  The Instrument Driver Network has all the drivers for the instruments. There is no driver specific to this model, but there is one for the 6310 B. Maybe this can work for you.   As the disk original CD with my HP1510 printer is not recognized by Windows 8 and IE10 on my new laptop, I downloaded a driver for the series "HP1500" using the USB connection and the installation wizard.

  However, while appearing to install successfully, I found soon it there was not any range of printing options that I used with older versions of Windows.

  A good example is when I try to print the pages of a small program guide for a friend that I promised. Editing several pages on a sheet was so hard, that I actually went on another computer in an Internet café to perform the task using files copied to a memory stick, which I of course had to pay, but at least the work was done.

  An update of Windows has received today has restored the "several pages on a sheet" option, but is still very "primitive" because the more I hope that is 2 small pages at both ends of the sheet, I can't enlarge for clarity or align well together.  That I could only manage another computer, "booklet" mode, which does not exist in my 'new' version of Windows, which should not be the case.  Therefore, looking for advice on how to get the full range of printing features advanced experienced with an earlier version of Windows.

  It is an old printer and before Windows 8 even thought, all features are simply not there. The main goal is just to make the same printer compatible with Windows 8, providing the basic features. The best you can expect is updated later, but there is no guarantee that you will never see these options in Windows 8.

  It is connected via the Generic USB-parallel adapter.  The connect Windows successfully installed"assumption of the USB printer"but fails to find a printer driver on Windows update.  The Manual Installation procedure (from HP) fails to offer a 710-Win7 driver and a search of the HP Web site also fails to show a Win7 driver for 700 series.  However, I found elsewhere on this forum (link at the end) the procedure to patch a 700 series driver works correctly undet 64-bit, so I guess a pilot must exist...

  Can someone point me to a download?

  The document above, refer to the Deksjet 710, which is a different printer model...

  I have a Compaq ij650 Series printer. I have not used the printer over the years. The printer was bought in 2001 or more. I have a Dell with Windows 7 computer. I plugged the printer and run the disc. The printer will not work because the driver for the printer is not found.

  I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this printer has been supported only up to Windows XP.  As far as I know, no newer drivers do exist and you will not be able to use this product with your Windows 7 PC.

• Writing a driver for the GPIB-ENET100 in C++ based on a Linux machine

  I picked up some remains of a driver for this device and I'm trying to resurrect it for a new project.

  Basic Comms between the host and the device of the GPIB-ENET work OK, I can analyze the GPIB bus for instruments and address address Analyzer connected properly.

  But, if I try and write commands to the instrument I get an error GPIB.

  Work of communication very well by using windows OR browser based tool, so I've captured the Ethernet traffic and found several types of messages I do not recognize. He also seems to be sending messages on port 5015, but also the main port 5000.

  SO, my question: is there a document covering the interface with the device at a low level of TCP message? Alternatively, as I suspect it is the secret of stuff and I'm supposed to buy an expensive software of NOR?

  SOLVED.

  After connecting to the GPIB-ENET100 using ibfind and setting various options on board level it is essential to drop and reconnect the plug before attempting to connect and communicate at the peripheral level.

  My version of ibfind opens a socket and my version of ibonl closes the socket when it is called to set a Board/device offline.

  The driver now works perfectly.

  You can always try to install the Windows 7 drivers to see what is happening. But I expect that the installation routine will check for a valid operating system.

  I am facing an error during installation "Qualcomm Atheros QCA9000 series Bluetooth 4.0 + HS Driver for Microsoft Windows.
