  You do not change the path in iTunes.  Who does as it says which is tell iTunes where media files [new] store.   You will need to copy your other files on the hard disk before the distribution, you will lose it. When you have completed the process you can put back them on here.

  If you have Windows 7:

  1. Click Start, right-click computer and then click on Device Manager!

  2 right-click where it says device unknown, then do enter internet driver

  (it will say can not find the driver but below will say pilot research myself to list!)

  3. click on search in the list of drivers, scroll down to the Microsoft wireless controller!

  4. highlight the microsoft controller and click on next, a list of accessories microsoft for game will appear!

  5. click on the receiver Microsoft wireless, and then click Next. (it will say: it is not recommended to install the driver because an unknown Publisher, but if you have installed the http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=Gaming&type=Gaming software)
  you know that the pilot came from there! and then... ENJOY!

  The first thing to do is to check if somehow the permissions for the drive Seagate or any of its relevant folders/subfolders has changed somehow (an OS update maybe?)

  I use the latest version of Mac OS X on my iMac 27 ". I use a drive outside of 3 TB G-Tech for Time Machine backup. Due to my recently many RAW photo images, I have less 8% left storage on my external hard drive, so I'm trying to figure out next steps in what concerns the strategy of external storage and have the following questions:

  • When my external drive for Time Machine is full, it is my understanding that older backups on external hard drive will be deleted to make room for newer backups. If the oldest backups contained pictures (whose records have not changed since the time they are initially stored), then I guess that these photos will be removed from the external drive - correct?
  • If I had to replace my external drive for Time Machine with a new external drive which is as big or bigger than the one it replaces, what should I expect on the size of the initial backup on the new drive? I guess the size of the backup would be exactly equal to the current amount of storage used on my drive hard iMac - correct?
  • Would it not be possible to connect the external drive for Time Machine existing at a new Time Machine external drive so that when the original disk is full, the overflow will be automatically stored on the new external hard drive for Time Machine? (If feasible, it seems that this strategy would maximize my external storage capacity vs just replace external drives.)

  I realize that my first two questions are rather basic, but I don't want to make any false assumptions. The third idea is intriguing and I would like to know if this is a viable option.

  the backup drive should ideally be 4 times the capacity of your current drive, twice is good but has its limits. Also factor in what you store: a jpeg from the web and a raw photo file are the two images, the size of a is very different. If you work in high-resolution or large native files, or audio files (record pro, no music files) or video production twice the disk fills up very quickly. If you collect photos and JPEG and mp3 files or a handful of videos not so much is necessary.

  I would keep the old drive intact if you want to replace and start over with a new drive, if that's the plan. You have the old data, you can keep it somewhere safe and have a redundant backup which you can reconnect at any time to restore from. Let the new index drive itself with new data and take if from there, in the case otherwise you can copy the backup to the new drive and set the drive as the new source of backup but personally I wouldn't copy of the data, that's my preference, it may not be yours and that's fine.

• OSX does not automatically mount external drives for a user

  I'm having a problem where external drives are not mounted automatically in one of my user accounts. This is independent of the format of the drive, ability, or port. Driving, if the drive flash, hard drive or SD card, must be installed manually in disk utility. It appears dimmed under external and I select the mount option. Once I do this drive works normally.

  I recommend you to get a new router, ethernet and wireless on this subject.  Who would set will cost you about £40.  Looks like you got just an ADSL USB modem at the moment.  Which, as you have noticed can be kind of annoying, and it's something that will only get worse in the wire of the time that you want to hang more things on the internet.

  You can use sharing of internet connection - which will transform your PC into a router, but in my opinion, you'd be better off with a long time dedicated hardware router.  Use internet connection sharing, you will need to cross style ethernet cable that goes between the PC and the Xbox 360 and you would need to go to the Network Center and sharing-> change map settings-> right-click on your key USB modem go to properties and there you can enable internet connection sharing.   Hoping to get help with this, because I searched everywhere and had not found an answer.  All the work around the items, reference Windows 7 and 8 not XP my Dell Dimension C521 shipped with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 pre installed.  I've upgraded to SP3 of XP.  A friend of mine gave me his old Xbox 360 (bought a new unit).  When I try to connect to the XBox 360 I get an error message in media library "uninstall the update for media center 2005 and then re-install the update of the site Web of Windows update.  Then, re-run Setup for Xbox 360'

  I checked in my under settinds program control panel, but don't see any element for Media Center 2005, even with show checked all of the updates.  I don't see Media player listed and 2 updates for it.  I have disabled the Windows Firewall did not help.  The Xbox 360 test shows that I can connect to the internet, Xbox Live (no NAT problems) and PC running Media Center.  It fails on the media center connection test.

  I don't want to reinstall all of the Dell backup image software supplied with the camera, I'll have to back up and start over.  Any help is welcome!
