wrong time in ISE

Hello! Anyone know why the clock in ISE CLI and ISE WEB is different? I have created NTP and time zone after that checked the correct time in CLI, but in the GUI WEB time is added to 1 hour. How to solve this problem?

Hello

For certain timezones, example Asia/Novosibirsk, ISE will show the correct time on CLI but the wrong time on GUI. GUI will be one hour behind CLI.change it to one of the timezone with GMT value inside (show timezones), for example Etc/GMT+6change it other timezone for example: Asia/Qyzylorda

    Hello

The date and time settings would cause problems of synchronization with Eprint if incorrect. The date and time should be accessible from the Preferences menu.

    Try this

    Power reset

    1. Without putting off the product, disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
    2. Wait 30 seconds and then plug the power cord into the back of the product.
    3. If the product is not already on, press the power button to turn it on.

Now, try to change the date and time and check.

    Where this fails, try this

Setup > tools > restore defaults

Try to set the date and time of return

NOTE: This will remove network also settings so you need to redo the configuration of the network

Check your regional settings in the control panel. Make sure that your time zone is set to which your PC is actually in.

If your time is changed after turning off the PC, it can be that the battery of your PC that keeps your clock "ticking" is dead and must be replaced. For desktop computers, it will almost certainly be a CR2032 and be something relatively simple to find and replace. for laptops, maybe it's not a CR2032 and may be very difficult to find and replace. Whatever it is, when in doubt, consult a technician, ideally one that you can get a recommendation for. I would have thought 10 dollars (including the battery) had to do for a desktop computer. A computer laptop pourrait be much more expensive, both for the battery and work.

  • How can I change the time on a printer of 8620. I selected inadvertently the wrong time during the Setup

When you step through the startup process of the printer, I chose the wrong time (an hour out there).

Without doubt, it is used in faxes etc. of timestamp.

How can I change this? I tried the settings on the LCD screen and it has not found here?

I also looked through the embedded Web server and couldn't find there either.

    Am I missing something here?

  • XPS 13 wrong time and fails to restart

Two years ago I bought this XPS and I was doing pretty well, until lately.

    1. the BIOS time is false.

I need to change the CMOS battery?

Any suggestions on the type of battery, things to do and not do?

    Thank you very much.

Hello Nice of you to hear.

    We want to say,

at Dell, we don't sell the CMOS battery in a separate part, it always goes with the motherboard. Of course the CMOS battery can be removed from the motherboard.

What is meant by locally is to check in a store of the local computer to the CMOS battery.

If you buy from Dell, you must purchase the motherboard that we do not sell CMOS separately. hope you got my point.

Update of the BIOS is to the question of the time clock wrong, because the settings are stored in the BIOS (as we mentioned it may or may not work).

We are suspecting motherboard to be the issue in the light of these two questions, but you can first try replacing the cmos battery only, if still the same then consider replacing the motherboard.

  • Satellite Pro M30 - real time clock shows wrong time

    Hello!

most of the time I am using my Toshiba satellite pro m30 without the battery with the energy of the power system. the battery is stored somewhere outside of the computer for a month the real time clock shows a bad time if the computer is started after a period of time.

I think my cmos battery is going to die soon.

someone has an idea, how this cmos battery can be changed by myself?

    Thank you
    Reinhard

    Hello Reinhard

I agree with you. It is time to replace the CMOS battery. It is not easy and the machine must be dismantled. If you are not familiar with the procedure for disassembly, it can be dangerous. A small mistake can result with damaging material.

If you want to do it alone, you do so at your own risk. Be sure to use the right battery. Maybe you won't believe, but if you use a battery hurt it could cause battery explosion, or other damage.

I'm not 100% sure, but the RTC battery must be placed on the left side near the touch pad. If you want to only please be very gently. The laptop parts are very sensitive.
