• Tecra A10 - pad touch and the keys do not work on Windows 7 x 64

  We have recently done a new install of Windows 7 x 64 on a Toshiba Tecra A10.
  The operating system has taken over most of the drivers, we had to install drivers for the card reader ourselves.

  Our problem is that the touchpad and the buttons work at all.
  The driver displayed in devices such as manager being installed, but that's all. I even installed the control panel of the Alps (Vista x 64) which works very well.
  Have tried the settings "stick and touchpad are automatically invalidated" when you use an external USB mouse, all to nothing done.

  The equipment worked perfectly okay with Windows 7 32 bit installed.

  Is there a fix here?

  Maybe it of just a driver issue, I checked the downloads available for Tecra A10 on page of Toshiba and Windows 7 32 bit there is a newer driver available for Windows 7 64 bits do not (no driver). If you use the Vista 64 bit driver

  What you can do is to test the driver for the touchpad for Tecra A11. There is a version more recent for Windows 7 64 bit of Alps Electric so correct. Touchpad driver is not linked so I sure it will also work on your model of m.

  In December 2012 after installation of the updates of Microsoft Windows on my machine Windows 8 and rebooting, my icon downtown Action system gave 3 warning messages:

  He said that McAfee is a problem with Windows 8 and McAfee and are working on a fix.

  The tech told me to get in touch with Dell and they would provide a fix.

  This problem does not occur with my Alienware Windows 7 pc and installation of Windows 8 I received is on my other pc from Dell.

• Brother printer and the scanner does not work after Windows Update.

  I have the same problem with my Brother ADS2000 scanner and my multi MFCJ4710.  I can print with the MFC, but the Control Center detects or scanners.  They worked and suddenly stopped.  I wonder if Windows update changed something?  Scanners both work with Windows Fax and Scan, but not Brother Control Center 4.  I called support of brother and again, they have said something about TWAIN and I have to do some registry clean.  I tried their manual steps, they sent with the registry fixes and which totally screwed up on my computer.  I had to do a restore and now back to square one.

  Any solution out there?

  It was my dose,

  (1) start search box type menu "user accounts".

  (2) open and select "user account control settings."

  (3) to change the cursor to "never notify".

  (4) 'ok' to save

  (5) fact! You may need to restart you machine.

  PS: this was my fix, it was caused by software AVG anti-virus, AVG has replaced this setting and would fail to wireless for my scanner. It will be useful.

  Just updated for FF9. I'm is not just disappointed, but which are checked the the bug that causes save slot to remember where it was recorded the last file of individual sites instead of just where the last file has been saved to has not been set. Why is this? How can be addressed?

Instead of folder C, save under opens to the folder instead of the folder C. I have direct save as to save the image in A file.   I think that in this case, you can't do anything. I mean Windows 7 isn't on the market yet and at the moment there no drivers available. You can only try the Vista drivers because most of them are also work on Windows 7.

  HP 8500 has more scan not scan - I hear a fast spin and the book will not draw in the charger. I tried a reboot, including disconnect the motor from the power analysis. A software update was just pushed through today as well, but the problem with the scanner was before this update. This update took place after the power has been turned off, then on again.

  I'm trying to convert a form of copy paper to PDF to fill live.

  The lines are all alike: a quantity multiplied by a monetary value, with a calculation in the last column is equal to the product of the quantity and the value of the dollar.

  I can enter a quantity, then the dollar value, but the calculation did not take place until I tab to the next field or click another field. So far so good.

  However, at the bottom of the last column, I have another field that calculates the sum of all the totals for each line in the last column.  This is what seems to not work properly. The sum not updated if I tab to other areas, or the cursor in other areas.  It is being updated if I enter data in another field in the form. I think it should behave in the same way as the horizontal lines.

  How is it that the form updates horizontally, but not vertically?  Is it because I'm doing a sum on fields that are calculated fields?  Is there a way to get around this?

  Simply attach the field calculation order, so it makes sense for the form. Exactly how do you this depends on which version of Acrobat you are using. Acrobat 11, you would go first in forms editing mode (Tools > forms > change), then select: tasks > other tasks > set field calculation order

  I have a 2015 macbook pro (SSD 256, 16 GB of RAM last el capitan updated) with a wired problem.

  I use it mainly to a cinema monitor and I use wireless keyboard and mouse (office installation program), and of course as a stand-alone laptop when I'm not at my desk.

  When I put the laptop to sleep, everything works fine when I wake up.

  but, if I'm away from the office and I have to restart my laptop, here is the problem.

  The boot process is very very slow, there is no edge, and when I finally have the screen to unlock the safe, the keyboard and the touchpad do not react. Actually, that's not exactly true, they are so slow that they are unusable and get caught quickly, all gel. So I can't unlock and complete the boot. My laptop is unusable ;-(

  At this point, I get a message that if I forgot my password I just need to reboot by pressing the power button, and I'll be able to reset it.

  When I do this and aprΦs the dΘmarrage that more slowly than usual but ok, I get another screen with several options of problem solving. One of them is "keyboard not responding do not. When choosing this one, it asks if you want to remove safe. I tried and everything was back to normal.

  I'm having a similar problem with macOS Sierra which I didn't have with El Capitan.  I can possibly move the cursor on the power button and turn off (no), but I must be patient because the keyboard and trackpad are only for a fraction of a second, which only allows me to move the mouse slightly.  After he stop and start back up, everything is perfect until I tried another reboot, and then I'm back to the beginning.

  I tried to reinstall the operating system, reset the SMC, resetting the NVRAM, reboot in SafeMode... nothing worked so far.

  We have a printer all-in-one HP Officejet Pro 8600 operating from a desktop HP with Windows 7. Recently, in the last two weeks my wife told me, we cannot print photos. The documents appear to be printed without a problem, but when trying to print a photo we get a window titled 'Send Fax - HP Officejet Pro 8600'. We have never used or even hung fax capablitly since we have owned this printer (maybe 2-3 years). All of a sudden, this window is displayed when we try to print a photo and the photo does not print.  I can't tell you that my wife did not hit accidentally a wrong button somewhere down the line, but she says she does not. I tried to attach a screenshot of the window, but for some reason that it does not take it. It's probably something very simple, but technically challenged myself, I can't understand. Help, please.

  Print picture of what program?  Some programs to keep their own default values for the printer.  It seems that the default printer for the printing of the photo program has been set to Fax.  Try to open the program, select the Officejet Pro 8600 as the printer rather than the Officejet Pro 8600 fax.

  Problem solved. It was because of the abdriver for keyboard and mouse I have installed from the official website of lenovo, I don't know how or why, but when I uninstalled it, it started working again.
