I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L655 is one year old and its operating system is Windows 7 home Premium I have Comcast internet service and use a NetGear wireless router.

  • Cannot stay connected to the internet

I have an Inspiron E1505 w / windowXP.  I use an Intel Pro wireless connection. Through a Linksys router.  When on AOL or IE, I get finally starts off.   Sometimes, but rarely I can stay connected for an hour of time it starts me after 5 min.  All the various moments. Sometimes it boots me to the blue screen.  I have connected via ethernet directly and did not have this problem.  This problem has been for about a month or two, the previous year that it worked perfectly.  So I guess it's in my wireless connection.  A Tech asked me to completely restore my computer but I am hesitant to start it if it could be something to the difficulty. I restore to a checkpoint two months back.  This did not help.   Any ideas?

  • Cannot stay connected - El Capitan

Our iMac mid-2010 has recently developed a behavior where if a user connects, he will accept the password, go to the screen of the user, but in the 10 to 30 seconds will gray out and return to the login screen.  There are 5 user accounts on the machine and it happens with all of them.  We do not add any software or hardware that we can think of that would have triggered this.

I have (1) run the Disk Utility first aid SafeMode (I can connect mode without failure); (2) reset the NVRAM; (3) attempted to delete the launchservices.csstore files in the private folder.  I'm under 10.11.6.  My original CD are for Snow Leopard, which I have not tried to use again.  I have 2 months, Time Machine backs up that if we return to that would be ok.

Any suggestions on how to approach this?  Or what it would cost to go to the Apple Store?  The machine is 6 years old and works fine, but I wouldn't put a lot of money fixing vs possibly buy a new one.  Thanks in advance.

Make it a full restart or just cycle back to the login screen?

  • Cannot stay connected in my Yahoo.

I use MY YAHOO as my home page. I connect to Yahoo and also check the box to me signed to keep. If I close the browser and then reopen them later, I have to log in again to return to my personalized MY YAHOO page. I'm not delete all cookies. I can't seem to understand what I put (or not) in order to avoid this. I don't have this problem with other browsers. I prefer to use Firefox. Any suggestions?

Based on your 'more system details', you have Firefox set to automatically start in private browsing mode. Although Firefox seems to work quite normally, cookies stored in private browsing mode are deleted when you close the last private window.

To switch the way you manage privacy, you can open the Options dialog box on the Privacy panel using:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > privacy

Change of "conservation rules: never remember history" to "Firefox will be: use the custom settings for history".

Then uncheck "Always use incognito mode" and (after a reboot, I think) change your cookie settings and history at your convenience.

What I suggest is to change the duration of General cookie to ' keep up: Firefox is closed. Click on the Exceptions button and enter in yahoo.com , then click on allow to make your Yahoo cookies are saved according to the expiration defined by the site.

    Success?

(In some cases, you will have to go in show Cookies and delete existing Yahoo cookies before the site can define those persistent.)

  • Problem to stay connected to the internet through the wireless router.

I'm having a strange problem.  My computer will stay connected wireless for anywhere between 2-30 minutes before losing connectivity.  However, it works when I plug it into the router, which is what I'm doing now.  I have tried everything I can think of to eliminate the problem, but it has not changed.  Usually, once it shuts down it will stay off until I have change the frequency of router or something.  Reset the router works every time some time, but nothing is definitely the problem.

I disabled ipv6, reset the router, update windows, restarted several times that I have unplugged router and modem, reconfigured frequency channel of the router, among other things.

It must be a problem with my computer because my roommate both have computers that are working properly.  In addition, it is a relatively new problem.  I've had my computer for a few months now and it has worked well up until that 2 days ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Photosmart B210e stay connected to the PC (wireless)

    Hello

I'll give you my specs first:

HP Windows 7 64 bit hard PC connected to the security of WPA-PSK/w N + Router Belkin Wireless.  The printer is connected to the network wireless about 15 feet from the router.

I have problems with my Photosmart B210e stay connected to my computer.  The only way I can get my computer to see my printer is to restart the printer.  After the printer starts I can print from my computer for about 10 minutes.  After that the computer can no longer maintain a connection with the printer.  According to the screen on the printer, I'm always connected to the network, but when I try to print I always get an error to the effect of the computer cannot establish a connection with the printer.  I have to restart the printer if I want to print again.  I don't have another computer to install the printer, but I can send an e-mail to my printer from my phone which will print when my computer does not see my printer.

I had the printer for a little over a year and it has always done.  I don't post things very often, but I still don't think it is necessary to be able to the printer whenever I want to print cycle.

According to the Product Support page there is an update for my printer.  When I try to update the printer from the screen, he says: my printer is up to date.  I tried to update several times and it has NEVER been an option to update, so unless that updates are automatically applied I'm not sure why my printer cannot find the update.  On the product page there are also drivers of the 11/2010.  I bought my printer from Best Buy in 01/2011 so I don't know if I have the latest drivers.  However when I try to download and install the installation always fails me give no description as to why it failed.  He told me then it downloads a solution to the problem and installs an icon on my desktop.  As soon as I click on this icon, it says that it cannot be used because there is no internet connection, which is not true because I can open a browser and surfing very well.

-J' tried to activate power saving mode that didn't work.

-J' I attmepted to run the HP network diagnostic utility.  If I run it, as soon as I start the printer it works and shows that there are no errors, if I wait 10 minutes and try to run it does not find my printer.

-J' I attmepted my printer of the assign a static IP address, I still have the same issues

I'd appreciate any help that could be given, thanks for your time.

  • If 2 Airport extreme can stay connected to each other using their LAN ports?

    Hello friends,

I would like to know if 2 Airport extreme or 1 Airport Extreme and Airport Express can stay connected to each other using LAN ports at the ends? I thought this is the LAN port 1 connected to the WAN port on the 2nd.

    Thank you

To clarify the issue and the scenario, one of my friend described a typical scenario in which there are 2 AEs. AE1 has an ISP in its port WAN and AE2 has a different ISP in its WAN port. This 2 AE can mutually connected between them by using ports LAN AE1 and AE2 ethernet cable? He said this could be feasible if AE2 remained in bridged mode, without using the ISP attached to its WAN port. I just don't get how this is possible. Friends of the search help.

  • iPhone will not stay connected to the internet?

    * Posted on MacRumors forums but no answers *.

So basically since a few days my phone sometimes don't remain not connected to the internet network of BT-Hub3. I connect to it and then sometimes, it will stay connected for a minute for a few seconds and then disconnect. When I go to the wifi thing it seems available to connect to. After a couple of times that to happen, it will say wrong password (this is the password) and disconnect me and then I have to type the password. Repeat to infinity. It's honestly so frustrating.

Sometimes it will stay and be fine but his is happened twice in the last few days and never happened before with any phone I've had.

I try my phone with my BT-Hub4 internet network and it will stay connected. The only problem with this is that the internet is further (bottom), so has a low connection that does not charge anything unless I lean on my bed.

Initially, I assumed my internet pick, but I'm typing this I am connected to the network BT-Hub3 without disconnect him, even once.

I had the phone for a year and 2 months (previous owner had since October/November/December in the year of release) and recently got a replacement of the unofficial battery if this of any help. I also still have my phone on the low power mode. The phone always properly connect to the BT-Hub3 network even with unofficial battery and low power however mode.

I had several other problems with the phone (camera, apps download not heat no reason apparent, random battery drains despite the new battery in just 3 months and has the same problem with the battery, slow Touch ID that apparently is not normal), which most recently happened.

I had all the settings to reset a week or two ago but surely if who messed with my settings internet I would have had the internet issue earlier? Not sure if I should try to reset the network settings. I hate this and only do if I need to.

One last note, I have the latest version of iOS so ignore saying his 9.3.2 on

    Hi pinkdolphins0400,

Thanks for posting in the communities of Support from Apple! I understand that you are having problems with your iPhone does not stay connected to your internet connection at home. I use my home Wi - Fi network to stay connected, so I use all the cell data, if I can understand wanting to make sure that you are able to stay in touch. I am pleased to provide you with a few suggestions for you.

The first thing I recommend you do is follow the steps described in the following article. It seems that you have already experienced some of these steps, but I want to be sure that you have covered everything.

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi - Fi network

Since you mentioned that your iPhone will stay connected to your network to another, you can take a look at the network settings for the one that you are having problems staying connected to. Article below provides information about network configurations suggested for Apple devices. You can also check with the manufacturer for your BT 3 - Hub see if there are updates that must be performed. This can cause problems with disconnects.

Recommended settings for the WiFi routers and access points

For other problems you mentioned (apps do not download, camera, battery draining, contact ID, etc.) reset settings was a big step in troubleshooting to try. If these things are always happening, I recommend making a backup of your iPhone and then restore it via iTunes. The backup will ensure that your data is saved. When you perform the restore via iTunes, you'll want to set up as a new device (temporarily), and then test it. Once you test, you can try to restore your backup. You can find all of the information below, you will need.

The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

    See you soon!

A detail as a website to remember you (automatically log you) is stored in a cookie.

You can use these steps to make a Web site recognize and remember you:

    • Create a cookie 'allow' except to keep these cookies, in particular in the case of secure websites and when the cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
    • Tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions

In case you use 'Clear history of Firefox closing' or otherwise to clear the history.

    • do not delete Cookies
    • do not delete Site preferences
    • Compensation of the "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, installation of software, passwords, and other specific data from Web site.
