  • missing yvfpemrj.dll file how to solve this problem?

After reinstalling Firefox on Windows 7 Pro, I get the message that the... yvfpemrj.dll file is missing when I start the computer. Also, when I use google to search, it displays a blank page.

It seems that your computer might be infected by a Virus (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic446165.html )

    I suggest the following resources:

My Firefox problem a result of Malware is an article from the Mozilla Support with some good advice to avoid and fight against malware.

To verify that your system is clean, perform the following steps (no official Mozilla tips, just good practices of personal experience)

Download and install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full scan. http://www.Malwarebytes.org/

    Download and launch TDSSKiller http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208283363

Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials (no not official approval, but I personally recommend MSE as a great permanent anti-virus)

    Check all Windows updates.

If you still have problems with Malware after that, I would recommend either http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/, or have your computer cleaned by a professional.

I can't use the player windows media with my Vista system home premium.  The following message appears: the file wmploc.dll has the version number of 11.0.6002.18111 where 11.0.6002.18065 was expected. Windows media player is not installed correctly and must be reinstalled.

Windows media player is installed with Vista system and cannot be reinstalled.  I've used the process of sfc/scannow.  That solved the problem, but it creates another problem with the installation of Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5.SP1.  Therefore, I used the restore function and reset the system again.  3.5.SP1 Microsoft Framework now works again, but windows media player does not even now.

According to what is easier to fix, it seems that I can try to solve the problem of windows media player or try to solve the problem of Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5.SP1.

If possible, I would like to address the problem of the player window media only. I tried to use the suggestion with the command prompt. Unregmp2.exe/updatewmpversion.  It does not work.
