WRT320N guard drop my iPhone

My newly installed WRT320N (Firmware Version: v1.0.03) keeps dropping my iPhone (3.1) connections. I replaced a DIR-625 which was solid with our 2 iphones. My current settings are:

  • Manual configuration
    2.4 ghz
    Mixed technique
    Auto width
    Auto channel
    Disabled SSID broadcast
  • WPA2 personal
    TKIP or AES
    Renewal of 3600 seconds

leave all default settings as default advanced

I had essentially the same settings on my DIR-625 and no problem
Problems with this WRT320N and WPA2-Personal then the box back to the store... I don't want to settle for WEP128

Use WPA Personal

I dropped my iphone in the water two days back... I tried to turn off immediately, things would turn itself after a few seconds... I let it run out of battery, and finally he was out... I let it dry... Tried to remove the water forms all grooves... It's been 2 days now... I plugged it to load but it is now stuck on the apple logo. Nothing happens... For awhile, there was a red screen of death (I looked at the name) but now it's just the apple logo. This means - my phone is dead and needs a replacement? Any idea what I should do next?

That's right - you need to bring it to an Apple store or Service Center for repair for a replacement (the cost depends on what type of insurance you have and where you are - I mean what country) allowed

  • I dropped my iPhone and now it won't turn! fear a lot what do I do now?

I dropped my iPhone and now it won't turn! fear a lot what do I do now?

Your best bet is to get to a repair facility independent of having your phone looked.

iPhone 4 s are little tough suckers, so you can have just a disconnected, damaged screen or display battery disconnected in the drop-down list.

Your option at Apple is a one off replacement warranty on a 4S which means turn into your phone, pay $199, get a 4 s handed to nine.   It's too much pay for a 4S these days.

In a shop that specializes in independent repair, someone can help troubleshoot your phone to see if it is a problem of display which are highly soluble or battery. Cost-$ 50 - $100 depending on the problem (s).

If you have more serious damage to the Board, then it can be useful to continue given the value of the unit.

How to identify a quality independent repair shop?

Do the research.  Not all independent repair shops are trustworthy, and the quality of the parts they use can vary.  Looking for a store with good reviews, a solid guarantee at least 6 months on the repair and a guarantee to solve your problem or toll-free.  Ask that they source their parts.  Any store claiming to use real Apple original parts should be avoided, as this is not possible.  Independent repair is a fantastic option for comfort and savings, but you have to do some legwork to find a store in your area, given that many of those unscrupulous.

  • I dropped my iPhone 4S and now the touchscreen does not work. Is there a way I can fix it without having to buy another or should I buy another?

I dropped my iPhone 4S and now the touchscreen does not work. Is there a way I can fix it without having to buy another or should I buy another? (my screen is cracked)

From what I see, Apple does not screen repair for any older than the iPhone iPhone 5. I don't see off-warranty, replacement cost for 4 on their page of repair, but I'm figuring you would spend at least $200 to get a new.

Would be better to see if your cell phone operator has the options of upgrade for you.

  • How to drop between iPhones PDF files

I downloaded a PDF file that is (probably relevant) 143 MB to my iMac and fury to my iPhone, and here in iBooks, I tried to dump it to the iPhone from a friend, but when I pressed the button share, the only option available is to print. I have no shared all other smaller PDF files so I don't know if the size is the issue, but how can I dump this PDF file between iPhones? Preference through iBooks.

Well do what I send the PDF to my email, and when I open it I scroll down and click on the "arrow in the square box" at the bottom left of the screen and click on 'Air drop '.

  • WRT320N constantly drop connection

I have a router WRT320N.  He is constantly declining internet connection and it is very difficult to restore when this happens.  Basically, I have to wait is "feels like" reconnect.  If I just wait, the connection will return.

This affects not only wireless, but Wired so computers.

One interesting thing I noticed, is that the login page changes when the internet connection.  If I put the address 192.168.1.1 in the browser when internet is not working, I get a different login page that looks like this:

    Link

My regular connection password or the default password works on this page.  I was not able to guess no more.  This could be a clue for someone who knows more than me on this problem.

I read a few threads on this forum and adjusted the settings in the configuration of the router which have been proposed as solutions.  I don't remember any changes, but that they had something to do with the packet size and PNP or something similar.  I always have problems.

It's really frustrating.  When I need to do something important, I have to bypass the router to get a stable connection.  Help, please

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

I think I have solved my problem.  The Linksys WRT320N router's default IP address is 192.168.1.1.  I changed the IP address of the router 192.168.0.1 and it suddenly cleared up.  I ran two days without a drop of water at this stage.

I think that there is another device somewhere in cyberspace that was the IP 192.168.1.1 and is in conflict with my router.  This is why I would like to get this page to connect to the strange search I didn't recognize when you try to connect to the router configuration menus.  I know that this unknown device wasn't my cable modem because it has an address 192.168.100.1.  I don't know what is the unknown device or where it is located.

So if you have a similar problem, try changing the IP address of your Linksys router.

  • I dropped my iphone 4s in the water, but it still works?

I actually dropped my phone in the water before, but it worked fine afterwards, despite the fact that I have did nothing. I went in the bathroom again today and it seemed to work very well and I don't think anything of it. All sounds have worked, the screen and the brightness seemed fine, and all the buttons work. My wifi worked not briefly, but the wifi in my house is a little wobbly and I turned it works and it was fine. I used it for more than two hours later and it was fine, until I noticed water under the screen. I immediately looked up what I must do, turned my phone off, took out the sim card and began painstakingly dry with a hair dryer (I don't have any rice or silica gel), paying special attention to the battery, but also an opening in the phone. The hair dryer was weak, I kept it at a distance, and I followed it constantly for that phone don't fire no. I skipped, it regularly for about 20-30 minutes, turned to the monitor, and the brand of water has been growing (its in the half top of the screen) and it seems to have disappeared, but I wonder if the water could simply scattered. I have it turn on and off several times and it always seems fine.

I need to know if you think that the phone will survive. Also, I can't afford a new phone or to get it fixed now, so if you have advice that can be performed by an amateur at home, then I'd love to hear them. Thank you.

I think that your phone will probably survive if you used a hair dryer on low, do at least 1 iCloud backup every week, but if you get a new phone, I'm sorry.

  • I dropped my iphone help is there a fix lcd

OK so I have an iPhone 5 c and the screen was cracked already but it worked fine... Well I got in trouble and my father took but in the process, he has been criticized on the counter and didn't return for a week when I got it back it does not turn on so I thought it was dead, I plugged and waited and the screen fired blue with white lines and then turned off and the whatever what els... so I think it's just the LCD screen?

It is exactly what it sounds like. The screen would either need to be replaced, or a set of replacement under warranty. Apple would be able to answer this question. Take a go-Genius Bar to the nearest Apple Store. The cost will depend on if it's just the screen or if he needs a full-replacement warranty. • I dropped my iPhone 5 something in Halong Bay

We were kayaking in Halong Bay and I decided to take a few Selfies us, when all of a sudden my iPhone 5 s or c slipped through my fingers in the river. Fortunately, it was quite a shallow area and my arm he reached after about 5 minutes of panic with the kayak mobile and mobile was going on under the bed of sand.

We learned to blow a hairdryer on it when we returned to the hotel, we did - and it worked gradually. A took about 2 days so he came back 100% to his old self.

This isn't a question, but for people to know that a hair dryer can do more than dry hair and also know that iPhones are geniuses.

    You are very lucky.

  • I dropped the iPhone SE in leather by accident case, and he snapped!

I have a lot of sweat in my hands and I want to test the usability of the iPhone OF, and then he slipped into the Main St, I used it about 5 feet, landed on its side, she snapped. Oh yes, I also saw a fall of leather test case, he survived at 50 ft. What's wrong? There is no screen protector and the case is so thin too and will not help the Apple Store. So should I keep it, or throw it out? EverythingApplePro said he survived. I think he's wrong.
