  Anyone have advice on the implementation of vCOPS?  I have deployed the ovf, use a Pool of IP and configure static ip addresses, I get to the login page (https://< IP > / admin) and when running the Setup Wizard initial on the front page of details of vCenter Server I get a message "General error has occurred", which does not allow me to go further.  Now, I closed the browser to try again and I get a "Virtual Appliance Repair" screen that also fails with a general error has occurred.  Can anyone help solve this?

  Looks like you had a communication problem between two virtual machines.

  I got a T130 and recently tried to start with a key USB - but I have not even that far--basically since trying to press F12 to access the boot options it will not go passed the initial Toshiba screen.

  I tried to turn off, remove the battery/AC etc. When you press F2 it said entering the facility, but nothing has happened - I also replaced RAM memory modules.

  Any ideas?

  Maybe the BIOS is screwed up. I mean that if you are not able to enter, it may be BIOS problem.

  Start your laptop and enter the settings of the BIOS (F2). Set to its default value. Restart your computer, and press F8 to access the advanced boot menu.
  To start the laptop in safe mode and let us know if it works, try it please.

• iTunes, showing all of a sudden the new Setup screen?

  I don't know what happened to my iTunes, but it suddenly seems back to a new Setup screen.

  I haven't used iTunes - but it is set to auto-sync with my iPad.  I have had my iPad attached, while I was with my MBP. Later, I went to iTunes and disconnected from the iPad and - I think - quit iTunes. When I then opened it, that's what I have:

  

  It's always the same version of iTunes (11.4), and my music library is in the same place on my hard drive.  But I can't access my music by clicking on 'music' and all my playlists have disappeared.  I've never used icloud in any way, nor I remember having seen this screen before.

  Can you see what's happened and tell me how to get back to where I was - I can review my music and playlists, and iTunes as before?

  In iTunes, I found as it was before - almost - copying on the set of a backup disk iTunes Music folder.

  But the backup drive is not up to date and so some music I recorded very recently added (name to name the song and not the genre/artist/etc) is missing.  I tried to copy back the music file which is updated (from the origin on the MBP folder), but they aren't there yet.

  Any ideas on: 1) what happened to the "install screen" problem in the first place? and (2) is it possible to get the very recent missing tracks back?

  Then, when you start using the CD, this...

  1. When you see the "Welcome" screen
  2. press on 'R' to use your Recovery Console to repair the installation
  3. Type "chkdsk/r" and press "enter." CHKDSK will analyze and repair your hard disk. Type "Exit" once this process is complete.

  Your computer will restart and should be fixed. at least mine was.

• Can't see all networks wifi on initial Setup

  There was a problem with my original Touchpad (it does), so I sent to HP and just received my refurbished model. However, when I start the initial setup and it asks me to connect to a Wifi network, none appear, even if my network and my neighbors are all visible & active.

  My network configuration has not changed since my original Touchpad, which connected very well, so I don't know why this one should give problems. Any thoughts? It is extremely frustrating that I can still use my new Touchpad!

  Following my previous post, I called HP, explained my problem and they sent me a replacement. The new (renovated) came in a few days later and it connected to Wifi without problem. I proceeded to the initial installation and have no problem with this new unit.

  So, for all those who still have a problem with an inability to see any Wifi access during the initial installation points, contact HP and explain your problem. If you are able to upgrade to 3.0.4 use WebOS Doctor, do this and confirm that your Mac address is all zeros. This seemed to be the point of triggering of a replacement for me.

• Can't reinstall Vista. Because Vista will not get to the Setup screen.

  Hi people. Got a prob a little. Vista stopped booting the other night. So, I tried safe mode, and it hung on crcdisk.sys. So, I decided to get in shape. Problem is, it will boot from the DVD, but will not load / access the Setup screen (I waited for 7-8 minutes and nothing's happened, shows just the thing with the green bar).

  Not too sure if it's because the hard drive is 1 TB (but Vista was on the same front hdd with Windows 7). I tried to remove the 2 GB of ram (I use 4). No go. Tried another DVD rom, not go. Removed USB devices that have been connected. No go. I know that the DVD itself is fine. I tried on the other PC here, the installation screen came within 2-3 minutes. But his is not a 1 to (its 250 GB) the only DVD that will work / I install is the Windows 7 DVD.  So, how can I reinstall Vista?

  I deleted all partitions / recreated with the Win7 installation as well. Still couldn't get Vista to get to the Setup screen

  Finally fixed it. I read that USB legacy can also cause this. So, I disabled it. Everything is good. Managed to get to the Setup screen, then reinstall Vista

• QuickBooks does not install, it goes through the initial setup and then everything stops.

  I tried to install quickbooks, but after that happening by initial installation it just hangs.  I have error view in my computer management for setup of windows and checked to see if it has been activated (I put it on automatic).  Is there a windows update Setup program that I can download.  I use a windows vista computer.  Thank you.

• Adobe Customization Wizard XI: setup.ini is not found (during the recording of the MSI)

  I downloaded the wizard XI of customization of Adobe and the Adobe Reader XI .msi file. I'm looking for only three options to customize this app. When I try to save the .msi file, I get an error "setup.ini file was not found.

  Simply install Adobe Reader on a computer.  Then, you will get the flat files in a folder with the Setup.ini file.  It will be something like that, depending on your operating system:

  Windows 7 64-bit example location

  C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Setup\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-AB0000000001}\

  Anyway, did you check your version. AOL is the only site that is can access.
  If you don't want to do a system restore, try these things:
  First of all, go to IE/Tools/Internet Options/Security/Restricted Sites. If AOL is there, remove it.
  Then, let's try the ' ol rt click method. (Can be permission issues have prevented a clean UN/reinstall of FP10). Go online as an Admn user for that. C:/Windows/System32/C:\windows\system32\macromed/Flash. RT click FlashUtil10x (x is any letter) run as Admn. A "should Wizard appears, follow the instructions.» Exit / restart IE7. Test it. If still no, restart and test again. Reply back with the results.
