WRT160N - LAN and WLAN of separate networks.
Hello, I'm currently trying to install my printer for each computer on the network. I was able to do that with every computer that connect wirelessly to the network. I'm now trying to get the no wireless computer configured to use this printer.
I just found that the WLAN and LAN networks are separated from each other. Which means that computers on the same network wireless and no wireless on one. I don't want that.
Any help is appreciated.
Go to the computer on which you have connected to the computer on this computer, click on start - RUN - type "ipconfig" and note the IP address... Now, go to the computer on which you want to share the printer and on this computer, click on start - RUN - type "\\IP of your computer" and click OK... It will show you your printer, right-click on it and click 'Connect' and it will be mapped to the printer on your computer... Once this is done now, you should be able to print from your computer.

I have a problem.
I ve downgraded my Toshiba Satellite A5222 C55T for Windows 7 64 bit and it does not have many pilots.
Windows does not recognize my network connection and it didn't install my wireless driver.
Maybe I need a chipset driver, but I found no drivers for windows 7.
Please help me!
If Windows 7 has not recognized the LAN and WLan card, you have not installed the proper drivers.
A5222 C55T satellite is the portable American model.
The drivers can be downloaded from the Toshiba help page we: [Satellite C55T-A5222 | http://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=1200005866]
Choose here the drivers / updates & filter by Windows 7 64 bit (left)
Now you should get all Win 7 64 bit drivers for Satellite C55T-A5222
I have a little old... computer laptop Toshiba Tecra A2 of second hand and apparently his need for an ethernet controller and network controller player.
I used the website of toshiba to download many drivers for this laptop model successfully.
I installed all - but I apparently still need these drivers. Where can I get.
Or where could I go to find them?
Thanks for the replies ^^
PS, its windows xp professional
Ethernet controllers are card LAN and WLan card.
If you install the Wlan card driver and the car LAN driver.
The European driver Toshiba page provides all the drivers and they work for you.
Check again the European driver of Toshiba page. Choose your model of laptop, choose the XP and download the LAN and WLan driver!
The drivers can be installed also in Device Manager.
My problem is that all of a sudden all my network interfaces have stopped working. I don't think that my operating system is the problem because I run linux as well as windows and it does not work in any of the 2. Both my local network and my wireless lan doesn't work, please help.
It's really rare that two devices; LAN and WLan stopped working and in Linux or Windows, you can use these cards.
In my opinion, your laptop is OK, but I think that your router to malfunction.
It would be the most simple and plausible explanation.
Did you check the configuration of the router?
I have recently reinstalled windows Vista Home Premium but now I have a few missing drivers.
The graphics card and Lan and WLan are missing.
I download and installed the Lan and the controllers of the graphics card but I can not find the right WLan.
The problem is that the USB WiFi card is not reconnized and shows as "unknown device".
I looked in the property inspector and I found this product shows 2 id values: USB\VID_0BdA%PID_8197&REV_0200 and USB\VID_0BA & PID_8197 and at Port #0006Hub_ #0007 also, under the name of fisical object I find it \Device\USBPDO-9.
I am not sure that this is the Wlan card, but since is the only thing that works properly, I think it is all. I tried intel antheros and drivers realtek, allways relocation previous no conflict would happen, but still nothing happens and windows still doesen't reconnize itm so
If please, what is the name of the card and where can I find the RIGHT controller for her?
First of all really get you all the drivers for your laptop on the Toshiba site:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers
The drivers are pre-tested so I can't imagine that none of them work.
On this site http://www.pcidatabase.com I tried this vendor ID but I can t find anything. Only with the device ID 8197, it shows a Realtek WLAN card so I guess you have to use this driver.
Please check again! Make sure you have installed the SP2 at least and before you install the WLAN driver again, delete all other versions and clean the system using CCleaner.
My LAN have suddenly stop working.
I tried to uninstall the driver and install new on the site, but it did not work. LAN and wireless did not work.
When I tried to install the driver, a message said you found the correct driver, but the file is missing. In addition, there was a message when I reboot: install the protocol driver.
Could someone help me please? I am trying to solve this problem for 3 days.
Thank you! :)
First of all, you should tell us what Satellite a notebook you exaclty and what OS are you using.
Also can you please explain what you mean with your LAN and WLAN didn't work? You have yellow exclamation points in Device Manager or can connect to the router?
I always download latest drivers on the Toshiba site. Did you do that too?
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers
Before installing a new driver, you must remove the older version first. Then restart the laptop and now you can install the latest version on the Toshiba site.
I recently received this A210-17I (PSAFJE) for Christmas, but to my dismay, it was not compatible with most of my computer games, I decided to downgrade to Windows XP, after reading about how I could do this, I decided to do it myself.
So far everything works great, with the exception of 2 factors.
The controller Ethernet and RTL8187B_WLAN_Adaptor, which appear as unknown devices in Device Manager.
I installed ALL the drivers for download from Toshiba for this specific model page and I have operational including graphics and sound rest.
The WLAN adapter is strange for me, I downloaded this driver: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=1&PFid=1&Level=6& Conn = 5 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false & downloads = true (the bottom one for Windows) and it seemed to install OK with the provided setup.exe. But the device is still unknown, and it will not install if the folder "Update Driver".
I have no idea what to do about the Ethernet controller :(
Thanks for reading.
* EDIT: Fixed; D *.
Looks like you have already decided to install a compatible driver of LAN and WLan.
Am I wrong?
It of good to know that the problem is solved
My problem with TECRA S2 is only there 5 minutes before my LAN and WLAN works! I've tried everything (updated BIOS, LAN, Wirelles etc...)
Does anyone have an option to solve my problem?
And what happens if you reboot your router? You must wait 5 minutes yet?
Hello. My name is Alice.
I have a Toshiba Satellite C660 - 2 4 laptop and I use Windows 7-32 bit.
I have a small problem when you install the LAN and Wireless drivers. I chose the correct drivers, but after their installation, nothing happens. It stills shows an exclamation sign on the network controller and the PCI of Simple Communications controller (which I believe it is the wireless network).
Please advice. Should I install a different Windows?
Your laptop is supported for Win7 32 bit, so you can use it. I can see your laptop didn't come with preinstalled operating system.
My advice to you: Reinstall Win7 32 bit and install all the other stuff following this order of installation:
TOSHIBA Bulletin Board
Chipset SW installation utility
Intel Management Engine Interface
Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver
Realtek Audio Driver
TOSHIBA supervisor password utility
TOSHIBA HW utility
TOSHIBA Flash Cards Support utility
TOSHIBA Value Added Package
Realtek LAN Driver
Synaptics Touch Pad Driver
Realtek card reader
Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba
Realtek RTL8188CE Wireless LAN Driver - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
TOSHIBA Network Device ID registry tool
TOSHIBA Web Camera Application
TOSHIBA face recognition

TOSHIBA Service Station
TOSHIBA Media Controller
TOSHIBA Media Controller plugin
Enemy WLAN driver please download the latest driver for Toshiba WLAN portal.
One last thing: If some of the things listed is not available, it is not so important.
Please send comments.
We have 2 x R720 of virtual hosts with LOM IPs on the LAN (10.227.0.x) and runs in dedicated mode NIC iDRAC IPs on a physically separate management network - iDRAC. 10.227.2.x and is accessible from the management network. Dell vCenter Management Plugin is running and registered with vCenter a connection profiles - 1 by the server.
When I test the connection profile, he can talk to the IP of LOM, but fails on the IP of the iDRAC. Firmware and guarantee of stock also fail. IDRAC IPs are not the ping requests from the inside of the base of the plugin CentOS.
The script of http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&docid=597574 watch ProtocolEndpoint.bat is correctly resolve the IP of the iDRAC, but obviously he can't talk about it because the networks are not related. So, what are my options here:
- Can I somehow configure iDRAC with a LAN and IP network management (probably spend far using the iDRAC dedicated NIC)?
- Should I just temporarily change the iDRAC dedicated NIC on the LAN, Exchange patch cords, vCenter Plugin do and then come back?
- Is it possible to set up a route network in the CentOS based for the plugin? Get root access to who seems to be not not possible (admin password does not work and account readonly is exactly that, and the command line does not work either) - this combined with some other fiddling network could work
- Other options?
I would prefer if the plugin could speak to iDRAC R720 24/7 constant monitoring, but the main purpose of the plugin for us is occasional updates, amending thus temporarily iDRAC dedicated IPs is an option.
Update: works around this by temporarily putting iDRAC NIC on the local network.
I bought a laptop L300-254.
I installed the LAN and the LAN driveres wireless, but none of them works.
What is the problem?
> I installed the LAN and the wireless LAN drivers, but none of them works.
What does that mean? Are card WLan and LAN card not recognized in Device Manager? Are there near yellow exclamation points mentioned cards?
Or maybe the WLan and LAN card are recognized correctly, but you cannot connect to the internet through WLan or LAN?
In this case, you should check the router settings and configuration!
For me, it looks like the issue of the router if the two connections (Wlan & Lan) n t work!
I have TOSHIBA Satellite L40 - 18W and my 1 - wireless problem not knitting & wired lan does not work.
I download driver and everything is ok, but it doesn't work (when I search by wireless I can't find any network.) My router works fine)
Please help me
It is difficult to understand what you mean by not working do not.
Does that mean exactly?
You are not able to connect to the internet or what?
Usually, if the wireless network card and LAN card have been properly recognized in Device Manager, then the drivers are working properly and the problem could be related to the router configuration bad or maybe some active firewall, etc.
First I recommend that you check the router settings. Check if the router has been configured with the right data from ISP and if all other options have been properly set.
The laptop supports the Realtek Wlan and LAN card.
Check if the wireless card uses the same standard WLan as the WLan router and if the right encryption has been used too.
Can someone tell me what network card and the wireless network adapter used in the
Satellite L300 - 12 portable and laptop L300-17I?
The best info would be the PCI\VEN and DEV - ID specified in the Windows Device Manager.
Can someone help me?
I hope this will help you:
Satellite L300 - 12 p and Satellite L300-17I have the same cards inside
LAN - 10/100MBit BTO (Realtek 10/100 Base-TX)
WLAN - 802.11(b/g) 13ch-RTL8187B Realtek
After the installation of Win XP I need urgently the callee (WIRELESS + LAN) drivers.
Unfortunately, here on the home page I couldn't find it.
You can help me? Have despaired.
Greeting from Stefan
WLAN drivers, you can find the portal of Toshiba WLAN - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
What operating system you have installed? Most of the people need drivers for Windows XP Home edition, and they can be downloaded from the Toshiba support page. Maybe did you install your own operating system Vista?
At my place of work, there are a data server with LAN and internet networking. I want to disable the internet connection before it is infected with the virus.original title: server and virus problem
Your Windows XP question is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the platform of networking on TechNet. Please post your question in the TechNet Windows XP Networking forum.
