X120e - HDMI + OSD

Get a strange question. When my X120e is plugged into my HD via HDMI, at any time a sound is played (and therefore passed via HDMI), the volume of Lenovo OSD indicator will pop up. So, as you can imagine, it becomes quite boring. Everyone notice this problem?

  • external monitor X120e HDMI 1920 x 1200?

    Hello

I have a 24 "1920 x 1200 external monitor, and I want to buy model x120e, for use with this monitor. It will work on the native resolution?

I read this E-350 processor, supports HDMI v1.3, which supports up to 1920 x 1200, but ot from other sites I've read advice support only up to 1920 x 1080? What maximum resuluton supports the x120e on HDMI output.

    Thank you.

Yes it will work at this resolution. It is actually 2048 x 1152, but this resolution is not commonly used, so most of the references would state 1920 x 1200 or 1920 x 1080.

  • NVIDIA DSR on Acer x 34

    Hey all,.

any who can check nvidia scaling dsr would work on acer x 34 for example if I want to play at 2560 or even 1080 can do that on this monitor? either through windows resolution nvidia dsr scale or return?

    Thanks for any info guys

Yes, you can use both methods, you are not required to run games or office to 3440 x 1440.  As with any monitor, you can run in the native resolution of your screen or lower without problem, or use DSR and then reduce/high-end to the resolution of your application, provide two resolutions you want to use are adapting in image (16:9 or 21:9) format.

You can even play in 16:9 resolution (for example, if a game does not support ultra wide angle 21:9) and you will see just the black bars down on part and sides of the screen with the game appears in the middle.  There is also a setting in the 'aspect ratio' to stretch content HDMI OSD (for example, a console) so it will fill the entire screen but look of-proportioned, instead of having these measures 16:9 with black.  The choice is yours.

  • Toshiba 42WL67Z - no picture via hdmi and vga

    Hello

After a power outage, my 42WL67Z (Regza LCD) no longer displays a picture via hdmi and vga.

The computer receives a TV signal, it detects the screen when connected and offers the usual option (duplicate or prolong the display, screen resolution), but no image is displayed.

    The OSD works well.

    Ideas?

    > Ideas?

I think that you first need to connect to another device (DVD player, Blu - Ray player, etc.) on television and must choose the right channel to enter the settings.
If TV continues not to receive all the signals of such device, it means you have a hardware problem.

  • HP 27xw monitor: manual switching between HDMI devices?

I recently bought the 27xw from HP to my local Costco Wholesale, and so far I love it. But I have a small question, what I would like to see if there is a work around. I plugged my monitor to my PC (HDMI 1) and my XBox 360 (HDMI 2). But trying to "switch" between them is impossible due to the limitations of a switch screen found in the software on my PC. Is there a manual switch to do this, maybe located under the screen where is the power button? I feel there are several buttons down there, but I do not want to rely on one of them for fear of screwing something up. If anyone can help?

    Hello

Please try the Source button, which is the power ON / OFF button or OSD next door (left side). They can help otherwise a HDMI switch auto can do the job very well.

    Kind regards.

  • HP Pavilion Elite e9220y: HDMI connection problem

I can't get my computer to connect to my monitor (HP w2338h) in hdmi mode.   The graphics card is the original of the computer (Radeon HD 4350) that I'm looking for upgrade to a Radeon HD 6670, but I had no input (black screen) when I went from cards.  I have given the old card and OSD have the HDMI input, but it will connect only in VGA mode.   My drivers are up to date.  I replaced the HDMI cables and neither one works.  I have reset the monitor to factory settings in the OSD.  I'm stuck with a new video card that I can't use.

I also moved the card wifi to a new expansion slot to make room for the largest video card.  When I handed my old video card, I discovered that I lost my internet connection until I moved the wifi card to its original expansion slot.  It's a whole other issue...

Should I just an old dog that doesn't hunt anymore?  Otherwise the thing is what I need to do business.  For the games... Well well... not so much!

    Thanks in advance.

  • x 34 and Consoles through HDMI - of known issues?

    Hi all

A context of fast - I am a PC Gamer running a XB270HU to DisplayPort (980Ti GPU), looking to spend a x 34 for an experience ultra wide angle and for additional HDMI input for games console on the side. I understand the game Console will not be rendered in its ultra resolution wide and it's OK.

Someone at - it no experience running a Playstation 4 or an Xbox via HDMI on the 34 x, and if so, are there problems? I ask because I heard that the x 34 is only 50 hz via HDMI - is this correct, and can easily be overclocked to 60 hz via the interface?

    Any comments or help appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    -JR

    Hi KORS41R,

I don't know where you read that HDMI supports only 50 Hz.  The X-34 has a HDMI 1.4 plug connector and a default of 60 hz refresh rate, so the HDMI cables high speed that can handle 4 k should be able to manage the 1440p@60hz.  I have not really tried with a console myself well so I just anecdotal not for performance.

You will certainly not be able to get the overclocked (greater than 60 Hz) off HDMI however refresh rate, and you should not use the OSD settings to change the image on the screen itself format depending on whether you prefer "Aspect" or "1 / 1" which will determine if the image display in 16 / 9 with black bars on the sides or stretched. I can broadcast video from the computer to a HDMI equipped TV?

I have a ZX6971 all in one with an HDMI port in the back and a switch on the side to select the HDMI output.

The gateway ZX6971 has the following ports:

Side ports Two USB 3.0 ports
    Multi-in-1 card reader

Rear Ports Four USB 2.0 ports
    Ethernet (RJ-45) port
    TV tuner (optional)
    HDMI® - at the port
    OSD button Side
    • Source selection PC / HDMI® - in button

Please note that there is only one IN. HDMI system will accept an external HDMI signal and function as a monitor, but will not be able to send one HDMI signal to another device, such as a TV.

  • P2815Q is not recognize MiniDP or DP, only HDMI, tried everything, Surface Pro 3 he messed up?

Hi guys, currently my P2815Q monitor will not connect to multiple computers, either through mini DP (on the computer, a 3 Surface Pro plugged into the wall) DP (on the monitor) or DVI + adapter (on the computer, which has a Quadro K600 graphics card) (on the monitor) DP or DP (on the Quadro K600) to mini-DP (on the monitor).  It is not even recognized in the Device Manager on the computer and still shows the floating message "not connected".

For a while, it worked well in all of these configurations on two of these computers.  A few days ago, when it was connected to my Surface Pro 3, all of a sudden the connection dropped, and then he entered an endless loop to connect to the surface, only to disconnect immediately (after less than a second, as indicated by the "found new hardware" and "disconnected material" sounds).  My SP3 has the latest graphic drivers installed by Windows Update.  There is nothing obviously wrong with the cable.

Initially, I unplugged the monitor of the SP3, then after reading briefly on "flicker" on an external monitor with SP3 tried leaving connected for up to 30 years, nothing helped.  Also played with the ppp settings that I had put the monitor at 200%, while it worked while the SP3 is 150%.  Tried to restart the SP3 and the connection to the AC adapter / CC, etc.

Finally, the monitor stopped being recognized by the computer completely and since then I did not get the 'new hardware found' sound once when connecting it via the above ports.  However, he recognized when connected via HDMI to computers.  Once logged in so I could bring up the OSD menu, I did a factory reset, nothing helps.  I also made the image rendering test (where you hold the buttons 1 & 4) and it went perfectly.  Also tried to unplug the monitor and now the power for 5 seconds.

The first time I plugged on Quadro K600 (DP on the map, on the monitor miniDP) computer it shows briefly a picture, albeit more low resolution 4 k I had used on this computer before, then disappeared and this computer too firmly refuses to recognize...

What can I do?  It sounds like the logic board is fried?  Thank you, Caleb

    Get it exchanged.

  • U2414H to connect to the PC via HDMI and chaining

Hi all.  I have two US2414H I am trying to connect to my Dell XPS of 5 years.  The NVIDIA Geoforce GT 740 LP graphics card has only one of each DVI, HDMI and VGA ports.  No DP to all ports.  I managed to connect a monitor with a HDMI to HDMI connection.  The manual says to use cable of DP/miniDP to chain the two monitors together, but I can't get this to work.  I tried switching ends, I plug into which monitor.

What happens if I got a DP/DP cable or cable miniDP/miniDP, rather than using the DP/miniDP cable supplied with the monitor?

I begin to fear that, without connecting the monitor 1 via connection DP, I won't be able to Garland.  I'm wrong, or is there a solution?  I'll be forced to install a new graphics card with port of DP?  $$$$$

I really didn't know that I should be an expert comes to install a COMPUTER monitor.  JSYK, I'm far from being a COMPUTER expert.  Laughing out loud!

FYI, I was on the phone last night, with Dell technical support, and the representative told me that, without port DP on my PC, I need a HDMI to DVI cable adapter.  I bought one, and it still doesn't work.  Not amused.

The U2414H has two HDMI ports. Thus, when you open the OSD (On Screen Display) - input Source, you should test both the HDMI listed.

Daisy chain of the U2414H, you need to get a video card with DP or CDM outside.

In theory, it should work =
GeForce GT 740 out HDMI--> HDMI to HDMI Cable--> #1 U2414H HDMI in
GeForce GT 740 out DVI--> DVI to HDMI Cable --> HDMI U2414H #2 in

  • Cisco SX80 removing 'no camera not connected' OSD warning

    Hello.

How can I remove the warning message "No camera connected" screen on?

I use 4 entry and I do not need the camera.

    Thanks again!

I just tested with a SX80, and from what I can tell, there is no way to disable the message will always appear unless a video input is detected on either HDMI 1 or 2.  What is the possibility of using either people like entry and change the configuration on it must match the input 4?  Another option is to move the OSD to another screen that you do not use, but this means that you will see all messages screen if they appear.

  • S2340T, audio HDMI output

I have connected my new monitor S2340T to my new XPS8700 but cannot get the built in speakers to work by setting the audio source on USB (using the 4 buttons on the right side of the screen). I'm not the most technical people but surly he should also work using HDMI. How can I get the sound to work by using the audio input HDMI/DP default parameter? Thank you very much

  • Dell S2440L will not display size full screen using my HDMI input

I have a laptop connected via VGA to this monitor and it takes size to display full-screen (ie. the image goes all the way at the edge of the screen).  My desktop PC is connected to the same monitor via a HDMI Monster of good quality cable and my resolution is set to 1920 x 1080 and again the display was about a black 1 inch around edge (ie. the picture is NOT all the way on the screen - there is about an inch all around here it's dark).  When I go to OSD, the Auto setting is gray.  The menu OSD tells me that I'm using "resolution: 1080 p".  I tried to reset the settings of the monitor, but that did not help.

Because the screen is narrowed down, I don't actually use a native resolution and text rendering is horrible.  In some cases, it is so bad, it is difficult to read some screens.  I need to know how to solve this problem, otherwise the monitor will be back in the store.

    Thank you
    Ray

I think that there is a problem with my graphics card.  I connected another computer to this monitor via HDMI and the monitor worked fine.

  • X120e display does not power on

My Lenovo x120e apparently wants is no longer power on its LCD screen. The machine starts very well and I get a picture when I connect it to an external monitor over HDMI, but still nothing on the display real itself.

I tried every combination Fn + F7 (computer only, duplicate, extend) does not. I also tried to adjust the brightness of the screen, no dice.

I had this happen once or twice before, but every time that I was able to fix cyclic food machine or remove its battery. This time, I'll have no chance.

And this problem power screen, the laptop itself was completely symptom free of any other problems/defects/hiccups.

It seems that this person to another forum has had a similar problem (I can watch the process of full boot on my external monitor), but he ended up having to RAM his laptop.

It also looks like they all experience the same problem, but they were all able to solve their problems of power cycling.

I'm sure that I passed my (bought in February 2011) warranty period, so I hope that there could be some remedy at home there.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Called Lenovo today.

Repair costs vary from $175 (at a minimum) up to $575. The guy on the phone said generally problems with the screen tend to be closer to the beach to $575, which is more (or right around) the price that I paid for the new X120e.

    Ridiculous.
