  Have you tried to restore the driver in Device Manager? I don't know much on your laptop, are you sure that you install the right driver?

  -What Windows operating system you are using?

  I have a Seagate external drive where I save copies of my pictures and videos from my Macbook Pro.  I just bought a new Macbook Air and Air reads the disc, but cannot be copied to it, it just says: it is read-only.  I'm confused, as I only used it on a Macbook so I know that it is formatted for Mac, plus I can still save using my Macbook Pro so I don't know why it won't work on my new Air.

  You have a new drive to NTFS. You will have to repartition and reformat the disk in the order to the EU.

  Drive partition and format

  1. open utility disk from the Applications\utilitaires folder.

  I had to go to the hp website and download the drivers. Apparently, my 'new' desktop came not with the necessary updates drivers.

  The Code 10 error code is generated when the Device Manager has not enough information or error that spread upwards by device drivers is not recognized by Device Manager.   It seems that the WLAN from toshiba download page is down and you have to find another way to find the WLAN driver.
