WRT54G2 Configuration for satellite Internet
I am technician for our unit. We recently bought a package of TS2 satellite internet. We have a Switch Linksys SD2008, hooked up to the modem. Switch, I have 3 WRT54G2 wireless routers in different places in our area of the company. Each router is configured with its own unique static IP and own SSID address and that they are configured to access the internet by mac address. We have 70 military personnel on the system. I divided the 3 routers by Mac address, so there is not more than 25 wizards on 1 router. The routers are connected via a CAT5E cable to the plug of the Internet on the router switch. We can connect to the network and access to the internet, only to later not all internet moments at all. When there is no internet, I cannot ping the DNS server. Are there any other special configuration that I should do for routers 1 router, that we have, you can connect to the router but it will immediately kick back you on the router. I have reset the router and re imput the information only to have do the same thing. I sent the company our situation to have to tell them that the problem is on my end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
On your router, change the channel 11-2, 462 GHz Wireless and under the 'Advance Wireless Settings' reduce the beacon interval to 50 and change the Fragmentation threshold to 2304, change the RTS threshold to 2304 > click on "Save Settings".
Now try to connect to your wireless network and check if you are online. I think it should solve your problem.
If still the same then try to upgrade the firmware of your router, when upgrade you the firmware then reset your router and reconfigure all the settings on your router.

I have satellite internet service and that you have recently acquired a 2nd computer for my child. What is the best wireless router purchase? We do not have game systems or other wireless equipment.
I have a WRTP54g that I used when I had a modem cable and VOIP, but I don't have a home phone and the router slows down my internet experience horribly with the satellite service!
Do I need a new wireless router, or can I work with it?
Thanks in advance.
To upgrade the firmware of your router, you can follow this link.
Recently (last night) given my M100 a clean install with a XP disc.
No, however there are a few driver problems: no internet connection etc.
I was hoping to avoid to make a full recovery, as I don't want all the stuff of processor-downturn accompanying the release of the configuration box.
The reason why I did the install clean was because the thing fell slowly on the first day and I was told by a chapter that it was because there was a lot of unnecessary things running in the background.
I wonder how I can go about setting up my laptop in the most simplified way possible.
I want to only use: Office, internet, itunes, and MS Money.
I guess I need the battery driver thing and really sure without wire/no modem driver, but what else?
If someone could give advice, I would be very grateful.
Is it possible to use the very selective recovery disk?
Cheers for your help.
Well, I would recommend installing common drivers like LAN/WLan driver, driver sound, touchpad, chipset Intel graphics driver.
Here are the key drivers that are really needed.
Other tools and utilities can be installed but it of not really needed and your laptop will work also correctly without additional software.
When I try to play a song that I bought some time ago in WMP version 11 running on the operating system to Vista SP2, in the lower right corner, it says «Download rights of use...» "Then I get a pop up window that says:"Windows media player is not configured for the internet.
"To connect to the internet, run the Internet Connection Wizard, and then try again"
How can I find the Internet Connection Wizard? I am already connected to the internet
DSL. I don't have the registry key to change the binary data, so I am lost on what to do.
Thank you in advance for any help that anyone can give me.
Try the following steps.
Disable firewall, you restart the computer and check if the problem persists.
Turn on the firewall and restart your computer.
Run the internet connection wizard.
1. Open internet Explorer > > options Internet Tools
2 click on the connections tab, then click on the configuration tab.

Hi I am not able to configure the wireless router linksys for my Internet Bill fiber. Please help me.
The ISP gives necessary PPoE and dynamic IP connection. I have the user name and password to connect to the ISP and internet active.
But I am not able to configure the router to connect to the internet. Please help me
Here's what you can try, I know I did it before with a Modem Router but not this particular model.
Make sure you do not connect your computer to your router via an ethernet cable, turn off PPPoE and Wi - Fi features on your computer so that it uses only the Ethernet connection.
Then access the WAG120N page.
I have a question though, when you connect the cable from your modem to the router? Is the DSL port? Or on the ethernet port? If your modem cable is an RJ45 connect it to port 1 on the WAG120N, then on the page of the router you must activate something.
Click Ethernet under Setup, and then select use as a WAN Port, select the connection type in the menu drop-down (select PPPoE). Enter the username and password provided by your ISP, then save the settings.
I searched many hours today in the internet and your forums, but it seems that this problem is not solved yet:
No writable calendars are configured for the invitations with the provider for Google Calendar.
My Thunderbird is 38.3.0 and the provider for Google Calendar 1.0.4.
I put calendar.google.enableEmailInvitations; true but it did not help. I also tried [email protected] @googlemail.com. Calendar works fine, it syncs, I see all the entries etc. But I can't accept invitations even IF she must have write access.
What can I do? Is there a solution for this?
Use CalDAV here to access Google Calendar via lightning. I have no experience with the add-on of the provider.
In any case, it is my understanding that you must assign an e-mail address to a calendar in order to be able to accept the invitations for this calendar. I see that in your screenshot.
You can try to remove the Google calendar in lightning and re-create it. Given that all the data is on the server nothing will get lost.
Or you may want to try CalDAV.
I have the problem of heat for months. I have tried serval OCZ Freeze extreme conductivity compound thermal times there worked in the first week. But the second week, it became worse and worse until the laptop could not start. Someone has suggestions thermal in which the brand name paste works fine for Satellite A200?
Thanks in advance,
I didn't change the thermal paste on my laptop Toshiba still but on my desktop computer, I use Arctic Cooling MX-3. I also read some tests on the Internet on the thermal fat and MX - 3 is still a better. Grease thermal OCZ is also good but the Arctic Cooling surpasses the OCZ.
In addition, it is also important to clean the surface of the heatsink and processor. So, I can recommend the ArctiClean cleaning kit. Use Google to find some online shops where you can buy it. If you can ensure that all of the old thermal grease is removed properly.
I have a Satellite Pro L300 Vista.
If I have problems of major incompatibility with Vista I can swap the readers so I want to set up a second hard drive running on XP Pro.
When I try to set up the XP he sees not the SATA hard drive. I know that it's because XP does not contain the SATA drivers. Couple of questions
(1) I saw a comment that recommendsto change the BIOS for SATA setting to "Compatibility" and this should work. I tried this but did not find it worked - everyone find it works?
(2) where can I find the XP SATA driver? I crossed the XP drivers for Satellite Pro L300 Toshiba's web site, but could not see any SATA driver.
As to the question;
(1) some notebook models containing this function in the BIOS and some don t BIOS that SATA option. If the BIOS has this option, you should be able to put AHCI Compatible mode. Then a SATA driver won't be necessary but also your SATA function would be disabled and HARD drive might work more slowly. So I recommend to set to AHCI, and then reinstall the SATA driver.
(2) the SATA driver is part of the Intel Matrix Storage Manger. You can include the SATA drivers using nLite software. The necessary files of the SATA driver can be downloaded from Intel here page:

I've already reformatted the hard drive and the utility CD to reinstall the modem driver. Anyone got tips on how to solve the problem? An external modem would solve it?
Either way, it's a satellite pro A10
If the HARD drive is formatted, use the recovery CD and reinstall the OS. After that, the modem must be recognized and properly installed. After that, configure Dial connection and check the modem. If the modem is not defective, it should work.
The strange thing is that there is Error 633 which means: the port is already in use or is not configured for remote access remote calls.
Please check this interesting site http://www.modemsite.com/56k/duns633.asp.
If there is no success please write again.
The driver LAN for Satellite A100-787 is delivered with no configuration file and windows hardware installation does not recognize.
I don't know how to install it... Any help?
I guess you are trying to install the driver LAN WXP because Vista LAN driver is not available. Am I wrong?
In any case:
-Create a new folder on your desktop
-extract all downloaded files here
-Open Device Manager and right-click on device unknown you want to install
-find the Install driver button
-Click on it and go to the new folder created
-Follow the on-screen menu
I hope that you can install to ti the pilot FTAs.
I have already looked at my manual, but I can't get a definitive answer.
I went to one of these computers, analysis of Web sites and it claims I have 2 SLOTS where I can put 1 GB DDR II PC2-4200 each (so 2048 MB of ram)
(es http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=Satellite%20Pro%20A100%20Seri) But according to CPU - Z, my laptop contains DDR II PC2-4300 512 MB
But when I recorded from TOSHIBA Web site and entered the serial number of my cell phone, he told me that I had a Satellite Pro A100-196
When I searched for Satellite Pro A100-196 on the internet, I came across a website (http://toshiba.icecat.biz/en/p/PSAACE-00E00DG3/Satellite%2520Pro%2520A100-196.htm) that says that 100-196 a module of DDR II (533 mhz) and that it can place additional modules up to 4096 MB (which means I can't that modules of RAM 2 GB each)
So I would like to know if anyone knows the final RAM MAX (and type), I can place.
The Satellite Pro A100-196 appears to bear the 667 Mhz front bus!
So, you can also use the modules of memory 667 Mhz (533 Mhz is also possible).
I advise to use SODIMM 200 PIN DDR2 modules; 667 MHz (PC2-5300)
You can upgrade the memory to 4 GB max. So it is certainly possible to use a 2 GB into a slot!
I have 4 error codes displayed in hardware, 1 controller network, 2 & 3 PCI Flash Memory (twice) and 4 video controller (VGA compatible).
These are all driver problems, but I can't find the necessary drivers on the site of Toshiba driver. I have lost the original software provided with the PC.
Someone at - he of the good suggestions. I can't use my wireless internet, neither the DVD game, I tried to download as much as I can to help, but nothing fix the fault.
Error code 28 showing all have.
I checked the Toshiba download page, and it has listed all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities for Satellite M30X.
I just hope that you have installed in the correct order. As you can see there are two display (Intel and ATI) drivers. Make sure that you have chosen the right way. Drivers LAN and WLAN are also there. Just start with the setup.exe file and follow the instructions to facilities.
28 "COLLECTION" - the drivers for this device are not installed.
I have a Satellite Pro L670, I need to configure for presentation and having to re - load operating system anyway.
Rather than write the existing drive too much, I thought that it would be best to get a second to adapt instead.
Replace the current (obsolete) rotation drive with a solid state, it seems to me the best way to go.
Has anyone equipped with a hard drive to a Satellite Pro?
For budget reasons, I plan to go for a capacity of 120 GB that will be enough.
However, I've yet to discover at Toshiba they could recommend. Anyone else gone this route?
Theoretically, any SATA SSD drive should be compatible because the laptop supports a SATA controller.
But in some cases, it might be possible that an SSD would not be treated properly. In such cases, SDD drive manufacturers provide different firmware updates
So before buying an SSD drive check the support pages of the manufacturers of SSDS for more details would perhaps have a firmware update
I think the upgrade from my memory of the laptop.
I wonder if I can use Kingston KTD-INSP5150 / 1 G instead of KTT3311/1 G? They are all two PC2700 200-pin DDR SODIMM 333 MHZ but KTD-INSP5150 / 1 G is mainly used for other laptops.
Someone sell KTD-INSP5150 / 1 G on good price reasonable but do not know if it is compatible?
Above all Equium M40x can be upgraded to 2 GB of memory. You need to the MMAR DDR SO-DIMM modules with specification PC2700. You can use up to 1 GB in each of the slots.
Furthermore, I checked the Web of Kingston site because it has Configurator memory. If you are looking for satellite M40x-189, you will get two compatible memory modules:
KTT3311A/512 (512 MB SO-DIMM)
KTT3311A / 1 G (1 GB SO DIMM)
So in your case I would buy one or two of these modules because they seem to be compatible with your computer satellite phone. ;)
As I have a Toshiba Satellite A80 - 121 (PSA80E) configuration for a client, I've found that when you enter the description of the model to the Toshiba driver download area, you get no WLAN driver but a link to a how-to page. Here you have to choose between four different driver files... unfortunately I do not know the name of the integrated wireless LAN device, then... What can I do to find out which driver is the one I should install?
Check the Device Manager or network settings did not help get all necessary information. operating system is Windows XP Professional SP3... any idea?
Thanks for any help / ideas
I think you have a WLan Intel card!
Relative to the European Toshiba driver page you will also find a social driver WLan manufacturing/name and the page said an Intel.
It also provides a possible Intel WLan driver versions; 184.108.40.206 / 220.127.116.11
So download Intel WLan driver from the Toshiba page and choose the 18.104.22.168 or version 22.214.171.124
