WVC80N - no e-mail, despite all the previous advice of this forum

Hi all

Like many on this forum, my WVC80N will not send notifications by e-mail.  I tried every piece of advice I can find and do always no chance – are there options on the left, or do I just a lemon?  Here's my current situation:

-On the motion, reading the newspaper: SMTP: cannot send E-mail to "[email protected]".

-Email test fails as well

-Camera is visible on the web as well to the local ip address of 10.0.1.x and on the Internet via my dyndns address.  It broadcasts the video very well and detects a movement very well according to its newspapers.

-Camera is assigned static IP address of 10.0.1.6, the camera and the router.

-Firmware is v1.0.01 build 00

-My router (time capsule from Apple) transferred successfully to the camera port.  I gave on port 80, as well as the "alternate" web port of 1024 and also submit the Protocol RTSP port 554 and 500.  I even sent port 25 just to see if it would help.

-I'm 100% sure that my mail server credentials are correct, the my ISP SMTP server to accept traffic on port 25, and that it requires NO SSL.  I am able to send mail from my mail client using the exact same credentials of the same Internet connection.

-J' rebooted it many times

-Camera is on my wifi network, but fully functional except this problem of e-mail.

-DNS server is configured for the IP address of my router, but also I tried of it affecting the google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as well, the public DNS servers.

-TZO DDNS is disabled

-UPnP is disabled

-RTSP multicast is disabled

Then... Yes.  It seems that I've covered all the bases I can find it and still no dice.  Is there anything I've forgotten?  Otherwise, looks like I'll replace the cursed thing.

You can try the service of OMR of TZO, or another SMTP relay service.  TZO will give you a short free trial of this service and that has worked for me since my local ISP blocks port 25 outgoing.  I did use port 2525 and TZO SEO service and when he sends an email he sends to TZO through port 2525 and then TZO sends mail.

Try it, it seems to fix most of the problems with email alerts have failed because of the ISP or port block issues

So somehow safe mode stops more that I can do it manually. Does anyone have an idea how can I know what are the causes of the problem?

    Hardware acceleration is also disabled in safe mode.

    Try turning off hardware acceleration.

    Hi, I can't get 10 App window on my PC in Win7 SP1 despite all the updates. I ran the utility software troubleshooting GWA and he said that my PC is not up-to-date. I had followed all the instructions on the troubleshooting page. Under my computer properties, it shows that my Windows 7 is genuine and SP1.  I can not find the service pack SP1 showing installed in my control panel in the installed updates. I tried to reinstall SP1, but it said I already had SP1. Following the instruction on the Windows 7 SP1 download page, I tried to uninstall the SP1 that is currently on my PC using the command-line option, but he says that I don't have SP1 installed. (So confused) Someone has the same problem and knows how to solve?

    You must install the update to enable the feature.  Open the app 'Store' and click the 'Get Windows 8.1 free update' to get the update.

    Do you not need to run all the operating systems on the machine? With the help of VMware or similar is the way to go, but with this card, you don't have much choice, you must upgrade first to 8 GB of RAM. It comes with FreeDOS, you need at least a host operating system in order to run the virtual machine.  At this point, Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate is the starting point.

    You have certainly a few design issues.

    The structure of stacked sequence tends to create more problems than it solves. I the have not used in new programs since version 1.2 of LabVIEW (in 1989). A state machine is a much better choice of architecture.

    Local variables can cause race conditions, copies of additional data, poor performance and it is difficult to debug code. There are special cases when they should be used, but these conditions are not in your code. Just wire directly on the terminals of control at the scene, the data will be used.

    My guess on the likely cause of your error is the use of several DAQ Assistant to perform the same task (with different data values) in each image in the sequence structure. With the arcitecture state machine that I suggested above, you would need one. The DAQ Assistant trying to be clever on the configuration and tasks of closing, but different instances do not speak with each other, so they don't know when to release the resources.  You might be able to do work if you used the DAQmx screw standard you have done with the task of digital output.  You do not connect the error lines of the DAQ Assistant for you can be missing errors.

    Indicators and controls without legend may be a troubleshooting nightmare. Please give each control and seeing a unique label. If you don't want the visible label on the front, you can use the properties of the control to hide. If you want multiple controls to have the same visible text for the operator, use the legend.

    Learn how to use subVIs. Most of the code in the 6 images of the structure of internal sequence is identical. By converting only a Subvi, you would reduce considerably the size of the diagram and if you ever need to modify the code, it should only be changed in one place - the Subvi.

    The while loop in frame 0 of structure of outer sequence is a "gourmet" loop He's going to run as fast as possible and seize all available CPU resources until the user presses a button.     QUESTION; Where should I go from here?

    STORY:
    My C:\ drive (!.) TB) began to balk when after that I got a little more than 800 GB stored on it. My tech told me that the case of the machine would hold two internal HDs. We bought an extra 1 TB HD and it installed Windows essential, all the drivers and my regular backup utility so that we can make an immediate reflection of the drive on an external hard drive.

    Two internal parts carry Windows 7 64 bit, and by changing the Boot Setup, I can boot from either - no errors or red flags.

    I downloaded TB 31.0, installed on the new disc. then copied it to App Data and Application Data including all files in TB from the old HD (2 Windows user accounts) to discrete files on an external drive. From there on, I copied them into the appropriate folders for the two users on the new HD. Thunderbird will otherwise not them, even if I used each solution and tip, I learned with TB on a dozen years. I worked on number of days following, checked several similar articles on the forum and do not see a solution. (And my tech has never wanted to learn something about Tbird; nor has he had to in the past.)

    I just uninstalled Thunderbird 31.0 and deleted content under TB in App Data records (2) and (2) the Application data on the new drive C:\. I first of all confirmed that all previous data is available on the old HD and that the copy on the external drive is complete and accurate - and without any locking Windows security. Local settings on both old-reader/users folders were locked and could never access, but some TB related files were there in the past.

    What should I do? (1) install an older version of Thunderbird and hope I can marry the old files in? or (2) what can suggest you?

    I solved the problem with a drawer 3 rd (not the best) solution. I put all the profiles of previous TB (with all mail folders) side; then configure new TB accounts access to Gmail and Yahoo mail.
    Once I drained all accumulated mail servers, I'll go through the old records (under the old profiles) and carefully, one at a time, move the folders that I need to keep the local folders account. That method appeared in an another related posts; practical, easy and he killed me.

    Gmail and Yahoo mail are very slow to load. I get a message from the script almost whenever instruct me to continue or to stop the script. Everything I have shut down or restart the browser goes blank and hangs. So, I have to restart Firefox. I followed suggestions on the help pages for the slow e-mail accounts or issues. (cleared cache etc, reset etc.) nothing solves the problem. I only noticed the problem since the first update of FF25. Scripts to stop even on these pages is not acceptable, because you are directed to the pages who insist you must restart scripts. It's a nightmare! Gmail both Yahoomail are very slow to respond to clicks more.

    Your list of details of the system shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize some preferences at each start of Firefox.

    The user.js file appears only if you or another software created, therefore, normally, he wouldn't be here.

    I suspect you use the TODAY() formula. I'm afraid that this is how it works. It is not a time stamp. Apple has twisted when update formulas, and formulas to update each time that a change to the table.

    For a date/time stamp, you must double click and use the Insert menu.

  • Pop-up ads continue despite all the information here regarding remove them.  I think they were watching when I downloaded an update for Adobe Flash Player.  All of the suggestions!

    I use OS x El Capitan 10.11.2 on my 3.2 GHz, 8 GB Mac.  I keep getting the pop - ads that those scam ads reply and get their malicious software solution.  I also get the help line 'Apple' where someone's endearing supposedly walk me if they can help.  I tried all of the solutions in the Apple support groups, but nothing has worked... remove extensions (don't have), in order to put the files listed in 'Go to Folder' (none came, so I couldn't remove them).  Any ideas?  It seems that it got worse after I received a notice to update my Adobe Flash Player... maybe a false update.

    1. the present proceedings is a diagnostic test. It doesn't change anything for the better or worse and therefore, by itself, will not solve the problem. But with the help of the results of the tests, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.

    The test works on OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later versions. I do not recommend running it on older versions of Mac OS X. It will do no harm, but it will not do not much good.

    Do not be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You make the tasks more complicated with the computer all the time.

    2. If you do not already have a current backup, please back up all the data before doing anything else. The backup is needed on the general principle, not because of what anyone in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you encounter any kind of problems with the computer, you can be more than the usual loss of data, if you follow these instructions or risk not.

    There are ways to back up a computer that is not fully functional. Ask if you need advice.

    3 here is instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it doesn't change anything. It does not send or receive data over the network. There is no to generate a report on the State of the computer human readable. This report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents for me or someone else.

    You should ask yourself if you can believe me, and if it is safe to run a program at the request of a foreign national. In general, no, he's not sure, and I encourage it.

    5. try to test in conditions that replicate the problem, to the extent possible. For example, if the computer is slow intermittently, run the test during a downturn.

    You may have started up in safe mode. If the system is now in safe mode and works pretty well in normal mode to test run, restart as usual before running it. If you can test only in safe mode, this.

If you do not know the password, or if you prefer not to enter, just press back three times at the password prompt. Yet once again, the script will run.

    If the test takes much longer that usual to run because the computer is very slow, you can be prompted for your password a second time. The permission you grant by entering it will expire automatically after five minutes.

    If you are not logged as an administrator, you will be prompted for a password. The test will run. It just will not do anything that requires administrator privileges.

    11. the test may take a few minutes to run, depending on the number of files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that is abnormally slow may take more time to run the test. During execution, a series of lines is displayed in the Terminal window like this:

        Test started
            Part 1 of 4 done at: … sec        …        Part 4 of 4 done at: … sec
        The test results are on the Clipboard.
        Please close this window.

    The intervals between the parties will not be exactly the same, but they give an approximate indication of progress.

    Wait for the final message "Please close this window" appears. If you don't see it in about 15 minutes, the test probably won't be all within a reasonable time. In this case, press the Ctrl + C key combination or the point command to stop it. Then go to the next step. You will have incomplete results, but still something. If you close the window of the Terminal, while the test is still running, the partial results will not be saved and you have to start over.

    12. when the test is finished, or if you have stopped it because it was taking too long, leaving the Terminal. The results have been saved to the Clipboard automatically. They do not appear in the Terminal window. Please do not copy from there. All you have to do is start a response to this comment and then paste it again by pressing Command-V.

    At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words «Start time.» If you do not see that, but rather to see a mass of gibberish, you wait for the message "close this window". Please wait and try again.

    If personal information, such as your name or e-mail address, appear in the results, make anonymous before posting. Usually it will be not necessary.

    13. in the validation of the results, you see an error message on the web page: "you have included content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters."   • slate of 21 has lost all the previous icons

    Until it is has about 2 weeks 21 slate worked perfectly with all icons app downloaded, displayed at startup.

    Now at the start of the slate is a large red and Brown arrow that occupies the entire half right side of the screen appears, but not all of the previous icons.

    Included in these missing icons is the Skype icon, which, once selected previously worked with great video.

    I tried to download Skype once again, but all I can install is "Skype to go.

    I think that this app is only for mobile phones.

    Skype has always works well on my XP desktop but does not recognize the web cam.

    That's why I bought the slate 21 to have Skype video calls on the big screen.

    Sorry, but I can't say that I've never seen or heard of this before.  I don't think you could attach a screenshot of the issue on the forums.  Take a screenshot of just hold 'Volume -' and 'Power' buttons at the same time.

    Right now my only guess would be that you have downloaded an app that has replaced the homescreen on your device.  If this is true, you have 2 solutions:

    1. Return to the default home screen.  There are some instruction how to http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/smartphones/pro-tip-reset-your-android-home-screen-back-to-the-default/
    2. Reset the device by going to setting > backup and Reset and choosing Factory Data Reset.  This will return the unit by default, but it will also be possible to erase your data, please backup first.

    Again, this is only a guess at this point that I have never seen this personally.
