  I solved that little problem by deleting the software acrobat reader from the system. After restarting again I reinstalled it again

  Now, the message does not appear and everything works like a dream ;)

  Hello, does anyone know how to disable the item 'show 'Start' workspace when no documents are open"in the General preferences (11.3 InDesign (version 2015.3) via script or command?):

  

  I'm about to deploy several other parameters with CC2015 via script .jsx in the startup scripts folder; a parameter I did was turn off the frame of the Application (app.generalPreferences.useApplicationFrame = false ;)

  I thought that this setting would hide the workspace of starting, but when the startup script runs this command, instead, I see more buggy behavior, a random window appears with the news of the workspace of departure, and then InDesign freezes completely.

  I have deploy a default file, this setting but really tried to get away from that and would like to find a way to disable this check box with a command or a script...  I searched around the object model and cannot find it.

  Your problem could be solved if you turn off YOUR Application framework in the window Menu.

  Go to window-> part of the Application.

  I have a number of documents I want to delete, but when I try to do this by using Windows Explorer I get an error indicating that the document is open in Word, and it cannot be deleted.  I closed and reopened in Word, open and re-closed documents in Word, rebooted the PC - but I can't find a way to remove the documents.  Any help appreciated.

  Ah yes, I saw that too.  It is logical that the file being opened he would block the file operations.  I mean, it's really a small version of Word running in this context.  But still, it would be nice to it unloaded/closed the Preview automatically when you start to do something about the file, such as delete.

  I assume you mean that you have Office Starter 2010, which is the successor of Microsoft Works.  There are several file formats Microsoft Office which won't open in Office Starter 2010, they are quite obscure file formats.

  Where the documents that you are having problems with it comes?  What is the file extension (the characters after the dot in the name of the file)?

  I use Firefox for many months to access my work using Outlook Web Access (OWA) mail. By clicking on an attachment always resulted in the download file intact (for most PDF files and Word documents).   Go to control panel | Default programs and try to set the default e-mail program there and see if that fixes it.  Otherwise, right click on the message and go to properties and click Modify to change the program that opens it.

  Right click on the link (using Add or change the link), and then select Properties. Switch to the Actions tab and change the action "Go to a page in another document" which is there. Under 'Open In' select 'New window', and then click OK.

  Another thing you can do is to go to editing Documents - Preferences - and uncheck "open the cross-documents links in the same window.

  This means that if the link is configured to use the preferences of the user, the file will open in a new window. But if the link is set to open in the same window, it will not make a difference.

  There are two types of Adobe Stock, .jpg, and .ai files. You've probably used .jpg images before without problem. But the .ai files requires Adobe Illustrator convert for use in your documents. What is the number of image file that you have problems with?

  Tip: If you do not have Adobe Illustrator (included with the subscription of cloud creative) then make sure that "Vector" is NOT checked when you do your research on Adobe Stock.
