WRT320n disappear from network

Hello, ives you a question.

Week last ived had al ot of the problems with the router WRT160nV2 I changed the router Monday last with a new WRT320N. No problems and the downloadspeed of good wlan al start of 22 MB/s. It al works well until this morning I turned my laptop after 2 hours I put it and there is no connection. I look and the router gives no signal. All the lights are on and the wlan works. But when I want to look for connections it doesn't give my network.

Now after 3 full reinstalled i ' VFD has an hour of wlan internet and connections disappeared again. The local network works with al downloadspeed of 35 mb/s which is the maximum speed of my internet connection.

I don't know what to do now, but I'm getting very tired of this problem with the linksys router.

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks Rayman76.

PS I'm Dutch so my English is not that good I apologize for that.

I'm having exactly the same problem (and I'm also a Dutch citizen)!

Is this temporary solution that must be repeated from time to time?

I would like to know the origin of the problem, this overheating of the material? And it will be solved by a firmware update...

Thanks in advance.

  • Flash ReadySHARE disappeared from network drives

Before I could access flash drives connected to my WNDR4500 (v2) by clicking on 'Network' under 'Computer' on my Windows 7 desktop. Since yesterday, the flashdrives have disappeared in this place. I can access it by opening Netgear genius, clicking ReadySHARE and then clicking on the address of the router. Flash drives appear so and I can copy/write normally. It is a cumbersome procedure. That's happened? I made no changes to my system, other than Windows updates to routine.

It turns out that the solution is really much simpler. Instead of addressing the situation through the computer or network, enter Netgear genius, simply click through the ReadySHARE choices and click on the address of the router. When the flash player appears, right-click on it and select "Map network drive." Select any available drive letter and the flash player becomes immediately available under computer.

  • AirPort Extreme can disappear from the network

I have an airport Time Capsule 802.11ac 3 TB, implemented as my router, connected to a cable modem Comcast.  I also three units AirPort Extreme 802.11ac connected via an Ethernet cable and configure in Bridge mode.  The settings were all made with Apple AirPort Utility, using the default settings.  All devices are new, and have the latest version of the (7.7.7) package.

My problem is that one of the SSA keeps disappearing from the network.  The AP utility shows all devices, but unity of the 'room' is still "missing in your network.  When I restart the device by unplugging the, the unit seems to work fine for a little while.

Because the problem occurs on a unit, I think not that it is a question of ISP or OS.

Has anyone else had a problem like this, and understand you?

    It is not uncommon.

There is a real problem with apple DNS...

    What modem do you use?

Actual spending brand and model please... It is probably not related, but it is useful to know the complete network configuration.

Question I would like to change.

    1. your names are too long and contain spaces.

Use any short names, without spaces and pure alphanumeric characters. Names must be less than 10 characters... all names... both network name.

See Pondini for questions that arise with more long names... and that was before Apple changed network SMB.

    http://pondini.org/TM/C9.html

    2. the WAN port on the AC model TC and AE are not reliable.

In bridge, what do you do better move the connection to one of the LAN ports...!

    3. you have an unreliable ethernet cord or if it is installed in the wall a bad Jack which is down to... This happens especially in that self installed ethernet... and even the ordinary electrician has problems... sometimes wrongly wired a pair of broken. You should test all ethernet correctly and make sure have full gigabit connections.

    4. use static IP via both a dhcp on the TC and AE reservation jumpered on the internet tab. Least IP moves the less work THAT DNS must do to stay.

If you have still questions after.

  • HP 15-ac152sa laptop: wifi tab disappears from the network settings menu. Unable to connect to wifi

I bought a new laptop. I connected to the WiFi network with no problems the first time. I have downloaded Microsoft office 2016 (home and student). The next time I turned on the laptop, the icon WiFi in the corner of the screen says "no connection available.

On the tab "network and internet". There is no tab for WiFi. Initially, I managed to fix it by clicking on the 'network card', 'properties' and on the 'power management' tab, I unchecked the box indicating "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. This fixed the problem... until the next time I turned on the laptop. It's the same thing and I am unable to connect to internet via WiFi.

The single adapter in the list here is "Realtek PCI-e FE family controller #2". Still unable to connect to WiFi... Still no WiFi tab under settings "network and internet". Help, please!

So, the problem was finally solved (fingers crossed!).

Yes, the Internet access worked perfectly every time when it is connected through the Ethernet cable. Ultimately I phoned the helpline. They checked for the new driver updates (these have been already updated), restored the BIOS remotely and then restored the device to the factory settings. Start of the fault still took place intermittently. This indicates a hardware problem, and the unit was sent for repair.

The idea was that when the WiFi did not work, the WiFi card wasn't physically visiable in the list of available adapters, nor has the Bluetooth adapter. Apparently in this device, the Bluetooth and WiFi functions are on the same network adapter and apparently those elements should not disappear from the list of available adapters. So the fact that they disappeared together intermittently indicated a hardware problem with the card.

Now that I got my laptop back and I think that the WiFicard has been replaced. Hoping all is well now and I hope this post helps someone else.

Thanks hp for fast and wonderful customer service.

  • Network Wi - Fi has disappeared from the list of available networks

My network name has disappeared from my list of available networks and all 7 of my wireless devices decreased by connectivity.  When I plug in the router, the computer searches the available networks and the indicator light on the Ethernet cable is green, which indicates a good connection, I.  When I click on the connection status icon in the menu bar it says I am connected to my network, but I have "no Internet access.  Simply unplug the router or on the button reset gave no positive results. In addition, my computer is several security updates, for Windows and my package of Microsoft Office when he lost of connectivity, which may or may not have something to do with my connectivity problems, I don't know.  Is someone can please help me diagnose this connectivity problem?  Also, I have a Linksys WRT54G Router model # v8.

In addition to everything above, I notice an unsecured network called "Linksys" keeps coming back when I plug in my router and canning when I disconnect it in the process of disappearance.  Linksys is NOT the name of my network.  This seems awfully curious, why what is happening?

Thank you for your help.  My router was broken, he was not talking to the modem.

My XP machine does not appear on my network more.  My network with both XP and a MAC wireless machines worked fine until I added a desktop Windows 7 computer.  Now, one of my XP machines disappeared from the network and I can not get it back.  I have run the Configuration Wizard from the network a million times, but the device still does not appear.  What I am doing wrong?

    3 ways to recover...
(1.) the easy way, if you're lucky:
Right click on the task bar > click Properties > at the top, click on Notification area > can you put a check mark on the network? If so, you're done.

    If it is unclickable.
    2.) use this tutorial: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/106787-notification-area-system-icons.html
Note: Depending on the version of Vista you have, use the method two or three.
One when you're done, return to #1 above and click on the box.

3.) do a restore ysytem. Choose the date at which the icon was present under your restore point.

  • Printing for Vista Home Premium 32-bit network: Blank document or disappears from the queue

I'm having trouble printing large format HP DeskJet 1000 c, which is connected via a parallel cable to my Media Center/DVR PC running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 - bit SP2 on my printer. I connected with the success of this printer to two different computers, a desktop PC running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - bit SP2 and a laptop Mac OS x 10.5.8. I can print from the local computer very well, but when I try and use the printer on the network, one of two things happens depending on what machine I try and print from:

    1. from Vista 64 Desktop: printing the task appears, treats and disappears from the queue to the local printing on PC DVR. Printer advance a sheet of paper as if he were about to print, then waits with a power indicator light flashes. If you send a new job network, the tip sheet of paper is ejected and the process begins again. If you send a new job locally, the tip sheet of paper is ejected and the local job will print normally.

    2. from Mac OS x: printing the task appears, treats and disappears from the queue to the local printing on PC DVR. Printer does nothing.

Although the process of networking of printers with OS X 10.5 and Vista is a bit more complicated (annoying) it was with XP, I am able to print from the Mac to a printer on the Vista 64 machine very well. Similarly, PC DVR allows you to print to the printer of the Vista 64 computer and a printer connected to my Mac desktop.

I checked the HP site for drivers and since it is a quite old printer, there is no listed for any operating system newer than Windows 2000 (which a pilot has been included with the operating system). Any ideas as to why the PC DVR will not take of the network print jobs? Unfortunately, this complex printer (3 printers, 4 machines) installation is somewhat needed due to the possibilities of each printer and how my home office is laid out. If they did a multifunction, printer laser color large network format, I could sell my soul for what it... But I'm not aware of such a machine available to mortals.

There is a difficulty that recently came on the HP Forums for 64-bit Vista:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/printer-all-in-one-software-and/DeskJet-710-720-810-820-100-series-printers-patch-for-64-bit/m-p/203377#U203377

All you have to is to download the mentioned file and replace some dll with those provided.

The question remains with OS X, but I do not expect that Microsoft will provide no support for this.

  • Desktop shortcuts for items on the network sometimes drives disappear from the Office

I have a number of shortcut icons on my desktop Windows 7 (RC1) to the network elements - some are files on a NAS server, some are mapped as the floppy drives, etc. However, Windows 7 seems to sometimes simply remove all without notice, and I have to recreate all the shortcuts to my NAS articles again.

I wondered at first if this may have been because Windows sometimes would start until all my network devices is available, but when that happens, he scored just correctly icons with a red x to indicate that he could not find them at startup, and as soon as the NAS is available then shortcuts work fine.

However at random intervals, seven of these shortcuts simply disappear from the desktop. All other shortcuts and icons are very good and the mapped drives are always present in my 'Computer' screen - it's just the focused on the NAS shortcuts on the desktop that disappear.

No idea why this is happening?

    André

If you create shortcuts from desktop to removable storage locations such as NAS icons will disappear from time to time because Windows 7 has a built in scheduling the task to clean up unused or broken links.

To prevent the task to run, you must disable the task in the task schedular: Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Task Scheduler
Expand the tree in the left pane until you get to the Task Scheduler Library-Microsoft-Windows-diagnosis.
In the right pane, right click on the named scheduled task, and then click on disable.

  • Shortcut network disappeared from the Office of Windows7

    Hello
first of all sorry for my English, I'm Italian!

I'm a system for a small and medium business administrator. We are moving to Windows 7, because I think it's faster and more reliable than XP... but we have a little problem:
Any customer using a new PC running Windows 7 , are complaining of the same problem (but boring):
Some times generally (after the reboot, but not always) all the 'shortened network' disappear from office without reason.
With the word "shortcut network" I mean: link to the remote folder (folder on a network file server), link to computer from the network or link to my own connections (such as the VPN to my company)
An especially don't bind to the network resources are affected by this problem, [the desktop icon, the internal links, ore file icons, are not affected by this problem]

It happened to me also (on all of my 3 PCs) and I'm really surprised!
I found some forums with the same question:
    example 1 http://forums.techarena.in/operating-systems/1285630.htm
    Example 2 http://www.bdc-forum.it/showthread.php?t=91939
but all have not yet given a comprehensive response

    Can you help me?
    Best regards
    Giorgio

BossDweebe thanks for your quick response. Yes, I mean that!

In general I want to say "link on the desktop pointing to external resources" as:

    link to removabke USB pen
    link to the memory card
link to the computer from the network
link to the shared folder [not on my PC] network.

My idea was this link to clean periodically broken (or does not apparently) of windows from the desktop:

Without doubt, I found the solution for this problem:

You must click the Start Menu > Control Panel and then > go to system and security > administrative tools (bottom) > Task Scheduler > Task Scheduler (Local) (top left corner) > Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows > diagnosis >

(right pane) Right-click on planned > disabled

In the case of the active shortcuts then all desktop external drives such as card readers, usb, CD/DVD player and also Panel readers so items are deleted by Windows 7 when planning
