  Yes, you can cause problems with your hardware, if the hardware version does not match the version of the firmware. There are the rare exceptions like the EA6900.

  I bought Linksys WRT1900AC (v1) after lengthy deliberations, reading the comments, etc. and to decide that it was the best option for me despite the high price. The main motivation of this has been poor capability wi - fi router provided by my ISP, it's a router single band not even capable of 802.11n which was disappointing because I'm getting a download 80MMbps download 20Mbps down my line.

  I cascade the router to my original router that my ISP also has authentication very rigorous process involving SEA etc. I placed the WRT1900AC Linksys on a static IP address of 192.168.0.254 and in the demilitarized zone of the ISP router. I disabled the ISP router wireless access point and there is no DHCP clashes. The Linksys router provides IP addresses in the range of 192.168.1.xxx.

  Initially, I had problems with WiFi speed, because I expect at least AC devices including the iPhone 6, to get very near the 80Mbps full download speed, but they seemed to be strangled at 25Mbps. I still have not really solved this problem, but have managed to get 50Mbps standing right next to the router. This is after talking to a representative from Linksys on chat support.

  I then started to get intermittent restarts, one every few hours, sometimes she would go too long together 24 hours. So I followed the advice to read here and reset of the router, reflashed the most up to date firmware, factory reset again and finally manually configured the router.

  I was up to 22 hours this morning and then all of a sudden it restart again. He twice again since then, I have currently amounts to this:

  Any advice? Or am I expected a new firmware and dealing with restarts it at the moment? My family is not too fond of restart, even if all devices connect very well, they are much less understand the technical aspects and just think, we have lost a large amount of money on a router that does not work!

  How about you try mode bridge on the WRT router if your use as wired AP. keep the same IP address for the router WRT, just set the bridge mode and then connect the side the WRT router to the router WAN main host. How Im running my WRT currently:

  Hello, I perform certain factory system reset on my router, and when I tried to complete the installation I am stuck on detect Internet step. I have reset my modem also tried with another router and it's works fine, but my wrt1900ac detects the connection just stuck there and Internet white light continues to blink. Any advice?   If the ISP's modem has a built-in router, it is best to fill the modem. Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems: link >http://www.practicallynetworked.com/networking/fixing_double_nat.htm and http://computer.howstuffworks.com/nat.htm if the modem cannot be filled then see if the modem has a DMZ option and enter the IP address of the router gets the modem and put it in the DMZ modems. Disable any WiFi modem from the ISP and filters such as firewalls and other. Also check the routers DHCP IP address may be in conflict with the ISP modem 192.168.1.1 IP address. Check to see if it's the same on the ISP's modem and if the modem cannot be filled, replace the 192.168.0.1 Linksys router ou.0.254.

  looking for some advice on how to use my "netphone" with my WRT1900AC VOIP service?  After some googling, it seems that I have to use a third-party voip adapter?

  For the router that doesn't have built in IP telephony hardware, you will need to buy it separately. You should ask iinet which IP phone that they recommend. On the iinet website, they mention a "ATA" (don't ask me what that means) phone will work. This is why you must contact iinet support.

  Is your iPhoto Library Library on your system drive in the pictures folder? And you have a lot of free space on your system drive? The migration will need additional temporary storage.

  Then drag the iPhoto library icon pictures open to create a new library of Photos of her.

You'll feel so betrayed. I buy my own phone of this horrible person.  Can I change the password via icloud?  (yes they knew my password!).  Can I change the language of the phone and mess with them?  How they have enabled it anyway, I tried ringing but the call wouldn't happen, is that this means they put a new SIM card in, and my info stored in memory?  I tried Googling some of these issues, not vain, alas.  You'll feel so devoid of meaning.  Advice or answers very welcome...

  I suggest you to contact the local police and proceed from there. This isn't a 'friend', and I would put the unit lost Mode. They were willing to sell you the phone. How do have to go before you're ready to contact the police, or lock the phone?

  Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.

  If your recipient has difficulties of Internet connection, you will not be able to use iMessage, unless you also have a link iPhone to your Mac for SMS.

  When steaming audio with AirPlay, the flow goes first to the device host to iTunes to the router Wi - Fi, this unit is connected to. From there, he will travel to the AirPlay "speaker". It's something you'll need to sort in Squarespace - I'm afraid I can't advise on that.
