WRT300N using LWAPP environment

Can someone comment if Linksys WRT300N wireless routers are compatible with the LWAPP configuration?

My school lab configuration uses routers to services integrated Cisco with NM-AIR-WLC6-K9 network as the network LWAP controllers modules.  The controller accepts configuration without error, is not looking upwards or printing see WRT300 AP routers, so can't push LWAP basic config info.  The WRT300s are on and handed over to their default configs.

New: the WRT300N is a consumer router. This is no device business. It does not with the controllers wireless company. It is autonomous.

  • Using an environment variable in a shortcut on the desktop

I would like to create a shortcut on the desktop that uses part of the environment variable in the "Target" text box  I need to do this because the location of the program may vary from one site to the other.  I would like to be able to type the following:

    (\BestPractices\BP.mdb Y:\[MID(%HomeShare%,29,7)]

HomeShare is an environment variable.  But the name of the folder is the 7 characters starting at position 29.  I would like to avoid having to do this in a batch file or other external utility.

    Thank you

Well, no, it won't work.  Why not set up the database using the Runtime to create its own folder? --

  • Cannot use the "environment layer." Selection of out ghosts

I am creating a layer of environment in a project I'm working on that. I bring in a picture, but every time I try to use it as environment layer selection is ghost out. This happens reliable regardless of what type of image that I use, if it is précomposé, etc. There is nothing in any documentation or a tutorial, I can find to explain this. Does anyone have any idea why this could be implemented?

    Thank you!

Layers of environment are available if you use traced to the rendering to your comp. RADIUS you... it would slow down the way of things.

When you run the following command in an event FDM script, an error occurs. If I specify the direct path (i.e. "D:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient\bin\startMAXL.cmd") the error does not occur. But if I open the command prompt and enter the path by using the environment variable (as in the script below), the MaxL script runs fine. It seems that causes an error when executed by API. . I don't think that vbScript will solve strCMD = "%EPM_ORACLE_HOME%\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient\bin\startMAXL.cmd" & strFilePath & ".mxl" correctly. I think that the environment variables can be solved in the interface. FDM is probably literally including the string "% EPM_ORACLE_HOME" in the path.

If you share (read and execute) the file on the Essbase server that contains startMAXL.cmd (or containing a record of the ancestor of this folder), you can use the UNC path: strCMD = "------------"& strFilePath & ".mxl"»

However, if startMAXL is installed on the server, FDM, you can use the local path to startMAXL.cmd.

  • Can I use SqlPlus in Oracle11GR1 traditional development environment?

    Hello
I downloaded Oracle 11 GR 1 material, but I want to write the sql code in the SqlPlus tradition environment which was in Oracle 9i or 8i (who had a history of white color). So how to get this here SqlPlus development environment? The current download and installation SqlDeveloper was installed and sqlplus command prompt has been provided. But I want to use this environment to sqlplus white screen. Please guide how to get that one.

    Thank you.

First create a shortcut icon on your desktop to sqlplus.exe (in your oracle_home/bin directory).

Then right-click on the icon and select Properties. Change these settings:

    Tab: General
Put the instance name in the text box

    Tab: Shortcut
Target: (your oracle_home)\bin\sqlplus.exe userid/password@databasename --< use with caution
       Start in: (your oracle_home)\bin
       Run: Normal Window
Change icon to whatever you want

    Tab: Options
       Cursor size: Small
       Command History, Buffer size: 50
                      , Number of buffers: 4
       Display options: Window
       Edit Options: check QuickEdit mode
                     check Insert mode

    Tab: Font
       Size: 8x12
       Font: Raster Fonts

    Tab: Layout
(Screen Buffer Size is the 'virtual' size of the screen
Window Size is what you see on the screen
having a buffer size of 2000 allows sql plus to display
very wide rows when sql plus LINESIZE is also 2000)
       Screen buffer size: Width: 2000
                           Height: 2000
       Window size: Width: 125
                    Height: 55

       check Let system position window

    Tab: Colors
I like aqua on black, but whatever

    Tab: Compatibility
       Leave all these unchecked

I like to include my user name and password in the determination of objectives, but this can be a security risk, so use with caution.

And some of these parameters depend on the size of your monitor, your Visual acuity, etc so adjust to taste.

Then, edit your glogin.sql file (it is in oracle_home/sqlplus/admin) and add these lines:

    SET serveroutput on
    SET linesize 2000
    SET pagesize 50000
    SET trimspool on
    SET long 50000
    SET tab off
    ALTER SESSION SET NLS_DATE_FORMAT = 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS';

You can use any format you like for the date format, but make sure that it includes the portion of time.

This is also where you put the PASS command to change the column you mentioned.
Something like: COL some_column to 999999

I also have this query in my glogin.sql:

    SELECT d.name, s.sid,s.serial#, p.spid
    FROM v$process p
          ,v$session s
          ,v$database d
    WHERE p.addr = s.paddr
    AND    s.audsid = userenv('SESSIONID');

This info can be useful for some data dictionary queries (such as v$ session_longops).

Then create a directory somewhere to organize all your scripts SQL more than of assistance. As c:\oraclescripts.

Create a permanent environment variable called SQLPATH pointing to this directory.

Every time that you run a script from the sqlplus prompt, it will search this directory if you do not have to call every time.

Now, double-click the icon and try it.

  • Independent migration of LWAPP and dynamic interfaces on the controller 4404

We are currently migrating from a stand-alone environment. Access points currently take wireless clients and put

their right in separate VLANs that SSID that they associate with. Each SSID is another customer

So we are essentially acting as a service provider. We try not to get involved with the functions of layer 3.

Each range of IP of SSID is ordered by a customer or a third party. So far, we didn't specify an address from DHCP server, the client is getting on one VLAN and it is up to the customer to assign their own intellectual property details.

Now that we're migrating to LWAPP I found the following-

-J' need to specify an IP address for each dynamic IP address for each WLAN

-J' need to specify a DHCP server for each dynamic IP address for each WLAN

Because I have no control of the PPE, I put in the details of false dynamic Interface but the correct address of the DHCP server.

    It seems to work.

    My questions are as follows:-

1 / is there a way I can simply place clients in a VIRTUAL LAN using LWAPP equipment so we didn't

get involved with Layer 3 configuration?

2 / I noticed when I got a DHCP address on a test laptop client, the DHCP server is 1.1.1.1. The only thing in the network that I know is the virtual IP address of the controller that is used for groups of mobility. Is this normal?

3/on the controller is the query DHCP has passed from the management or the dynamic interface?

3 / What is the IP address of the dynamic interface actually used for? At the beginning I forge the DHCP server use it as a source, but my setup works with a bogus address.

Welcome to the world of LWAPP! It's a pretty confusing to get, so I hope I can answer some of your questions.

Before directly answering your questions, I want to give you a little if a glimpse as to how traffic flows in LWAPP environment. All traffic LWAPP is placed in a tunnel to the controller (this is why LWAPP APs is no longer need to switch trunk links). Traffic is désencapsulé and sent to the appropriate interface switching environment (management or dynamic). The source address for traffic is changed to match the control interface for traffic must return to the controller in order to get the customer. For example, IP addresses are required on the controller.

    1. think of the controller as a layer 3 switch that masks the identity of its customers. By sourcing all traffic from itself, it ensures that all traffic comes back to him, how it forwards traffic to the client via the LWAPP tunnel. False addresses you entered are actually being used on the network, then you will want to register those with the people in charge. If someone uses this address, it will eventually drop your wireless network.

    2. it is normal. The virtual IP address is also used for DHCP service. Because the controller blocks all emissions, it must the DHCP proxy for each client, where the virtual IP address as well as the need to specify the address of the DHCP server.

    3. I don't know what interface it gets passed on. Maybe someone else can answer.

    4. see above for a description of what it is.

One last thing. What, exactly, are these fake addresses to which you refer? They are real addresses which comes with? They correspond to the VLAN that you places on? You give them suitable default gateways?

Don't forget that by configuring these, they are real addresses on your network that you should be able to ping. And yet once, if the address is duplicated on the network, it has the potential to get to the bottom of your wireless network.

Let me know if this can help, and if you have any other questions!

  • What is the best program to use to create an application?

I want to know what is the best tool to use to make an app for the app store. ? I was using Xcode, but it is a little difficult to use, can someone pls give me some advice. And you must be 18 years old to submit an application?

How skilled are you programming?  It is IDE Xcode, you don't like or the languages it uses?

You can use the Terminal, but if you think that Xcode is hard you won't like, either.  There are some alternative programming environments like Novell or Xojo, but those who are not free, and you will also need to learn the languages they use.  Something like the open framework source PhoneGap is another option, if you use the Internet technologies would do what you want.

Whatever the used development environment, you will need to have the age of majority (18 years in the United States) in order to conclude the contracts necessary to present something to the App Store.  Xcode 7 + will allow you to build and sideload your own mobile applications without needing to use the App Store, but now you are back to where you started.

  • LWAPP AP - DHCP Option 43

    Hello

I'm working to deploy a group of 1242AG APs with a 12-4402. I'm looking to use LWAPP and run the WC in mode layer 3 with deployed on a different subnet access points.

I tried to assign an address (and 43 DHCP option for the IP address of management WC) via the server DHCP of Cisco IOS, but so far this has not been successful.

I was unable to provide option DHCP 43 to the APs. Here is the configuration that I tried to use.

    Hello

I have 5 access-point (AIR-AP1121G-A-K9) in standalone mode (IOS), and now I'm going to buy a controller.

Should I buy a new (LWAPP) software for the APs? Or can I change free software?

The software is free if you have access to the cisco site, or try your dealer.

  • Use HREAP SSID and vLAN

    Hello

I have currently a small deployment wireless using LWAPP 1141 against WISN controllers. The controller is configured with a SSID against a dynamic interface.

For the mobility of the user, the company wants to use one SSID for the movement of personnel between offices

New Office Online to use 3502 configured as of HREAP and local CAPWAPs to next mode switching.

My understanding is that the CAPWAPs require a virtual interface on the controller to CAPWAP > traffic controller. Requires a dynamic interface for users of the site of HREAP setting on the controller? If this is not the case, how an SSID on the controller are mapped to the vLAN on the remote site?

    Thank you

    David,

No problem, so review your comments below really all what you need to do is the following.

Once the SSID is set to H-HARVEST of local switching, and the AP is set in Mode H-REAP follow these steps:

-Under AP Configuration click the H-REAP tab and activate the socket supported VLAN

-The value VLAN native 797 and click on apply

-Under AP Configuration click the H-REAP tab click on mappings of VLAN

-Enter the respective VLAN for the SSID is shown if they are different from

-On the remote switch port Configuration of AP as a port Trunk just like you did with the WLC port (797 of VLANs allowed native and 301.)

The Group REAP H is more important if your use 802. 1 x or authentication EAP type where a radius server is used. You can create a Group H-HARVEST to implement if you want even if you do not use this authentication method.  In regards to the WLC knows it remote. I don't think he cares.

You can see examples of my 3 screen shots attached.

I hope this helps... Please evaluate the useful messages.

  • Good way to use the concurrent data store

    Hello

I'm developing a multithreaded C++ application that uses the C++ of Berkeley DB Library.

In my case, I have several databases that I composed in a wooded area. It is important for me to use an environment because I need control over the cachesize parameter.

I don't need no guarantee of transaction and have for most of the readings, so I decided to use the "simultaneous database.

I first pre-fill all databases with a number of entries (configuration single-threaded phase) and then work on it at the same time (for most readings, but also insertions and deletions).

I tried all kinds of different configurations, but I can't work without specifying DB_THREAD as a flag of the environment.

I don't want to because then access all handles is synchronized sequentially according to the documentation:

"... Note that the activation of this indicator will serialize calls to DB using the handle between the threads. If

simultaneous scaling is important for your application, we recommend handles separate for each thread opening

(and do not specify this indicator), rather than share handles between threads. "

    (Berkeley DB QAnywhere C++)

So I tried to open the environment with the following indicators:

    DB_CREATE | DB_PRIVATE | DB_INIT_MPOOL | DB_INIT_CDB

All data in this environment handles are open only with the DB_CREATE flag.

So, since my understanding this same basic access handles need to be synchronized, I opened separate handles foreach database for each thread (opening the handles is still single-threaded).

In my first approach, I have only made use of the object of global environment. Which does not work and gives the following during operations error message:

DB_LOCK-> lock_put: Lock is no longer valid

So I thought, since the same handle global env is passed to all handles separate DB, it is perhaps a race condition critical on the handful of approx.

So in my next test, I opened also handles separate EPS in each thread (and db handles owned each).

That does not produce an error in db, but now it seems that each thread sees its own version of the databases (I call it stat early in the life of each thread and he sees all of the empty dbs).

What is the right way to use the concurrent data store? Each thread should really open his own set of db handles? What about the number of open handles env?

PS: Without specifying that the DB_PRIVATE flag seems to do the job, but for performance reasons, I want all operations to perform in the cache and do not specify product DB_PRIVATE average of several writes to the disk for my scenario.

Thanks a lot for your help.

CD (simultaneous database) allows a single editor with multiple drives, access to the db at a given point in time.    The handle for the writer doesn't have to be shared with readers.   If you share the DB handle then calls are synchronized, but if each thread has its own handle DB then this is not the case.     Since you have an environment, DB_THREAD must be at the level of the environment.   This will allow the sharing of the environment handle.     This type of error "DB_LOCK-> lock_put: Lock is no longer valid" you can provide us your code so we can take a look.   Also what BDB version are you using?
