x201i problem with adding devices and connecting with them via Bluetooth

I have a new computer x201i laptop Windows 7, Bluetooth is installed and running, the icon is on but I can't communicate with external devices like mobile phones. The system concludes that they are, but does not allow the exchange of files. I get the error message could not connect with the device, or did not find the right driver for the external device. I reinstalled the driver from Lenovo support page, no result any ideas? Help, please...

Try to install nokia ovi suite. You can find it here: http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/nokia-ovi-suite/compatibility-and-download

Normally, it will install the drivers you need.

Hope that helps...

  • Qosmio G20: Problems with mobile phone Bluetooth connection

I am sure I posted this question a couple of days, but it seems to have disappeared. Anyway.

I'm trying to connect my phone Nokia (N95) to my G20 via bluetooth, however every time I try to put in place the bluetooth software insists on trying to set up the phone as a modem. Now, I don't want it as a modem, just to connect while I can symchronise and save things, but I can't seem to find a way to set up the connection without the application process for the modem settings.

If I have to configure the settings of the modem then it connects ok but fuck my internet connection to the site and if I disconnect the modem connection in IE my bluetooth connection disconnects as well.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you very much

The installation of the Nokia Suite program is normally pretty simple. You must put in place by the Nokia Suite itself and not with the Bluetooth stack. Make sure that Bluetooth is running. A look at some similar HowTo on the following Web site might be useful:

  • Still problems with the adapter Bluetooth Toshiba Windows 7

    Hey there, it's me again.

I am referring to my 'Problem Bluetooth on Windows 7' subject:

I thought after the solution of bluecat that my problem has been resolved. But it isn't really.

After you install the Windows fix, it worked just a short time. But now the problem is the same.

When I remove the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack and try to work with Manager Bluetooth of Windows, I see that the Bluetooth icon is to come and one to go on the taskbar. In Device Manager, I said Windows, that it is not closed the device to save power. But I think that the device is on and walk and stop...

I really absolutely have no idea what is the problem, but I get terribly angry.

    Details:
    Windows 7
Dell Wireless Bluetooth internal adapter 350 (but it is manufactured by Toshiba)
Experienced pilots: Vista Pack of profile of the Dell homepage (no battery installed, driver only) / Toshiba Bluetooth Stack (the latest version)

    This is the old thread:

    Hi all

Just as I installed Windows 7, my keyboard and Bluetooth mouse do not work very well.

I use the Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth internal adapter, Toshiba Bluetooth Stack 8.00.02 and the keyboard and mouse Logitech MX1000.

To connect the devices on my computer, I first have to disconnect the Bluetooth adapter by pressing Fn + F2 on my Dell i9400, after re-login I can search and connect devices correctly. They work fine as long as the laptop is running.

After restarting the laptop, devices no longer work. They are still in the known, but not connected Bluetooth stack. That's why I have to unplug the adapter Bluetooth, another time and reconnect in order to connect the two devices.

I first thought, it's a Windows problem. I thought that Windows is able to ask the adapter to save power. But when I go to Device Manager, there is no box for this option, as known from other devices (Te USB Ports). If this isn't the problem. I think the problem is something else, maybe performed by the Bluetooth stack.

Windows XP it worked perfectly. I used the same hardware and also the battery Bluetooth Toshiba (uploaded on the homepage of Dell).

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you!

    Hey there

Yesterday I did Format C: and installed Windows 7 news.

I do not have a bluetooth driver for my Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth adapt (made by Toshiba).

And now: the mouse and the keyboard work. I even do not see anywhere in my system, but they work.

There is no bluetooth adapter in my device manager and I had do not connect the keyboard and mouse with my computer. She simply do nothing.

    I do not understand this...

    What is a backup connection?

    What I tried:
-> Installation more recent Bluetooth Stack from Toshiba. Problem in the above message. I also installed the MS Hotfix. The same problem.

-> Installed "Vista profile Pack" on the home page of Dell, recommended for my laptop and Windows Vista. There is no battery installed. So I had to connect the mouse and keyboard via the Windows Bluetooth Manager. But the adapter was performed on and off windows, the icon in the task bar came and went and came and went. Connection is good, 1 minute then a few seconds. Not possible to work with the mouse.

And now, without having to install a driver, it works. Am I stupid?

  • Problem with the Toshiba bluetooth stack

Hello, I'm having a problem with toshiba bluetooth stack. I had windows vista installed in my laptop. I decided to upgrade to Windows 7. I got a bluetooth mouse attached to my toshiba bluetooth stack in windows vista. After the upgrade to windows 7 my bluetooth mouse is not working any more and it is not listed in the list of devices. But, when I turn on my mouse, the system battery bluetooth bar turns green as when the device is connected, but it does not work and the device is still not listed. I'm trying to redetect, but it is not detected. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the bluetooth stack, but in the reinstalling my devices are always listed.

Can someone help me or tell me how to manually remove all connected devices? Thanks in advance.

You have selected the option to remove all device configurations?
If not, then please try it and then reinstall the Bluetooth stack.
You can also do this via command line.
Just run the following command as an administrator:
    MsiExec.exe /x "{CEBB6BFB-D708-4F99-A633-BC2600E01EF6}" / qn DELETEALL = 1

In addition, remove the batteries from the mouse for several seconds.

Right click on the Bluetooth system tray icon > Options... > Security > view paired devices
Remove your entry for the mouse device when it exists.

  • Problems with speakers using Bluetooth (a2dp) with several Windows users

I have the bluetooth speakers (Yamaha NX B02)
they are easily configurable in bluetooth stack Toshiba everything works
as long as I use my profile

If only someone else wants to log on to any other profile (Windows XP Home edition)

I disconnect the speakers on my profile
Speakers are in pairing mode - they are on the list of devices to connect
    but they just don't connect.
Once they are paired on the profile "User1" on "Laptop1".
the "user2" or any other on the same "laptop1" aparently is to buy a new set of speakers
coz this standing right next to him are to be used when you are logged in as "user1".

First of all I really don't see why the bluetooth stack holds the list of devices, and a different configuration for each user?
However - is it possible to IMPORT connection parameters of device somehow of my profile to any other
Or maybe there is something else I should do to be able to pair it with my speakers no matter as to which I am connected now

    Thanks in advance

And YES - the Yamaha set sounds great - I'm really happy

    Hello

I m not 100% sure that if I understood exactly you <-->Bluetooth speaker problem.

According to your message, you can't pair BT speakers during the second use Profil2 if the speakers are already paired with the mer1. Am I wrong?

Well, in my opinion there are nothing wrong because the speakers were already connected to the laptop using the BT. to my knowledge you cannot connect any BT device if it s already connected using another profile.

I think you should always disconnect the BT speakers using the mer1 if you use it n t. Then another user using Profil2 would be able to connect the BT speakers.

  • compatibility problem with LG HBS730 bluetooth headset

I am running Win 7 on my desktop computer that has a generic Bluetooth dongle. The system sees the LG HBS730 and install the drivers.

As soon as it is finished, it goes to the 'blue screen of death '.

Any suggestions as to what is happening. I contacted LG and they said that it was probably a Windows problem. Thanks Bob

    Hi Bob,

It would have been really helpful for us if you had mentioned a couple
    things like:

    1. What is the brand and model of your computer?

    2. What did the dump file of the BSOD say what the contents of the file: "c:/windows/minidump" which records why the PC crashed?

Nevertheless, here are some steps we can try:

Step 1: Remove/uninstall/delete (NOT disable!) all Bluetooth objects of the
installed the software and the Device Manager again.  Reboot - only-
After that everything is removed, since it should try to reinstall on reboot.
Step 2: Allow the Microsoft drivers install.  Reboot only if necessary.
Step 3: Test with your latest drivers (downloaded from your manufacturing
Web site of the manufacturer).  If this does not work, you can go back to
step 1 and start again, but it is preferable to use the drivers from the manufacturer in this case
    If it works.
3.1 - installation of the factory drivers.
    3.2 - if requested reboot.
3.3 - follow pairing instructions below.
3.4 - if it worked, the Audio playback value for appropriating the Bluetooth device and enjoy.
Don't forget that YOU CANNOT SAVE BLUETOOTH UPSTAIRS
    AUDIO QUALITY IS IN USE!
3.5 - if it doesn't work, go back to step 1, and then
jump all the elements of step 3.

    How the coupling device:
Step 1: Bluetooth open Places and start
looking for devices with the headset POWER off.
Call button of 2:Hold a step while turning
headset and continue to hold until the headset in pairing mode.
Step 3:Stare to the computer screen and wait it indicates upward.
Step 4:When, it turns out, pair and connect.

NOTE: You must make sure that your Bluetooth 'dongle' and its
driver / Protocol can do A2Dp (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile).

  • Problem with the adapter Bluetooth Logitech speakers on Windows 8

I use Windows 8 Pro, but I had the same problem on the consumer Preview (some things are different now though)

I use a Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop with a Dell Bluetooth 365 module.

When I first install the Adapter Bluetooth Logitech speaker it works fine (there is no driver for it but windows installs the driver of basic ad2p). The problem I have is that after the computer sleeps, stops, or restarts the unit is unplugged (as expected) and I can't reconnect (only to remove the device and install again).

In Windows 8 Preview of consumption when the device is plugged in, I could separate and connect it to the sound settings, but it would vanish from the sound after a sleep settings, reboot or shutdown.

I could easily connect or disconnect the device by double-clicking its icon in devices and printers in Windows 7. If I do the same thing in Windows 8, an error saying "BTWuiext has stopped working".

So basically after every sleep, closing or restarting I remove and reinstall the device...

I also tried troubleshooting of devices and printers, and I checked that Bluetooth Service is running.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

    Hi radufly,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Communities. From your problem description, I understand that, after every restart, sleep or a stop, you need to reinstall the drivers for your device. Please correct me if I misunderstood.

I understand how it could be frustrating when things do not work as expected. Please, I beg you, don't worry I'll try my best to resolve the issue.

radufly, it seems that the device is not compatible with the Windows 8 environment. I recommend you to contact Logitech support http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support/support-contactus and check with them if they came with drivers for Windows 8.

  • T460s: Problem with OS via SCCM deployment

Hi guys, I have just a few models of the new T460s and I added the driver package Windows 7 64 - bit to my task sequence with WMI query SCCM. I did no updates on my boot image.

The computer gets an IP address, I am able to do a network boot and enter the WinPE boot screen, boot image .wim file is loaded and I get to the SCCM window with message "windows is market + preparation of network connections" - but then it crashes on this window for 30 seconds before restarting the computer. I am not able to enter the window CMD with F8 or Fn + F8 to check if the network card works in WinPE.

We have come most of the previous ThinkPad models and each of them starts very well (including T450, T450s, L450). So I need to inject the driver of the CARD T460s to my bootimage? No idea why I am not able to enter the CMD window to check the IP?

  • Photon: Problem when pairing phone with SYNC via Bluetooth

I have associated my first phone Motorola Photon my F-150 with Microsoft SYNC without problems. It connects automatically and correctly uses the directory. Unfortunately, I can't associate my second phone. When entering the six digit pass code displayed by SYNC, the keyboard of the phone suddenly closes after I get back only from 2 to 5 digits. The phone displays a message that there was a problem with this phone for pairing. Some put the wrong phone or telephony hardware has a problem?

    N.

I found a trick somewhere on the Net and it helped. Simply continue scrolling after that you get the six digit code and you arrive at a menu that will display a code of alternative access - for me, it was four digits 0000. It worked like a charm.
