(Word2007 and Acrobat Reader 9.3) software applications do not respond (show the codes of errors/etc) ONE of my user accounts (running Vista Home Premium 64); will work perfectly on all the other (total of 3) user accounts.
8.3 and word2007 Acrobat (version family and student) does not not in one of my user accounts - no problem in others; downloaded Acrobat 9.3; problem persists in Acrobat; Failed to get support for Word as they know is no longer my (expired) product key. Any method to repair/restore/reinstall to only the affected user account.
Hi Chuck41,
Since both applications work correctly on some other user accounts except the account of a user that can occur if this user account is damaged.
You will need to create a new user account and then transfer the file and the settings of the user account damaged to the new user account.

Please help me. I called Canon nothing is done.
In fact, I already did what you said but it doesn't work. There is a conflict between windows explorer 9 and my canon mp640 printer. Microsoft consumer support figured this out for me. What we have done is to uninstall internet explorer 9 and returned to internet explorer 8 and since that my printer works fine.

Running Vista Home Premium - lost the ability to create new folders
Running registered OEM Edition Vista Home Premium on a Dell Inspiron 531 AthlonII 4400 + 2.3 GHz, 4 X 1 024 MB 800 MHz Crucial memory, Asus M2N61-AX micro-ATX Mobo, OS on 80 GB Seagate HDD, storage of files on 500 GB Seagate HDD... Has worked perfectly for over a year.
Installed the free version of "PC Wizard" who has downloaded a bunch of Add-ons that I didn't, so I uninstalled them. Two days later, when downloading a file, could not create a new folder when you click "New folder" in the top left corner to-do bar (arrange, etc.). Then tried to create a new folder by right-clicking on the desktop, on the C: drive & drive F: (storage) using Windows Explorer. No errors, no "new folder" created. Also impossible to rename folders. Action seems to work, but when checking the file later, the same name.
PC works perfectly also. Tried to restore to the point of previous restoration, without success. Played "dskcheck" on drive C: with both options checked, no problems found, clean disc.
Of course, I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

The update error is 80070641.
Hi LinaA_794,
· You did changes to the computer before the show?
· You are able to install some other updates or get the same error?
If office is uninstalled and office updates are available, you can choose to hide updates.
If you want to install updates, follow these methods.
Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable the antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network at the time the anti-virus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot State to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the link step 7 to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.
Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.
http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx
Method 4: Follow the steps in the article.

It seems a week or if there is my laptop started to send spam and offensive email who wore my e-mail address, I changed
all passwords several times since then. A few days ago, I noticed that my C drive was about 100 MB or so every day or two, I run
Norton 360 scan to clean files and daily update and execution. Example: someday C drive was 41.2 GB and about 24 hours later, it was 41.8 GB.
I use internet several times during the day and check my hotmail often.
Any ideas out there?

I had my internet provider here at least 10 times in the last 2 weeks. They see no problem. I gave my computer to Microsoft, he ran and saw no problem.
But I still have questions! Even online game (poker), you can see where it disconnects and reconnects repeatedly.
Can any help...?
Hi LoriBob,
1. is the part of the computer from the domain?
2. when the last time programs worked well?
3. What is the type of internet connection you use?
4. only happens to the programs or even disconnected Web sites? If this only happens with online programs, it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is behind internet connection dropped.
I suggest that you do check and clean boot, if it works.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
