WRT54GL Port Range Forwarding?

Hello. In Port Range Forwarding, there are only 10 lines (konfigurating 10 different ports.). What happens if you need to pass more than 10 ports?

Installation of the 3rd firmware like dd - wrt or tomato.
Of course, you should not need so many expeditions in the first instance.

  • Problem LRT224 Port Range Forwarding

    Hello

I have a new router Linksys LRT224 Dual WAN Gigabit. I want to allow traffic to be analyzed on port 9100.

    Connection accepted TCP 91.102.93.5:63261-> 192.168.0. 48:9100 on eth0

I understand that it has accepted my request on port 9100 and sent to the 92.168.0.48:9100.

But nothing happens. When I telnet to 192.168.0.48 9100 inside this works if the printer seems to work fine.

OK, I found the problem. And it wasn't the LRT224. After reset of the printer, I worked :-)

  • QOS port ranges

I want to give priority to League of Legends, a game that uses the ports of between 5000-5500. Does the WRT54GL section "Demand priority" to port ranges. If Yes, I put the range in properly.

You can't port ranges for this type of QoS. Do priority or priority of Ethernet Device instead. The last Routers Wifi Smart of Linksys has for a prioritization of media feature which includes options to set the priority for online games. There same League of Legends as one of the games on the list by default, so that you can choose to set the priority.

  • HowTo: Define and provide a personalized service with disjoint / port range.

I have a rv180 and I'm trying to implement a custom service that contains multiple ports two disjoint (some UDP some TCP), as well as a range of TCP ports. This has lead me to a few questions.

    (1) is it still possible to have a unique personalized service with disjoint ports? He'll just have to set several partial service for this?

    (2) is it possible to forward a port range? How to define a service with a range of ports, it is clear, but port forwarding interface table only allows me to select a LAN port side for any service. Is there a secret notation that I do here which will be just forward to the same port LAN side as port WAN-side - NAT effectively a transfer, but just for the selected service?

    Thank you

    Luke

    Hi Luke,.

    (1) Unfortunately, it seems that you have to implement services customized for each set of disjoint ports and then create rules of transfer for each custom port.

    (2) I'm not 100% sure that I follow your question, but I think I got the essential. Port forwarding will forward traffic on the specific port (service) of your wan IP public designated private IP (destination IP) address. You can restrict the access of calendar or IP ('source to users' - by the host or the beach). Because looks like you have several customized services, you must create a configuration for each service of port forwarding.

    I hope this helps.

    Best,

    David

  • Help to port RV042 forwarding

Hi and thanks for reading this. My VPN router works well but I just need to make sure that port 8443 is forwarded so that my customers from outside my office/domain can access my Web server to generate reports. I have already connected to my router and entered my IP address of the web server with the port enabled in the port forwarding section range. It is said: secondary https [tcp/8443 ~ 8443]-> 192.168.xx.x

It is activated and I saved the day. Everyone in my office and the server can display this site very well but can my clients outdoors. What gives? I really try hard to understand but I have developed with nothing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • WRT56G2 static IP Port and forwarding

    Hello people,

I just installed Linksys WRT56G2 and the wifi works. I managed to send a few ports for my machine for applications and games. However, I always use this address IP special so that I don't have change the settings everytime I connect.

I used a Netgear router before and there was a possibility to map a particular to my MAC address IP address so that the IP is reserved for me. I wonder if there are similar functions in WRT56G2, and could someone tell me how to do it if there is? I heard there is also a way to set up your computer so that it always uses the same IP address. Although it is less preferred (because I use different wifi in different places), could someone please also tell me how to do if the first way is impossible?

Thanks for any help in advance.

    omnific

If you are talking about a DHCP reservation using your computer that will always get the IP value automatically. But your dosent Linksys router feauter is installed. So the only option for you is to assign a static to your computer IP address whenever you are connected to your home network.

  • Address static IP or Port forward?

I have a Linksys WRT54G Router for my wireless network. On my local network, not to mention that my laptop and printer, I have a weather station - Davis VantagePro2 with WeatherLinkIP. This is connected to the router via an ethernet cable and connected to the software on laptop via wireless network.

Currently, everything is set to work Auto Config - DHCP and does well on the wireless. However, occasionally, the router randomly assigns a new IP address to the weather station, and I lose my connection, thus losing the weather data.

When I find out, I can find what IP address it has now affected, go into the software of the weather on my laptop that downloads (wireless) the info and the new IP address, then everything works fine - until the next time. Some time its months, sometimes its days, before that router reassigns the IP address.

The software must be manually set to the IP address and port # in order to receive data. # Port is currently set to 22222.

In order to maintain a continuous connection, it would be an instance to use the port range forward, rather than a static IP address? If so, are there instructions somwhere to guide me through this?

I don't know why it changes the IP address. Maybe the router restarts in silence and then later does not know the old lease. Maybe the weather station does not it is the current IP address during renewal and the result is another. Or the weather station does not renew IP address but begins with a discovery.

You can't set a static IP address for your weather station on the router. If the weather station does not do so it is impossible with your WRT54G. Only the latest models of Linksys have a function called "DHCP Reservation", which would be what you need.

So, if you can not set it to station weather you can't do with the WRT...

  • RVS4000 Port forwarding

I have a RVS4000 put in place as my internet router/gateway to a client of 75 MS Server 2003 network. All network devices receive a static IP address. I used Port Forwarding and Port Range Forwarding on the RVS4000 to allow remote desktop connection to outside network to specific clients within the network. I have used all available space on the RVS4000 software for the seizure of the Port addresses and still needed to connect multiple users more. I bought a second RVS4000 and connected to the first through one of the lan ports, then the network through another lan port.  I have forwarded a range of addresses of the first router to another and then used the second router port forwarding and port forwarding tables range to the IP addresses of each client. Everything seems to be set up correctly and I can access both routers on the network, the individual port forwarding and the addresses of forwarding port on the first router range still work, but the transmitted address range appear not to be through to the second router and then to the customers. What I am doing wrong?

I think the WRVS4400N has an IP based ACL that you can do to open the ports of the PC. It has a capacity of 1 G more but I don't know if the ACL can handle 25-50 PCs. I suggest you try to contact CISCO technical support so that you can be well informed of the router you need to make it work.

  • Open port on e4200

An external analysis lambasted that I have an open port. For security reasons, I want to close it. How can I go about it. I don't know the port number.

Have the port 2420, you forwarded on your router? To double-check, you can access the router configuration page (to get instructions on how to access the page of the router, you can refer to this link: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=3d655af76e21457fa8b71a0c3a2a0c9c_3676.xml&pid=80&r...). Once on the configuration page, click on the Applications & Gaming tab, then check the sub-tabs under it (see screenshot below):

Then check the SubTabs: simple Port Forwarding, triggering Serial Port and Port Range Forwarding so port 2420 is transmitted/triggered. Also, make sure that the DMZ is disabled.

    Hello

    I need further assistance.

I want to free ports for uTorrent.

    I have a router WRT54GC.

I successfully logged in and clicked on Applications and games, and I think that there should I typed port in tab Port range forwarding.

Given that I'm not good at this stuff, and it's my first time there is. I want to know what are the beginning and end for uTorrent port numbers, or where I can find it. I have uTorrent 2.0.3 and I found the current port (for inbound connections) in the installation guide. In the preferences and besides I can't find nothing with 'port' in it.

As for the Protocol, I would (TCP and UDP), the IP address is the same and will check Enabled. Only, I don't know the start and end port.

  • PORT 80 ON EA6350

For the life of me I can't router EA6350 to forward port 80 to my DVR or anything like that. I tried everything under the tab 'security', without success.

If I disable the firewall on IPV4 routers I can get the "'http://canyouseeme.org ' open the tool port to see my network." However, leaving the hardware firewall turned off and then set up "simple port forwarding" or "port range forwarding" to open port 80 causes the port check tool to fail?

I turn on the IPV4 firewall and then it still does not work. The only time I can get the tool to work port is with the firewall turned off and nothing entered IPV4 for 'simple port forwarding' or "port range forwarding."

I have disabled the software firewall Windows 7 to see if it is interefering and it isn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I had a D-link router before and it worked very well with my DVR.

    Enjoy.

  • Maximum number of EA4500 of port

    Hi all

Background: currently have a WRT320N, think about upgrading to an EA4500, assuming a feature has been improved: Port Forwarding.

Script: Currently, I have a router WRT320N, and while he "does everything we need" it presents a restriction that comes in the way: limits on the number of ports address.  In the Panel of port forwarding, it has 15 total lines: the first five lines can be activated for specifically named services (SMTP, FTP, etc.).  The last 10 lines are fully customizable in that we can define the name, port and Protocol.

The problem is that 13 total ports that currently, I need to pass, only one is listed in the fixed list.  So, unfortunately, I can only use one of these first five rows.  I have completed ten custom lines and still need two additional ports (for now, may need down the road).

Try to be creative, I thought maybe I could just more reverses the Port Range Forwarding page and add a line or two.  The only problem: it's bugged.  I found that if the simple Port Forwarding list is filled, then the Port Range Forwarding entries do not work properly.  For example, if I wanted to port 12345 and 12346 forwarded to 192.168.1.5, they work very well with two entries in the single port forwarding.  However, if I delete those, add two lines of port that I need has passed (the single list is new) and add a port forwarding 12345.12346 range, they do not work properly, only ports are closed. The work of singles, the beaches don't.

Question: The EA4500 has solved this problem and either allow more lines (i.e. 20 customizable inputs instead of 10), or, better, does it just a button [Add entry] to allow additional lines to create?  In the current day and age, where a single device (for example an Xbox) can take four lines, a limit of 10 lines is quite sparse.  Comparing it to some competitors, for example the D - Link DIR-825 (aging, but still a lot) allows you to add as many as you want.

I realize 'expensive' firewall SonicWall have virtually unlimited customization, but I not need many additional features and don't want to spend $ 350 on a "high-end" firewall to solve the problem you need more ports open.

Thanks for any help you can give!

    -Dan

I can't speak for the ea4500, but on my e4200v2 I 15 customizable ranks in more the 5 rows together:

As the e4200v2 and the ea4500 are essentially the same from what I've read, I imagine that the ea4500 will have the same thing.
