writing to micro sd

I have a 32g micro sd on my tab 7. Slate recoconizes it.  If I copy the files to it from my laptop, it access it fine.  I can see both the internal and external storage without problem.

I can't get my photos from my camera to automatically record on the micro sd card and my internal storage fills up.  All my other android devices allow me to choose to record in the internal storage or on the micro sd card. I can't find any way to do it on the 7 slate.  All records in the internal memory.

How do I actually use the "expanded" Storage automatically?  I really want to have to manually move the files from internal to external storage.

Thank you!

I think it may depend on the app.

In order to answer your question, I started to play with my camera HP Slate 7 and could not find a way to specify the default path with the built-in camera and Gallery apps. HOWEVER, if you are willing to spend the price of a coffee of fantasy on an app, I just bought Camera Zoom FX (to check that it worked) and he does.

Not only can you specify where you want your stored photos, you simply touch the screen - anywhere on the screen (not just the small blue button) and take the picture. It also has image stabilization and a ton of other features that I have not yet begun to deepen.  Obviously, it is not an official endorsement, but I'm pretty happy with the app, personally.

  • ThinkPad 8 Micro SD port speed

    Hey there,

I would like know Lenovo Thinkpad 8 owners how fast the Micro SD slot. My intention is to buy a Sandisk Extreme with read/write speeds 60/40. But if this speed is not realistic in the 8 ThinkPad, it would be the Sandisk Ultra. I hope you guys can help me.

I have two 32 GB Class 10 of Sony SD - HC / cards rated at 60/40 and 70/40 UHS1 and I get no more than 24/18 - i.e. 24 MB/s read and 18 MB/s in writing. But I do not have access to other brands, so I don't know if the limit is of the card, the slot or a combination of both.

  • DAQmx writing

    Hello

I am trying to simultaneously acquire a signal while generating / writing a signal chirp (swept sine wave), which varies from 0 to 800 Hz. before, I was able to do it using a loop timed with 1 KHz clock and 100 msec period. The sampling rate for the moment for generation DAQmx was 4000 Hz, and the number of samples per channel was set at 400. In the timed loop samples per channel for the DAQmx write that VI is set to 400. I used "Creat an analog Signal" express VI into the loop timed to generate the beep signal using a 4000 Hz sampling rate and number of samples of 400. The FFT of the acquired signal was clean with almost no noise inside.

Now, I changed the above parameters such as the VI can be used for real-time closed loop control. So I reduced the samples per channel in all cases to 1 and use the clock 1 MHz with 200 micro-sec period, acquisition and generation at 4000 Hz. However, evaluating the acquired signal FFT, I realized that it contains a lot of noise, while the previous code with 400 samples per channel contained no noise for a frequency to 1000 Hz band.

I think that the problem comes from the high sampling rate with the small number of samples per channel for the writing VI DAQmx. My feeling is that the DAQmx doesn't have enough time to write all of the samples in the buffer. I tried different values for the timeout for DAQmx VI (reading and writing DAQmx) in the timed loop, but it did not work... I gave the last VI here. Can someone help me where the problem is?

Also, is it possible that I can monitor the actual values of the data written (i.e. the output of writing DAQmx)?

    Thank you

You mentioned the loop is expected to completed in 330 microseconds. If it is not designed to finish at 200 microseconds based on the period of your timed loop? It would be the best way to control real time loop to connect an indicator to the duration of the iteration inside the timed loop.

It seems that you have configured your VI DAQmx of Timing to get a sampling rate of 4000. You then write a signal with respect to 12000 s/s from the node to create an analog Signal. I recommend you keep these two consistent values. If you are wanting to read/write data at 4000 Hz, which would be linked to a period of 250 microseconds. You can increase the length of your timed loop 250 or more.

You can attach a screenshot of some data that you had who had less noise for comparison purposes?

  • Micro SD XC questions - can not read video files

Please forgive me for being a noob here on this forum. I did a search and could not find any info on my problem, so I'm posting here now...

I have bad to write video files (MKV, MP4, etc.) to the external mic card SD XC that I use with my SanDisk Media Player. The first few files that I am writing to transfer SD card and play well on the media player and my PC (I use VLC). After about 10 GB or more data has been transferred to the card, copy the files, but they will not play. VLC tells me that he does not support the video format "undf".

I use a SanDisk 64 GB micro SD XC card spec'ed at 30 MB/s (in the format exFAT). I have two of these cards and they both have the same behavior. I also tried the HC cards (formatted NTFS) 128 GB at the same result. Nothing seems to work as expected. What I'm doing here wrong or missing? I faced this problem for weeks and its driving me crazy!

where did you buy in origin? packaging for fake cards look pretty true these days. You can contact sandisk support and they can help authenticate cards.

  • Is this true? SanDisk 32 GB, Micro SDHC card class 4

I can't find any reference to a version of the 4 SanDisk 32 GB Micro SDHC Card being pulled out of class, but I found a store that sells.

    http://www.scorptec.com.au/computer/39895-SDSDQM-032g-b35n

Can anyone verify if this is real? I don't want to shell out the money and find out her fake - I hope the number of model can help to check it out.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

SanDisk has recently changed all the speed class in many formats, such as SDHC and microSDHC.

Regarding the microSDHC 32 GB SanDisk class 2 has been improved until class-4, but in any case important to say that the class means it s minimum write speed guaranteed but not max. speed.

We did some tests of comparative analysis with the HC 32 GB class 2 microSD and the results were:

    Read 13 MB/s - writing 4-5 MB/s

    Results obtained with CrystalDiskMark 3.0

This proves that class-2 is on the minimum speed, because in this case the results said that this card is a Class-4 in fact that the write speed was about 4-5 MB/S.

Most of the stores have the 32 GB microSD class 2 in stock, and the class-4 is easier to find in the stores.

I put two photos of SanDisk microSD 32 GB class 2 and class 4

    Note that changed part number:

    SDSDQ - 032 G-E11M: microSD HC 32 GB class 2

    SDSDQM - 032G - B35: microSD HC 32 GB - class 4

    Here are the pictures:

And it's class-4 with the new small blister version:

  • Sansa Fuze + micro SDHC, HELP!

    Hello!

I bought a 8 GB Fuze and I would buy a micro SDHC too.

I don't know which would be better:

(I've heard; a Sandisk card no may be insufficient for the "rocket", so I think I'll buy a Sandisk card).

    I need of 8 or 16 GB.

There are 8 GB class 2, 8 Gb Ultra (probably class 6) and 16 GB class 2. (Ultra 16 Gb is too expensive).

Would be class 2 too slow, speed of at least 2 MB/s? For the music. I don't know, but the 8 GB: less than $20 and the Ultra is about $30.

The 16 GB is almost $50, quite expensive not to mention Ultra.

I think that 8 GB should be enough, but more space is better, just don't know is class 2 good, or rather Ultra?...

Would be better to buy an 8 GB Ultra and expect that the price of the 16 Ultra will be low?

    Thank you!

You need not Ultra card for this purpose. Class 2 is fine.

Ultra cards for photographers and videographers who need to write much about the FAST card.  All you are doing is loading music on the map via the USB port of your computer, and the speed of writing on a class 2 card can easily handle this.

Then buy a card that is slower, larger, depending on what you can afford.  It must not be SanDisk, but avoid brands without name or alleged false (like cards strangely cheap on eBay).

  • Installation of a micro SD, by a complete beginner

Hi, I installed never a micro Sd Card in my life.  I have a sansa Clip + 4 GB micro SD 8 GB of Sandisk card class 4.

First of all how he go in, writing or strips of metal upwards?

Secondly, I believe that I have to download a software, that there is a password and web address in the package.  What I need to first install the micro SD card, then connect to pc (Windows 7) and go to the site or is the software for the pc and the clip has no need to be connected.

Thirdly if I install audio books on the micro SD will be are they bookmark as they do in internal memory?

Sorry too sound so ignorant, but I'm a complete newbie to mp3 and micro SD

No, there is no software required.

As long as they are properly marked (ID3 tags) and placed in the folder of Audio books on the map, as they must be in internal memory.

  • expansion card MAX capacity micro SD for Sansa e280v2 with firmware 03.01.14

You just buy Sansa e280v2 with firmware 03.01.14 and try to buy the expansion micro SD card. Found all kinds of answers here on the forum of "anything over 2 GB will work" to "up to 32 GB is OK". So, that is it 2 or 32? Moreover, makes card manufacturer questions? What is important to search the map?

I'll take the class 6 to off the mark on the class name brand 4 If the prices are the same.  Check the small print, too.  In particular, look for the actual reading and writing speeds listed for cards, if this information is available.  If the seller does not list a lot of detailed information, try the manufacturer's website.  I think that the writing speed is more important than speed reading, as it will be when writing files on the card are you more likely to get impatient waiting for the transfer at the end.

If I were you I would go ahead and update to firmware 3.01.16, too.  It could have been a related bug fixes SD card.

  • MacBook Air will not recognize Micro SD disk in the format exFAT

    Hello

I have a new camera of Campark Xtreme (like a Go Pro) who uses a Micro SD disk in ex FAT format. My 3 year old MacBook Air does not recognize the disc in this format. But to reformat, I need to erase all the content on the disc. When I put the disc in the camera, the camera will not work unless I have reformat the drive for exFAT.

My computer is 10.10.5. So my husband. We have the same problem on two laptops.

    Anyone have any ideas?

The Mac can read and write to exFat without problem. The problem is probably that the card is too recent for the readers into your computers.

Fortunately, a new stand-alone USB drive which takes care of these maps is cheap.

  • I copied and pasted a spike in emails, he decided to leave Chinese writing and it now appears in each email.

I took a photo for a small ad for the customer, I pasted the email that it transposed in Chinese Web site looking for writing! whenever I have create an email that appears at the top all the time can not get rid of it!

Hi I had this problem too.
I try to copy something else, and then you restart computer I should be working.

  • When writing an F9 email no longer displays the address book unless in safe mode, how do I solve this problem?

I tried to search the frequently asked questions and did a search first. It did not work, what I found F9 turns the initial contacts on and outside, but does not solve the problem with the component being wrong.

Until a very recent update (last week or two at the most) when I type writing, the contacts pane in the window of writing have shown my address book. Now it shows some kind of research, that I can't use because I have to see all the entries to see which ones I want to send an email. In some cases, I have multiple entries for a person based on their having several email for different types of e-mail addresses. Try to remember those who want DOESN'T WORK for me. I can't get this behavior in safe mode. As an alternative, I need Thunderbird to save my setting of safe mode, so I don't have to reconfigure the SafeMode whenever I have to restart windows or restart Thunderbird. I currently come in default safe mode

I tried to remove and then install an older version of Thunderbird and the pane bad contact on the left was there. I can't find any setting to change the part of that wrong at the old I need. I would rather not try to reinstall win7 pro from scratch for this problem, assuming that would fix it.

    I am running windows7 64 bit pro

It was very strange. Now things work properly and I don't know why. I want to thank everyone for their help. The image shows the first letter of the contact you want on screen messages write with the address list. Before it wasn't to show a list of addresses, just search options to search for address books. I think I'm more confused then I was before. I'll try a reboot and see if the message of Scripture remains fixed.

Once again, thank you for all the help and hope that the correction is corrected.
