• My HP Laserjet P 1102w worked fine without thread until I tried to change my wireless modem.

  The change did not work so I went back to the original modem/router (Westel 7500/Verizon Broadband).  With great difficulty, I reconnected the other devices on the wireless network, but could not get the printer reconnected.   To advise I deleted the drivers for my computer and went to the site to download the complete package.  When I arrived at the place of connection choice, the Wizard "research to the endponts wireless" Wi - Fi and cannot find them.  The wizard then asks me to enter my SSID and then it can't find it (this isn't protedcted password).  I know that the SSID is correct and work from other devices on the network find it and function very well.   Besides I also "reset" function wireless on the printer by pressing the buttons wireless and cx and then turning the printer, letting go of the buttons when the lights are flashing in unison.

  I tried to connect via USB also, but without success.  I have downlaoaded and run the fixer Dr. printer but no help.

  I am really frustrated.  I want to call HP directly but could not find a #.  Help?

  In network device manager driver is showing that "Intel (r) PRO/1000 PL Network connection.

  but I can't get the machine to retrieve an IP address.

  I checked the network ports and they all check out ok, that is to say that they are certainly direct and giving valid ip addresses.

  Hi Damien. I have a few questions for you here:

  (1) when you connect the ethernet cable, you see both the Green and orange lights flashing? If all goes well it is not a problem with the internal pins on your NETWORK card or a problem with the configuration of the router or the cable itself.

  (2) in addition, go to the shell (start-> Run-> CMD-> Enter) prompt and type the following for me:

  Ping 127.0.0.1

  Let me know if you see 4 answers with 0% loss

  Then, type the following at the shell prompt:

  ipconfig

  Type the shown static results. Need to see the IP address, subnet mask and gateway showing.

  I check to see if there are problems of configuration first. You can of course also use the release and renew orders and empty the DNS if necessary. Winsock reset possible too help?

  If everything looks normal and the problem persists, you want to consider getting the motherboard replaced. Systembords can act funny at times (especially with the integrated NETWORK card). This should solve the problem, Yes... but just do some it do not configure the questions first.

  I read free ads storms where they indicate the Verizon Storm (ANSI CDMA) has been unlocked and can be used on any network, including AT & T and T-Mobile (GSM).  Is this true or false just advertising?  I don't see how that's possible.  GSM and CDMA protocols are completely different air interfaces.  In my view, there must be at least 2 verisons of the storm.  One for CDMA (Verizon and Sprint) and one for the mobile PHONE (T-Mobile and AT & T)

  Good guys and finally I did it.

  I will talk about my missing driver, either (on the inside of the Device Manager) (NETWORK CONTROLLER), I just pressed on right click then properties, then you choose details... instead of the description of the device open and choose the lds material then simply copy the 2nd driver name and google it online, you will find free download from many sites thro web... I just did this and simply the wifi works perfectly now.

  I have an undesirable on the 1st floor, connected to the cable modem Ethernet event. I want to connect that AE to an another AE on 2nd floor with ethernet cable AND have a 3rd AE on the 1st floor to receive music through AirPlay wireless. I thought that linking the two first AEs with ethernet would improve the performance of web site on my iMac desktop, which is on the 2nd floor and connects to the 2nd floor AE via wifi. The EI the first two are newer model (MC414LL/A); the 3rd AE is old model (MB321LL/A) and is connected to a stereo Bose with a mini-jack to RCA cable double cord. I tried to set up this network using AirPort Utility, but have had no success. I don't know if it is possible to do what I want to do; and if this is the case, I don't know how to set the various parameters for each AE using AirPort Utility. I've temporarily implemented a purely wireless network; Do not connect DO NOT the two AEs with ethernet and everything works. I would enjoy my plan as above, or if I hold with purely network wireless. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Using ethernet network roaming between the two floors is a much better idea than anything wireless.

  The installation should be automagical if you start with the two AE plugged in by ethernet.

  It must be configured in standard roaming with identical names wireless.

  If you have any questions... Please, just after the airport utility screenshots of the configuration... but

  An express train is probably the router? You must confirm this.

  The second express is so configured in bridge... It's on the network tab, disable the bridge mode.

  

  Without thread is set to create a wireless network and simply use the same name and the same password as the other Express.

  Usually, this should work if you tried to reinstall the OS using original recovery image that you got with your laptop.

• Satellite L100-179: 2-3 weeks after recovering sound interruptions and performance drop down

  I bought a new L100-179 for my daughter for school. It worked fine out of the box, but after 2 weeks, he was so full of adware (from kazaa) that spybot/adaware teacher could not clean everything off.   If the CPU is forced to run at high level did you check which process is responsible for this? For the moment, I sometimes have the same problem with iexplore.exe. From time to time CPU is permanent on 100% usage and just if I kill this process manually the laptop works well again.
