  Hey,.

  I was on my Mac working on a project (in iMovie), and I needed to take a video screen. (Like a screenshot but a video).

  I was wondering the best way to do without having to download anything.

  Help if you can, my project is due next week!

  There are no live screen recording apps that are shipped or standard with a Mac.

  AND there is no screen free recording apps, either.

  All are apps to pay to download or paid on disk software that come in the mail.

  Low technology is to use a digital camera or a camera phone with video function, put it on a tripod (or something to keep the camera still and stationary) in a good position and save your video screen as it and then import the video from the camera or phone in iMovie to add images in your iMovie project to change.

  Anyone know why I can't insert a video screen or change any existing? As shown in the screenshots all my video files options are grayed out.

  Figured it out, I had accidentally activated my software as basic editing.

  I have used the License Manager OR to activate Professional edition with DAC Bundle and video options can now be selected.

  Edit: I do not mark my own post as a solution to my question, but someone else may have the same problem I did it anyway.

• YouTube video screen size

  Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I have a BDP-S480 and I was wondering if there was a way to change the size of the video screen to youtube. Currently, it takes just less than 25% of the size of the screen and it is too small to see, at least on my TV. Is it possible to go full screen. Options do not mention that and I can't find any instructions on the youtube interface in the manual. Thank you.

  Thank you for your message.
  So that viewing the You Tube video press the right arrow on your remote and it will highlight video. Once you have done this, press the Center button on the remote control and video will then go to full screen. Please note the videos of You Tube are not widescreen and it is normal that most of them have black bars on the sides.

  You can check in mode low resolution and see if it helps.

  You can read the following article to activate the low resolution:

  Startup options (including safe mode)

  If it works in mode low resolution, then you can change the resolution of the screen, restart the computer and check.

• In 3 simultaneous video screens

  I try to implement my Alienware M14X R2 to work with 3 screens: 2 screens (Dell) external and internal monitor (laptop). The two external monitors are connected as follows:

  • An external monitor is connected to the Alienware laptop via a DVI cable to HDMI.
  • The other external monitor is connected to the Alienware laptop via a VGA VGA cable.

  I can't do this configuration works with any combination of parameters. I can get both of these screens to work, but not all three.

  The other thing that is a little concerning, is that when I pull the NVIDIA Control Panel, it shows that all three screens are controlled by the 4000 Intel HD integrated graphics adapter and none are controlled by the Nvidia GEForce GT 650 built-in discrete graphics adapter. Yet once, nothing I tried (apart from disabling the Intel card) could change the allocation of video screens to graphics cards.

  Once more, the main objective is to have a working configuration 3 screen display.

  Does anyone know of a fix software or hardware for this problem?

  Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

  I read your post on the reuse of your old video screen in Win10 and wanted to help.

  If you mean using the screen as a monitor, there is no reason to have to buy a new one for Win10.

  As long as you have the correct video cables that hold the two connectors on the PC and on the old screen, you should be able to get a display with no problems.

  However, the display will be limited to the max of the old screen resolution and some of them are 1024 x 768.  If you are not sure, you can Google the old screen model number and be able to find the resolution taken max supported.

• How can I train the same film clip as a video screen?

  I have the video screen on my background image. Where I've hidden the movie file to fit this screen. But it is still square-shaped, because I can not shape my movie exactly like screen file. I tried with the free transform tool, but it is not useful. The perspective as in Photoshop tool that will work. Is there such a tool in flash cs4? Please help me in this regard.

  you have cs4?  If so, use its 3D features.  If not, use the distordimage class.

• Gray loading on youtube videos screen

  When I try to play YouTube videos, there is just a gray screen in the video box and the loading icon just continually spins. When I stop it, the loading icon goes away. There is no error message. Videos YouTube work on Chrome. It isn't a black screen, it's clear gray. YouTube update or something and I think it might have something to do with it

  I suggest to try the "Refresh Firefox" function that usually fixes most of the problems. https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/refresh-Firefox-reset-Add-ons-and-settings

  The "Refresh" function works by creating a new profile for you folder during the recording of your most important data.

  If the above does not work, then you can go ahead and reinstall Firefox.

  These measures give a try and see if the problem still persists!

• IQ816 double video screen LCD (multiplex) problem

  I have an iq816 in which the motherboard just died, then it wouldn't turn on, POST, nothing. The motherboard has been replaced and the system now starts at the bottom of windows very well with one exception: all that is shown on the display is multiplexed 6 times. The image to fill the entire screen fills to only 1/6 of the screen and is repeated 6 times. The machine has no video output, so I can't test an external monitor.
  
  Here's what I know so far:
  1. the symptom appears during the during the POST, not only in Windows and BIOS configuration screen, then it cannot be a driver problem.
  2. the system has a video card discrete MXM and two LVDS ports on the motherboard (LVDS2 for discreet video) and LVDS1 for the embedded video. I already tried to remove the discrete video card and connecting the LCD to LVDS1 (integrated video), but the problem persists, this isn't a video card problem.
  3. in the configuration of the BIOS, the machine claims to be an iq504, not an iq816. I know that the machines take the same motherboard (same HP reference at least), so I don't know whether to be alarmed by the present or not. I tried to Flash the latest BIOS for the iq816, but the listed model is always incorrect. Is there another firmware, I need to flash, or is it a distraction?
  4. There is a set of DIP switches on the motherboard that I have not found any documentation on, but they are labeled GPIO, so I doubt they will help. Yet, no idea this here?
  5. There is a block of jumpers 8-pin without a label. I think that the bit is used to reset CMOS and reset password, but would like to know what are the other pins.
  
  6. the causes I can think of:
  A. bad cable LVDS (other on command - update)
  B. bad screen LCD (game over)
  C. something to do with this strangeness of motherboard model

  I'm sorry that you use in this show, but thank you for providing this useful information! I did some research on your motherboard.

  Here is a link showing the motherboard specifications - develop internal connectors

  GPIO is listed there as the DIP switch used in the factory to match the motherboard to the LCD so it might be your answer. I searched for any kind of documents I can find on which positions the rider must be on for the iq816 but have not yet find something. I wanted to get this information for you right where you want to go ahead and try changing this autour rider to see what works.

• Using VGA input on screen HDMI TV. Some software generates blank video screens

  Computer is HPE-140f with Nvidia GeForce GT 230 and a HP w2338h monitor.  I only use the VGA input to the monitor. (My HDMI port use UVerse HDTV for viewing).

  Two programs from sending me blank screens for their live video.  One is VisualStudioPro by Corel.  All the features work except for video capture from DV recorder.  The video part is black.   Captured video is saved and if I edit it with other vendors software and then return to VideoStudioPro, it displays and re - edit correctly using the same screen.

  The other is Logitec alert Commander who is a 3 camera system which feeds on my router.  It displays the components of video display properly including the text and provides a small thumbnail view properly in the lower right corner and windows pop up on the screen when movement is detected (also the thumbnails).  However, it displays "live video" and white "video playback.  The windows business expansion are gray but dividers always show.

  Is it possible that these software drivers try to display my unsucessfully to screen VGA HDMI Windows?

  Is it a driver problem or a problem with the fact that I do not use the HDMI compatible card in the computer?

  I loaded each update and visited the center of support of each provider and each community forum I can find: Corel, Microsoft, Logitech, Nvidia to date without any help.  Any other video presentation software correctly at all times: Roxio, Microsoft media, QT, Flash, various information, youtube channels, etc.   Just these two programs send blank components in normal views Where the video is supposed to be.

  This problem is corrected.    Trevor Logitech support suggested that I turn off the pilot mirror RC HP.

  It fixed immediately.

  I understand several websites that it is a common problem with HP and it is used by HP support only if it is necessary to romoting diagnose a problem.   I am appaled that someone from HP has not yet responded to my problem.

  Logitech remained on the problem and contacted me at least a dozen times and it wasn't even their problem.   They rock.

• Dell Latitude E6400 LCD / LED video screen has partial display of vertical lines

  I have a Dell Latitude E6400 on which display LED screen / video shows the stable vertical lines in the right half of the screen (partial view on the left side is good, see photo). I have already tested the external VGA port - it is displayed correctly on an external LCD display. The vertical lines are constant and the same brightness, regardless of the position of the lid of the laptop. This could be a problem with the inverter or the water of the LED screen? Or something else? Thanks in advance for any comments.

  P. S. Please note that glow Golden on the top left of the screen is just a reflection of ambient light.

  

  It is not the inverter (assuming that the display has a);  who simply controls the backlight.  It may or may not be the cable - it's not likely.  It resembles a billboard damaged.
