  I wonder if someone could help me, I recently updated the firmware of our 2162DS switch and since then I can't access the web interface.

  The update was launched via its web interface by using the "file system". The firmware have successfully download, then hung up the switch restart itself. It has a pull-out of Dell console attached to it, if I open one I can see the Logo Dell bouncing like a screen saver, but that all, do not respond to the keyboard or press the key. Tried to turn it on and it, nothing has changed.

  Point still ping replies and I can establish a connection to using PuTTY-ssh, but I do not know his series Admin password and (empty) does not work.

  If anyone has seen something like this before? None of the solutions/workaround?

  Replacement received, configured and it works now. Gave the former as another try with the new cable series... and it turned out that the old/original series was defective! A new poster the boot menu for the KVM through the series!

  Tried that suggests the manual, but in the menu another boon, the option "Boot Alternate" said '[INCOMPATIBLE]' so nothing has really changed... at least I know that the Original is not quite dead...

  Could not revive in any case.

• WRT54G v4 unusable web interface after firmware update

  I tried to upgrade (actually downgrade) my WRT54G v4 firmware 4.30.11 to 4.21.1. When the progress bar reaches the mark to halfway, I got the message saying that the upgrade was successful. However, now the web interface is so messed up that it is unusable. It's a sign that something went wrong.

  Power, WLAN, Ethernet 1, and Internet lights are all green solid, which should be a good sign. After the upgrade, the web interface says "WRT54G 4.21.1', which is the firmware messed up I am downloading. Browsers, then restart my computer, I have confirmed that it is a router problem, not a problem of the browser cache. I also tried to do a hard reset by pressing the reset for 30 seconds button, unplug the router while holding down the button of reset for 30 seconds and then plug the router while holding down the button of reset for another 30 seconds. This has not fixed anything.

  I encountered a similar problem after an update of the firmware several years ago and the fix to upgrade the firmware using TFTP. This time, however, the TFTP utility could not download the firmware. Using a hack that I found on the internet, I have re - download the 4.21.1 firmware, but the web interface was always messed up.   My router model is WRT54G v4. The v4 WRT54G and the WRT54GL are generally considered to be the same device with different model numbers. According to the article of Wikipedia WRT54G, "the WRT54GL is technically a reissue of the version 4 WRT54G."

  I used the firmware 4.30.X for years without problems. However, I decided to switch to the 'right' firmware for my router and something went wrong during the upgrade.

  I solved the problem. I basically just dropped the Linksys firmware and uploaded the DD open source-WRT firmware mini instead. Now everything works fine.

  I just got my new HP printer today and it is a HP Photosmart 7520, which is optimal.

  I was looking online and I noticed there is a firmware update in the support section.

  My question is my printer has firmware ELM1CN1409AR and the HP firmware site is ELM1CN1320AR. Is my most recent firmware or the one shown on the HP support site?

  My firmware is older, should I update the firmware or just to leave things as is?

  I'm not having problems with the printer from now, but I always check all drivers and firmware all my products.

  as long as you are connected to a computer via USB... I doubt that you will experience the problems that are reported SIGNIFICANTLY on the 7520.

  As you saw in my post that you referenced, with a USB connection, the problem of intermittent scanning/printing moved not.

  the version currently installed on your printer, ELM1CN1409AR, is the last (at the date of this post) that any printer 7520 connected to a router will be automatically updated.

  However, please note that for those of us, using a wifi connection from the printer to a router, the firmware version ELM1CN1409AR has not resolved intermittent connectivity issues.

  What version of Firmware were you using before? Although, that would NOT (!) no difference in terms of performance 3D-picture.
  None of the FW which were published in the history of this model, version had a report any upgrades of the 3D image.

  So when you say, that the previous version of SW obtained the best results, there is no reason objective for this hypothesis. Please be aware of this.

  I've just updated my timecapsule 1 TB of first generation version 7.6.7 and my 3 TB timecapsule new version 7.7.7

  Well, since nobody seems to have an explanation, and Apple are not out with firmware update after 7.7.7 and 7.6.7 I decided to downgrade the firmware to the previous version. I now run version 7.7.3 on the new 3 Tb Time Capsule and 7.6.3 on the 1st Gen Time Capsule. So far, the network is stable. Using WiFi Explorer Ii see that they use channel 6 and 8 respectively. Signal is strong and no dropouts have taken place so far. Hope the issue is resolved in the next firmware update.

  As I read in another post: firmware update does not solve a problem, you didn't. However, it can create a problem that you didn't.

  I recently installed the firmware recommended for ElitePad 900 G1 (sp68375.exe) running Windows 8.1 update 1

  System BIOS Update F.50 for HP ElitePad 900 G1 Tablet (c04409743)

  In order to install the update I had to suspend bitlocker drive encryption, which is a mandatory requirement in my workplace.

  After properly installing the update of the firmware and trying to catch the bitlocker encryption, Windows reports the following error:

  "BitLocker Drive Encryption error."

  Wizard initialization has failed.

  The BIOS does not correctly contacted the

  Trusted Platform Module (TPM). Contact the

  I tried to re-download and reinstall the firmware update, but ended up with the same error after successfully update a second time.

  Someone else (or HP) applied this update firmware and can fix any counselor or a workaround to get BitLocker up and run again? My ElitePad is now reported as non-compliant system due to the suspension of BitLocker.

  Known issues with the recent firmware updated for Officejet Pro 8600 Premium of CLP1CN1150CR to CLP1CN1322CR?

  I created the shortcut on the desktop and have printed the presentation and installation Instructions. The printer is connected locally (via USB) to my PC from main office (where I do the upgrade). And I will follow the instructions to make a break my firewall (KIS2013).

  It looks like a simple process, but flashing firmware & BIOS updates on material/mobos make me always disgusted.

  So I'm just now - inquire in advance - of known issues with this particular update or the update process? Thank you!

  New Member looking for advice on where to start with maintenance of Sandisk ssd firmware update.

  I use an SSD on an acer AOD270 netbook. So, small screen, no CD drive etc. I couldn't not, fo are the life of me, get my Win7 starter HDD cloned on the SSD and start with reliability.

  I made the big jump, installed the SSD, installed Linux Mint with all faults, made a few adjustments and controls for noatime and trim and I am very satisfied with what I have.

  I would now like to update SSD firmware. I searched these forums and a couple other places, but I'm still a little lost. Y at - it a kind soul who can tell me the right place to start or a thread where this issue has already been resolved?

  The SanDisk SSD dashboard notifies you when FW updates are available, but it is for Windows only. Since you are on Linux, you can keep a watch on this forum. If a FW update is released it will be posted and stickied at the top of this map. They will post a link to the ISO standard for the FW. You can burn it on a CD or create a USB bootable out of it. Below, a message from FW update for the Extreme Pro SSD for an example. There is currently no FW for the Ultra II SSD update.

• MP3 player does not light after firmware update

  Some time ago my Sansa E250V2 gave me a screen that says the updating of the database. The Sansa would freeze at this point. I finally learned here that this problem could be solved by installing the new firmware. I put the sansa in forced MSC mode and addedd the latest version, 03.01.16. Now I no longer get the update database. Unfortunately, I get a 'Firmware update in progress"which continues until I turned off the unit or the battery runs out.   I finally found a solution. It was frustrating simple. I had to format the directory root in forced MSC mode. I then updated the firmware again and everything worked perfectly. Thank you very much for your time!

  We finally got a first major update (about 160 MB) and the Tablet seems more vivid. However, no one knows exactly what has been updated?

  The mentioned update:
  (1) update Google GMS
  (2) remove Lenovo Appstore
  (3) cannot remember what it was

  The keyboard firmware update had no details on what has been updated

  Also, the questions that we have been always complain have not been set:
  (1) the words not being in the dictionary and still having red lines under can't use spell check
