WVC54GC cam wireless

A friend has set up this camera to work with a new Linksys wireless router.  It was working fine for a week work about.  So last Friday I got the webcam visible only half of the work day.  Today, I have connected on my cam and had only video for half an hour until the server went down.  I don't think that he put up with an IP address static addy.  Is this something that can be solved by paying for the sololink service and by assigning a static IP address for the camera?  Thanks for any help you can offer out there!

PROBLEM SOLVED!  Surprisingly, I don't have the latest version of the firmware when well even this router has been installed just 2 weeks ago.  It was a router problem, not a problem of the camera apparently.  The firmware has been updated and should reset everything that happened with the outtage because I logged on my cam to work at 9:30 and it is still running at 17:15.

Yay!

  • S110 does not see the window of the camera wireless (OSX)

I have a Canon S110, OSX 10.8.5 (mountain lion) as well as OSX 10.9.1 Mavericks (two different computers).

I don't have the active OSX Firewall or other security software.

I connect my computer to the wireless network and then connect the camera to the same network.  The two connect very well.  The camera how never never find Camera Window.  I tried to manually open the camera window, but it immediately says "no camera found".

I tried Camera Window 8.9.1 (because that's what literature Canon says is validated against 10.9), and I also tried the 8.10.1.15 version.  Camera works fine with the Smartphone (iphone) connected to the same network using IOS Camera Window.

I have attached the camera first via the USB port on each computer to do the initial installation and synchronize the SSL certificate.  The camera's firmware version 1.0.2.0 which is the last.

So with two versions of the camera window and two versions of Mac OS x, I can't see my camera more wireless.

Can someone direct me to what can go wrong?

  • House WVC54GC - drops off network slot and time. Help!

I bought an new rounter wireless, WRT310N, the other day.  While I was in the store, I saw the wireless, WVC54GC camera and picked up one of those too.  So far, the router is running and I won't have problems to connect to the internet with my laptop.  I've set up the camera yesterday using the supplied configuration software.  It worked fine for a few hours, but then began to fall sharply the wireless network.  I tried the camera power cycle, but it won't even connect back to the network when I do this.  I plug in the back of the router by an ethernet cable so that it can work.  When I unplug it it will work for an hour or two, but then drop the network again.  The router is about 100 feet from the camera - what is in my garage.  I did a little reading to try to understand my problem but have failed again. I have reset the channel on my router to 11 but it helps didin't.  I put a static IP address on the config of cameras menu.  I even cut my total network encryption (I live in the woods of 1/2 mile from the nearest road or home).

Any suggestions on how I can get this thing works more reliably?

Distance from my primary wireless router was the problem.  I used my old router and I replaced the firmware, set up as a Repeater and put it in the room with the cam, and now, it has worked well for several days.

  • SL1 as master wireless?

So back to DSLR photography and learning about off-camera flash.

Can I use my SL1 as a master for my 565EXII of Yongnuo off camera wireless? I had success by using the optical trigger when you don't attach a TTL cord. I was wondering if the SL1 has the ability to trigger wireless, though, without having to buy a radio trigger.

If this isn't the case, I can trigger the slave without triggering the pop-up flash?

Hi and welcome to the forums.

The built-in flash SL1 cannot control of other off-camera flashes using the optical wireless system. This is one of the features of the rebel T5i step-up models.

You will need to use the built-in flash or another type of triggering device.

See if you can set the Yongnuo to trigger the Yongnuo flash (they call it S2 mode) - built-in / pop-up flash emits two flashes - one for the calculation of the exhibition before the opening of the shutter and the other for the main exhibition.

Or you can use a Canon Speedlite 90EX or ST - E2 and Speedlite 550EX Speedlite 580EX, 580EX II Speedlite or Speedlite 600EX will be necessary to trigger the Yongnuo off camera. You can also find the Yongnuo made versions of the Canon flashes listed for less money.

Yongnuo as the YN622C radio triggers are also an option to trigger by radio.

  • WRT350N will not have my phone, ipod touch, nintendo ds connect wirelessly!

My wrt350n will not allow my phone, ipod touch, or nintendo ds to connect via wifi

at least I have remove the wireless security.  Does anyone know why?  I have the latest firmware and I use wep 128bits encryption.

I found the answer on the website of ipods for troubleshooting.

I had the 128-bit encryption, but on my selection of router, I got key 2 as password.

Then I changed all my cameras wireless (that works) and router to select the 1 button and then came the key 1 password for my ipod touch and g1 phone wifi and it worked.  I have to check on nintendo wii, that I had to buy the usb network adapter to do work and nintendo ds to see if it also works.  I'll post.

    * before all this I was typing in key 2 devices works... then the 1 key and it would say it connected but I could not surf the internet so I know that this is the solution without turning off wireless security *.

  • Cannot find wireless devices. All-in-one - C309a - "HP printer cannot find your access point"

Printer: C309a - I have trouble connecting the printer to my wireless network.

RAN wireless configuration wizard: it ran for a long time but no device not returned.

Wireles RAN Network Test report: Wireless on - PASS, Wireless - PASS, the name of the network (SSID) found - work FAIL.

The wireless network Test report shows no IP address on the screen. under mask and default gateway are displayed also as 000.000.000.000

I have reset to factory settings.

Other devices took the 192.168.1.250 spot

    My router is visible SSID.

This is a replacement C309a - my previous C309a - when I ran the test report my previous camera wireless network, said that the radio was not working, so I knew that based on previous posts, that the radio card died and to get a replacement printer. I hope it's a configuration problem and that the wireless on this replacement radio can still work.

    Thanks in advance.

OK, radio seems OK.  What router are you using?  You've restarted the router by pulling its plug momentarily?

If anything does not work, we will reset the printer: turn off the power.  Maintain the # and 9 keys while a few seconds after again.

  • HomeLab wireless

    Hi all

I would appreciate if someone could help me with my HomeLab Setup. Currently, I ordered a camera wireless Cisco 871W and looking forward to other components network/s supporting Cisco 871W to create a complete HomeLab. He comes to CCNA Wireless and subsequently CCNP wireless. Of course, I would have a go with CCNA Wireless first.

I appreciate your suggestions and recommendations about settings or other related issues.

You'd better go with the access points (1140 for example which can be also well capwap or IOS) and a WLC 2106.

    Kind regards

  • How do I book DHCP on a WN203?

I just started setting up my new WN203 to replace the part of a former ConnectionHub of Bell wireless. I got past the initial and assigned substance to a range of DHCP addresses to the new cluster of WN203, but I do not see how to associate a specific address to a particular wireless device.

In case it isn't clear, let me give the example. When an address is assigned to a camera wireless AP, let's say his 192.168.2.220, I need to always get in the future so I can map this external address. In the ConnectionHub it's simple, there are two things to do. Assign the 220 to the MAC address and then put a new entry in a table of transfer from the port to say what external address matches. I think that the AP has reserve capacity, that I have not found, but port forwarding must take place at the router level.

I didn't know how it worked, so I tried a number of things and this is what worked for me.

I let the WN203 be a ConnectionHub upstream DHCP client and it has been assigned an IP address in the pool, which subsequently, I coded as a DHCP reservation. I turned on the WN203 of the DHCP service.

When I used the WN203 network, my devices were assigned the same IP addresses by the ConnectionHub that he had used when its wireless feature worked. I was then able to use the same DHCP reservations as before which turned to simplify the whole process.

    Hello

Maybe you should try a reinstall system, just a small software bug is the cause of your problem. He helped me with my problems on my Satellite A100.
After you reinstall the thing worked mysteriously. :)

And Don t forget to download the latest version of the BT stack, but ensure that you only download things to your machine.
