you can use the wifi applications.

This is a phone after all, you don't need a sim card any to be able to activate it.

  • Problems importing the files from an SD card to iMovie

After I have import files from an SD card to version 10.1.1 iMovie I have a problem when I eject the SD card then some of the files show just like a question mark (?) and some of the files are saved. I've never had this happen before that I can remember. I was just curious to know if maybe I do some thing wrong, or if there is a problem with iMovie.

    ! 0.11.4 OSX El Capitan.

    iMac late 2012

Looks like you may have ejected from the SD card until all files have been copied to iMovie.  In fact I never use import to all but drag and drop files directly from the SD card mounted to an iMovie event.  This way an id that the files were transferred.

  • transfer photos from an sd card on icloud or dropbox on a trip

I'm looking for a reliable way to do the following, without lugging my computer on a + 2 weeks of vacation:

    • Upload photos from the SD and MicroSD card to my iPad.  Do NOT delete these photos from an SD card.
    • Have these photos then back-up for the cloud - iCloud or Dropbox would be OK, even though I prefer Dropbox (due to Rat Pack feature).
    • Then easily remove copies of the iPad (because otherwise I'll fill the disc).  I expect to take thousands of pictures... I don't want to have to select each of the 1000 + photos step by step to remove iPad tehm.
    • Be sure that these photos REMAIN in iCloud or Dropbox once they are removed from the iPad to 100%.

This would allow me to a) have my pictures saved on SD card AND save them in the cloud b) share photos while on the road and c) do not run out of space on the iPad.

I was in the Apple store today and TWO employees told me there is no way to do that today.  To remove images of the iPad, you must click on each image to select it before deleting.   Apple... it must be a user script which is VERY VERY common.  Please, I beg you! It is time to remedy.

If someone in the community has any workaround or the same backup solutions that work without using the iPad (is there a portable HD which will automatically copy what is on my SD card even)?  I greet you all useful information. During this time... I'm going to see if we can do on the tablet of my child.  :-(

    Thank you very much!

< personal information under the direction of the host >

In your photos app, when you press to select, you can select the value of a whole day of pictures, you don't have to exploit each. It depends on the view.

What do you think should work. If you remove photos of your photos app they will be removed from your photos in iCloud, but dropbox is different.

Flickr can also be an option for you. They have a function of automatic download that should all download and should not remove

I would suggest experiement now. Download some and see if they remain.

They are fresh from holding temporary store, your card issuer should remove in a few days or more: on the payment card's authorization in the iTunes Store - Apple Support

A card having a chance to be accepted it must be registered with the same name and address (including the format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and, therefore, the country that sits on your iTunes account). If it is you can check with the card issuer to see if it is them who are in decline. Or do you have another card you could try?

  • Satellite A200 - I can boot from PCI express card?

    I have a laptop A200.

I recently bought a PCI expresscard HD. Many people have asked this question already on many sites and regarding several different brands and models of laptops. According to anadtech and other techys the only way to do an ExpressCard hd is updated the BIOS. During the installation of Windows it says that it canoe on the device because the BIOS is not able to boot from it.

Toshiba creates a new BIOS to allow starting the expresscard hd or not Toshiba have a laptop model that will allow already, as im thinking of buying a new laptop but only if this option is available.

There someone using windows vista/xp knows a way round.

    Hello

As far as I know it s not possible to boot from PCI express card on Satellite A200.
In addition these books where you can boot from this slot are not known to me. Only the options HDD, CD/DVD, USB and network, but all that s.

In addition, I put t know what you mean with PCI expresscard HD.
    Is what exactly?

  • Satellite P35-S609 - boot possible from the SD card?

    Hello.

I did some autour research to see if it is possible to start a P35-S609 laptop computer and the SD card. Obviously, I have not found anything useful yet...
I'm just boot Damn Small Linux from a 1 GB SD card. I started with success from a USB key, but they are so slow on this laptop... so I'll try a SD card instead.

I've updated my worm 1.40 BIOS to see if there was no support for this, but nothing helped.

Anyone know if it is even possible to start an SD card on this laptop? Or am I wasting my time?

    See you soon.

    Rob.

    Hello

I never heard that it is possible to boot from an SD card so I doubt that. The BIOS doesn't support and an update of the BIOS will not add this feature.

Sorry, but if you want to boot from a Linux system, you must use the USB, CD/DVD disc or HARD drive.

    Welcome them

  • Can I transfer pictures from a SD card to an external HD using iPad Air?

Is there anyway to transfer pictures from a SD card to an external HD using just my iPad? I don't want to take my MacBook on a coming holidpay, would be nice rather just take my iPad but I could not find a way to do it without jailbreak iPad. I want to save my photos every day, so I do not lose their.

    Someone at - it managed?

    Cheears,

    Evan.

    As a general rule, no.

If you have the SD card reader and a player like the Kingston WiDrive wireless, you may be able to transfer the pictures to the iPad then the iPad on this disc.

If you have wifi, you could look for something like Flickr. You can download high or full resolution photos and store them here, then download them when you get home

  • Boot ThinkPad Yoga 'howto' from a SD card?

    Hello

is it possible to make bootable from a SD card on Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga?

I live linux image, but there is no optical drive on the system, then I would be happy to use the SD card slot. When don't start with selection of boot, there no SD card slot even though I have inserted in bootable SD card. On the other system, the same card start correctly.

Is there some settings of wood to allow the start of SD card slot, so it will be included in the list of boot devices? The same system to boot from USB, USB use a USB port, so the SD card is a better option.

    Concerning

ThinkPad does not support booting from SD card.
