WMP11 cut the end of the songs

When I download the songs and play them in WMP11, they play beginning at the end without problem.

However , if there is a song on my MP3 Creative Zen Vision: M () that I want and I drag and drop it onto my computer, and then try playing, she still cut off 10 seconds of the song and the next track in parts of the line.  This only happens when I drag and drop my Zen player.  Ripping of CD is fine.  Why is that happening and how can I get rid of him?  I fear that this subject because I'm going to transfer all my songs in a new via WMP11 mp3 player and I don't want all my entire library of songs cutting like that on my new drive.

Thank you

Hi chelly812,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

This happens only reading MP3 files or other types of files too?

You can try the following steps and check if you can solve the problem.

1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking Start , clicking Control Panel , hardware and sound, and then clicking on sound.

2. on the playback tab, click speakers , and then click on Properties.

3. click on the enhancements taband then select the check box to disable all improvements cof devil.

4. click on apply and OK.

If disabling audio enhancements solves the audio problem you are having, this indicates usually that your audio driver needs to be updated.

    Hello mckendrick,.

Sorry for all the questions that you are experiencing with Windows Media Player.
I have included a link here to a convenience store for Windows Media Player. It can help to identify potential problems with codecs.

    I hope this can help.

  • All the songs that I have purchased from i-tunes stops playing before the end of the song. The time varies from song to song.

I only bought individual songs (singles for the most part) to I-tunes. But on EVERY song that I bought it goes silent after awhile. The song still plays, but he is silent. The time varies from song to song, sometimes it goes silent a few minutes before the end, sometimes it's 30 seconds. It is different from song to song. At the end of the song/silence he plays very well the next track. Unless it's a song I bought. This has only started recently. Each song or track that I downloaded from my own record collection is very good! Is the path of the Apple to get more money?

I would be grateful for any ideas how to solve this problem.

    Thank you, Nigel van Beek

Mine is too, but it's mainly my non-iTunes songs and some just skip the whole song, every time I try to play rather than simply silent.

Synchronize the iTunes Song not fixed either, what is worst iTunes for Windows itself isn't even working now

  • Very short Silence at the end of my song.

I know that this question has been asked many times on this forum, but I can't find a solution that works for me.

I am currently doing a game, where the timing of the music is very important. I decided to try to make my own music for the game, so I did a few songs. Unfortunately, at the beginning, it was quite a long silence at the end of the song. I found a solution online, where you drag the yellow bar below the timeline to show where the section you want to export begins and ends. He got rid of most of the silence, but not all. There is still a tiny little (less than one second) of silence at the end of the song, and since the game will loop the song, which makes the song more and more wide synchronization whenever a loop is executed.

Inside GarageBand, however, when I listen to the song, it makes a loop perfectly. Even when I tried to export the song, and then import it back into GarageBand (and I also tried with Audacity,) it seems to be the perfect length. But, when I tuned it with iTunes, QuickTime, or Groove music and in the game itself, I can hear a very small space that sounds very out of line and unprofessional.

    I use GarageBand 11, Version 6.0.5 (428,5).

There seems to be a problem with programs that play music, but I am very new to the scene to make the music. Thank you much in advance.

GarageBand adds a tiny bit of silence to allow the reverb to falter.  You use any reverberation?

  • Bravo music player stops just before the end of a song

When you use the music player, it will do a break just before the end of the song and does not move to the next selection. It does not appear when the screen is not asleep, but I do not know exactly that this is the case. Everyone having this problem

    @Midnight-

Do you have applications in the end task on the Auto List Manager or use a 3rd party Manager tasks that ends the apps? You can delete an application, one at a time until he started working and then you will know which app can not be in Task Manager which will cause the music to stop when the screen turns off.

  • Noise at the beginning and end of the songs?

I get a humming sound for a split second at the beginning and end of the songs which can be heard at high volume.  The sound only comes from the left atrium.  I tried a few different pairs of headphones and get the same result, then it is definitely the Clip.

It of just a feature of the Sansa Clip or is there something wrong with my drive?

    TIA

I tried ripping the mp3 with two different programs, and it does not solve the problem.  Mind you, these are the same files of music that I had installed on my iPod Shuffle 2nd without noise.

Today I bought another Sansa Clip and it does the same thing only for the straight path instead of the left.

My conclusion is that it is an inherent problem with the Sansa Clip.  The reason why some of you can't hear this 'noise', I'm talking about is because I have the ears of a bat.

  • E250 guard turn off at the end the song HELP

whenever I play after the end of the song, it restarts. How can I fix without losing my music

Go to settings/USB Mode and make sure that it is on the PSG to connect to Windows Media Player. You also need Windows Media Player version 10 or 11. If you use a computer with Windows Media Player 9, it will not work.

  • WMP11 loses data when extracting. All files are track 0 and the length of the song is not listed.

Using Win XP Pro & Media Player 11. Works very well for a long time. Recently, I have problems during extraction.

Album info & track is correct, and he rips it in the right folder (with the names of artist & album as folder names). But the WMP11 database is messed up. The names of the files/tracks are OK, but all the songs are track 0, and all other data such as the name of the album, genre, year and artist are all unknowns. WMP11 does not know the length of the songs.  I can change the data, but not the length.  How can I fix it?

    Hello RHarrigill,

Thank you for your message.  It is possible that Windows Media Player 11 database must be damaged.  Please follow the steps below:
    Exit Windows Media Player.
Click Start, run, type %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.
Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:
If you are running Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft and then click OK.
    Restart Windows Media Player.
Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
Please let us know if it did or did not solve your problem.
    See you soon

  • Windows Movie Maker cut the end of the clips. Help! Why is this happening?

I don't understand why this is happening.  I used Windows Movie Maker with VISTA Home Premium often enough.  The images come from the camera I've always used.

file and delete the unwanted part of the project.

in a format that is not compatible. If you convert

The converter below might be helpful to try:

After downloading and installing Format Factory...

Drag and drop your audio clips on the main screen...

    That should do it...

  • Windows Media Player: What makes the songs "break up" towards the end of the game?

Music "breaks" to the end of a song (not all, but most).

  • 5 seconds before the end of each song, windows media player freezes about 1-2 seconds

    Hello

I'm having this problem with Windows Media Player. I use WMP12 to play songs in MP3 format. Just before each channel ends, approx. ~ 5 seconds before the end of each song, for example, the media player seems pauses / freezes for 1-1.5 seconds. The freeze/pause is defintiely not intentional - the gel looks as if WMP is having a problem reading from a file.

I searched but not solution yet discovered. I have turned on SRS WOW. I don't see as a problem because otherwise the songs play fine - disablying SRS WOW is not what you can call the problem. In addition, the reason why WMP stands out for me is its SRS WOW. If I'm not going to need SRS WOW, so I guess use VLC/MediaPlayerClassic, for example.

Please help me. Thank you. The gel all spoils!

UPDATE: I think it is about 5-10 seconds before the end of each song, the freeze occurs. I just had a.

Yes, you can try to uninstall the current driver first.

If this does not help, I suggest you check out the real manufacturer of the sound card. If the sound card is not made by Samsung, then it is possible that you will find newer drivers on the website of the real manufacturer.

  • Music in windows media player will stop playing at the end of the song

Original title: at the end of the songs sound problem

When playing music in windows media player there are a couple of secpnds of silence at the end of each file-music

    Hi ccjerry,

1 when was the last time it was working fine?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

If the music in your library skips or the audio breaks up when you play in Windows Media Player, it might be a problem with the sound driver installed on your computer. In general, this type of problem occurs towards the end of the songs (in the last 20 seconds or almost).

In some cases, you can work around the problem by disabling optional speaker effects that are collectively known asimprovements. If the disabling effects speaker resolves the problem, you may need to update your audio driver.

    (a) Sound open by clicking on the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type sound, and then click sound.

    (b) on the playback tab, click speakers, and then click Properties.

    (c) click the enhancements tab, and then select the checkbox disable all improvements .

If you do not see the enhancements tab in the speakers properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

If disabling audio enhancements solves the audio problem you are having, this indicates usually that your audio driver needs to be updated.

  • Cut the end a string

There may be another way to do this.

I have a button nested in a MC. When the button is clicked, I want to record the path for MC.

    I tried this:
    TargetPath (this)

However, this gives the path to the button, not the MC. In other words, it gives the path of MC and adds ".this_button" to the end. In order to save the path to the MC, I need to remove these characters from the string. How can I cut the last characters in a string when I don't know the total number of characters in the string? Is it possible to cut the end?

Alternatively, is there a way I can get the path to the MC without getting the path to the button? I tried this:
    TargetPath (_parent)

It gives me the path to the MC in which the MC, I'm interested in is nested.

    Try:
    targetPath (this._parent)
