WT210 playback of an external sensor

Hello

I need help on the use of external sensor to read current in LabVIEW. Are there examples? What I did, the example of the "value of measuring Mode", I connect Config Ext sensor scaling. I don't know if it of fair or not.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

You can compare the orders that are in the control function in the manual. I have not used this instrument.

  • Problem with the playback of the external SWF sound

    Hello

I need to load the external SWF file, which contains the simple + audio image sequence. I used the MovieClipLoader class for this and also a preloader, where I check if I can run the SWF safely, without having to pause later and continue with loading. It works similar to video YouTube, where the video is buffered.

The problem is that when I load the SWF file and run it, the audio start to play later. I tried more cases and the reason is that even if I load enough of the SWF, I can be certain I can start reading, because it is not enough for audio, if you start playing a little later. When I insert more, the audio begins to play immediately.

So the question is, is there a way how can I check if the audio is loaded and ready to play?

    Thank you

    Michal

If you can inspect the external swf fla enough to know that synchronize sound is set to stream, you should be able to look at the scenario where the sound is attached and determine the number of images, the sound is.

  • Stor.e TV + does not recognize external DVD

    Hello!

I connect an external DVD / Blu - ray with a USB cable player (as suggested by the manual), but when I go to the icon of the DVD, I get the message "no changer". I plug in a Phillips bluray that seems pretty standard... Anyone who has faced this problem before or can give advice?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    You are right
The Stor.E + can be connected to the external CD/DVD drive with a USB cable.
To do this you must select DVD auto play option and need to fix on IT.
    Did you do that?

Connect the DVD player via the USB cable to Stor.E TV +.
Select setup-> system-> AutoPlay dvd and active automatic DVD playback
Then select external DVD option in the main interface of the Store TV +.

If this does not work, I recommend you to test the Store TV + as part of another drive to CD/DVD, but to my knowledge, there is no particular standard (of course USB 2.0 should be supported) which would be necessary

  • Barometric pressure sensor

    Hello

I wonder if anyone has used a sensor of barometric pressure with myRIO Council. If Yes can you suggest any probe good accuracy?

    What of it? http://www.embeddedadventures.com/barometric_pressure_sensor_module_mod-1009.html

It will work properly with myRIO?

    Thank you

    Christos

    Hey Christos,.

Looking at the sensor as you linked, which should work perfectly with the myRIO. It uses the I2C/SPI protocols to transmit his readings to a controller, and the myRIO dedicated pins for I2C/SPI communication. Therefore, you should have no problem pulling measures the pressure of the probe.

The myRIO has also 3, 3V output for external sensors power PIN, so you should be able to feed the sensor directly from the myRIO as well.

    I hope this helps!

  • reading two sensors (alternately) in a structure of the event permanently

    Hello

I have a structure of event with various functions of the user interface. The entire application is on a laser diode control and playback of two light sensors IR which cover different wavelengths (if and InGaAs). The two sensors are connected to the same AD converter, but to different channels. So if I want to read the two sensors, I have to change the setting of the "Converter" AD channels. The real question is how to implement playback continues two sensors in the structure of the event? I want to be able to read alternately each sensor in a span of 50 or 100 m is possible, another using function of time-out of the structure of the event with a kind of logic xor for switching channels? Maybe something with more features (somehow by a timed loop)?

    Any idea is welcome.

    Thank you and best regards,

P.s. The sensor reading is done by a National Instruments SPI map where SPI is the master.

  • Qosmio G20-102 TV TUNER: how to get this to work - what cables are required?

    Hey everybody,

I just installed vista on my laptop QOSMIO G20-102 (PQG20), I have media library now.
My laptop came not like MEDIA CENTER EDITION, it came under the home edition of Windows XP (laptop purchased in July 2005).
I got 3 cables which I have no idea how to use...
laptop was purchased in Dubai/Emirates and I live in Malta

    These are the cables >

    Now for my question (s):
1 which of these cables do I need? Im just trying to figure out how to get my satellite tv or digital cable to work on my laptop.
2 antenna adapter (see picture) is not for coaxial cable, what can I do?
3 I did WINDVR more due to the upgrade of vista, Media Center Gets the job done but I don't know what to do... This guide has confused me even more > http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/using/setup/settop.mspx
I don't have IR control cable, I do not have a remote sensor (but I have some sort of built in the remote sensor on the front of my laptop.

I'm looking for advice as for example buy this, get rid of it, install this etc...
Please, anything that can help is appreciated!
If you need information more just ask, I am here ;)

    Yours sincerely
    Ishmael

    Hi ismael,.
I'll try to help with that, but it's a long way to the road...
I don't know what Tv system is used to Malta (Pal)?

The best way to set up your TV's with Media Center 2005 edition.
    Cables:
Check the back of your cable TV installation box and find the composite or SVHS output. If you have only the composite, you can use the composite cable of the posted image. If your TV decoder has the SVHS, so you should use, to the better image than composite. You must obtain a SVHS cable for this.
Look for the audio output rca, too. Mix with the composite cable for the audio Qosmio.

    But you must have:
1 control cable IR, for media center 2005 configuration as well as your TV decoder. It is cable connected to the remote sensor (see fact sheet on the back).

2 sensor for your remote control and configure it with the remote control of your TV decoder. In this way, you can control the receiver cable channels, using the remote control for your Qosmio G20 media center edition.
Recovery: you can change the channels on your TV decoder using the qosmio remote control.

    3. remote control for you media Center 2005, one that came with your Qosmio g20.

Open the TV on Media Center 2005 configuration and follow all the steps required for installation.
You must follow the guide, as is explained in the image you posted:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/using/Setup/SetTop.mspx

If you have all these cables, you can use the Qosmio player to watch TV. It is not tied to windows OS.
Here, simply connect the coaxial cable and let the Qosmio player search for available channels in your area. Qosmio player has the opportunity to set the colour TV system in any part of the world. all NTSC regions in all PAL regions.
If you have the remote control for your Qosmio, TV keys will work directly with the Qosmio remote sensor on board, without needing the external sensor of Microsoft.

    I hope this helps you

  • Sequencer zillion

Im having problems to make the future retro Zillion to synchronize with the logic.

can someone point me in the right direction?

I have a Zillion and synced it to logic several times without problem, so...

You need activate and send Midi clock using Logic project settings... Menu bar > file > project settings > sync > Midi tab

Turn clock noon 1 Destination, then select the interface midi and port via the drop-down list below...

On the Zillion, the soft tap of synchronization and then set on the external synchronization

In the synchronization mode, you can set the Zillion play its internal clock, or synchronization with an external MIDI clock.

The top line of the screen indicates if synchronization is set to internal or external.

The lower line of the display will indicate so just MIDI or MIDI and MIDI notes notes clock will be transmitted by the Zillion output MIDI.

Use the keys to choose one of the four possibilities around.

When the Zillion is set to external sync, make sure you as your master what is connected to the MIDI IN of the Zillion of MIDI output. Starting and stopping playback of the external device acting as a master clock, and then remotely control playback switch of the Zillion and tempo.

  • CAN communicate with Veristand

    Hello

I use a CRIO9081 with a module CAN 9268. I made a good configuration with detection of MAX module, power module, adding CAN wear under a Veristand project and I have NI-XNET...

Now I want to interact with a sensor using CDN per Veristand, but I am a novice with CAN communication: you know some "user manual" on how to use CAN by Veristand to interact with another material?

    Thank you

    Hi vincentlg,

In order to communicate with an external sensor via CAN, it is likely that you will need to set up a database BOX. You can create this with the OR-XNET database editor that is included with the XNET driver. The data BOX is responsible for converting frames in 'real' values (see: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/2732/en/#toc6). This also means that you can add a frame/signal to VeriStand. In doing so, signal will appear as a channel in the environment in which you can get (or set) the value of the channel in the VeriStand workspace.

You can see that the manufacturer of the external sensor will provide a database or the scale that is required to convert the images into meaningful data. It is very unlikely that this will correspond to the sample database.

Journal of tiara Bus converter allows to take the raw image data and convert it acquisition AFTER meaningful data. You will always need a data BOX to do this.

To sum up: you can acquire data from a database, but you will have the raw images, which may not mean something to you. If you create a database, you will be translated these frameworks of the relevant data.

I hope this helps, but I would like to know if I can clarify anything.

  • Transfer of register in Labview

    Hi guys,.

Forgive the question, but I'm completely new to Labview and recently inherited a fairly large code base that I will work on in the coming months. The code is quite complex, so I don't know that I'll be referring to documents available to their full extent while trying to figure out.

My question is this. Former student graduate, who built the original code could not understand something that seems to be very simple. We have several discrete variables we use, and at each time step, the two previous values are held. In a sort of functional form, it might look like this:

    x(t-2) = x(t-1);

    x(t-1) = x (t);

x (t) = (t) sensor; the value is read from an external sensor.

Currently, all of the current and previous values must be registered to be introduced into the data streams at each time step. Ideally, it would happen automatically, but I don't have the slightest idea how to do it. Any help here?

I am competent in VHDL, C, Javascript, and Mathematica, if this is helpful to all.

Shift registers.  You can extend the terminals on the left side of the loop down to get older values of the shift and more register just the previous iteration.

  • Abort several parallel loops in FPGA environment

    Hi all

I developed a LabVIEW FPGA code that performs two parallel loops.  The first loop monitors the external positioning sensors and the second loop provides the control for the system under test algorithm.  I am trying to incorporate a condition of 'kill' based on the positioning of external sensors that works similarly to the button cancel in the toolbar of LabVIEW, but I was not successful in finding a solution based on local variables/registrants/etc. in the FPGA coding environment.

Unfortunately, I can't provide live code; However, the loop control algorithm contains a structure rather long sequence inside the while loop, which will have to be terminated immediately arriving at a threshold of the sensor reading.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to implement such an order of demolition?  I really appreciate the help and if I can provide any additional information, please let me know.  Thank you very much.

You will need to replace the structure of sequence with something that can be stopped.  The simplest solution is a state machine: you put a case structure within a while loop.  The while loop contains a shift register that indicates the current status.  Move each frame of the sequence in another case.  Then, add some logic that checks if the State of abandonment has been reached, and if yes, proceed to a case of "demolition" instead of regardless of the shift register contains.

  • NVIDIA HDMI output - not plugged in (?) = no sound on the TV, but great picture!

    Hello

I'm not very experienced in the computer, but I know now that the connection from your laptop to a flat screen HDMI cable TV is not as easy as it should be...

Description of the problem: no sound, but the big picture on the TV when connecting to my HP dv7 entertainment PC through HDMI to it. Specifically: for NVIDIA HDMI output icon is grey and not active in the "pilot sounds and reading - menu" - you can not simply give (other icons that are active are: speakers and headphones double, double independent headphone & SPDIF). You can also see the TV under "Control panel" > "Devices and printers" - so the tv is connected. In Device Manager, I see that I have 2 sound processors (?) "IDT High Definition Audio CODEC" and "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" - I don't know one that is used for the HDMI connection.

I have at my own risk installed the latest driver (?) for my graphics (NVIDIA Geforce 9600 M GT) - before I did, the NVIDIA HDMI output icon participated actively in the "... sound"-menu (so you can turn it, etc.)- but no sound on the TV and then either...

I suspect there to be something wrong with the drivers for my graphics card or processor... or maybe you can't send sound to the tv with my cable? It's a standard HDMI cable...

Laptop model nr: HP Pavilion dv7-1094eo

Operating system: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit don't know ServicePack... .

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

HDMI cable, tv LCD Philips model: 37PFL7605H

If someone could help please advise me on what drivers to install or anything else, I would be very grateful!

    / Marie

First do you uninstall IDT High-Definition Audio CODEC Driver and NVIDIA GeForce 9600 M GT drivers by going to

    Control Panel\Programs\Programs and features.

In case if request you a restart of the computer, please make sure that restart you one after the other. Do NOT avoid restarting the computer.  So go ahead and download view updated and audio drivers from the HP website here.

Yet once, after installation if you are prompted to restart the computer, go ahead and restart the computer. Once done, go to:

Control Panel\Hardware and the sound and click on sound. On the Read tab, right-click on the white (empty) space and you will see 2 options (see the disabled devices and show disconnected devices). Make sure that both options are checked for all devices listed reading.

Now, right click on the option to output HDMI device and make sure that the option "set as default device" is selected for the sound of the external display during playback picture on external monitor.
