  Welcome to the wonderful world of HD. I used the 160 before and it's a nice camera. I've been shooting with a HMC150 since 3 years now and I think that squeeze us every bit of juice out of it. A good forum for users of Panasonic's DVXUser.com go there and find the 160 has category and they'll be really helpful with questions from the camera.

  When it comes to HD footage on these cards, finally you will really like each time you stop the camera makes a new clip.
