Xbox 360 does not leave my sansa view play as "portable".

I plug in my sansa view on my 360, it will say "connected", but it not is as "portable device" if I could play it through the system... I would appreciate help

You will need to put your content on the MSC view (put the player left hold/press release of scroll wheel/plug in device).

In addition, you will need to connect the view in the Xbox in the same way as it appears in MSC mode.

Enjoy.

Come on Sansa!

Recently, I tried to connect my Xbox 360 to my laptop PC running Windows XP SP3. All the official how - in fact seem as easy as going to WMP 11, then the 360 was on and connected to the network and will 'Media Sharing' and check the box, "share my media". However, while they were inspecting the area, nothing happens, no detail windows open upwards. All are two buttons, OK and CANCEL. I click OK, all gray outside for a while as the settings are applied, then it returns to the same window sharing media files, no new options, no new parameters. Like nothing happened.

    And indeed, nothing has changed.

    Gentlemen, what do I do?

    AGVKrioni,

Sorry to hear about your difficulties.  No fun!  If the Xbox 360 don't watch not appear inside WMP 11 as a shared device, then it is possible that WMP 11 does not see the Xbox.

    1. the xbox is completely up to date via xbox live?

    2. it can also be caused when the Xbox and computer are actually on 2 different networks (despite being connected in the same building).  Connect the computer or Xbox Wireless?  To check that they are in fact on the same network, obtain the IP address of your Xbox.
-Go to system settings network settings.  Note the IP address.
-Go to your computer.  See if you can test your XBOX (see on the network).  Open the prompt (start, run, "cmd").  Type "ping ipaddresshere ".  Do you have an answer?

    3. check that you have all the latest Windows updates (there may be other updates/patches for network management issues)

4 turn off your Windows Firewall

My Xbox 360 suddenly stopped recognizing the pictures and videos using Windows Media Center.  I have a number of files on my laptop that I like to stream through Media Center so I can watch them on my TV, but WMC no longer seem to acknowledge their existence.  I can play my entire library of music very well, but when I try to access my photos and my videos, it shows me my user folder and claims that there is nothing in it.  Not really sure where to start even on that.  My firewall is let through the WMC and my network is configured to share media.  Windows Vista by the way.

  • I can not configure my xbox 360 as an Extender, nor can I play music it in WMP 12.

I tried all the methods on the internet you can imagine, even those that I knew would never work, I tried anyway.

Here are some of the things I've tried:

    • delete the DRM folder
    • disable the firewall on my computer and my router
    • restart all services related to windows media player, streaming, extenders, etc.
    • It removing the xbox 360 of streaming options and let them settle
    • Hook the two up to the router with an ethernet cable (I use my wireless PC)
    • I even tried to download zune to see if maybe this method would work in other

It announced no results. I'm not a tech model, I was usually able to solve problems of this kind in the past. I went through the PC and the xbox and other parameters and identified which seems to be the issue. My PC sees the Xbox on network perfectly fine, even if sometimes he appears only in the option of "play to" in WMP. My Xbox, however, does not seem to recognize my PC on the network at all because I ran the PC connection on xbox test several times. This may seem like a firewall problem, but as I said earlier, I tried to disable both firewalls without result

My setup is as follows: my PC is connected wireless (pretty sure this isn't a Word, but it just happened) to my router. My Xbox is connected to my router (ethernet) and my router is connected to a cable modem. My router is a Belkin N150, my computer is a Toshiba Satellite, I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium (100% up-to-date) and a white Xbox 360 (not sure what model it is, or if she same material).

Please see what you can do with this problem, I tried to fix this for months, and I really wish I could listen to my music and videos on my xbox.

    Thanks in advance,
    James

I'm so happy I finally thought to it. Just for someone else who has this problem can get it fixed, suggest a routers firmware update. I update my belkins firmware and my xbox my pc immediately. : D

    Hello

    1. what operating system do you use?
    2. don't you make changes on the computer until the problem started?
    3. using a wired or wireless?

Follow the steps in the section below to check which version of the Windows operating system that you are using.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/help/which-version-of-the-Windows-operating-system-am-i-running

If you use a wired connection, then start the computer in Safe Mode with network and check if the connection is working.

  • Mail in Outlook Express 6 does not leave the box shipping and beneficiaries say they receive multiple copies of the same message.

    original title: Outlook Express 6.0

Recently, when I send an e-mail message by using Outlook Express 6.0 three things happen:

    (1) he does not leave the Outbox, unless I have to go in and manually remove it.

    (2) my report of recipients receiving multiple copies of the same message (for example, received the same email 6 times)

    (3) my sent folder is not updated with the emails I sent.

I'd appreciate any help that could be offered.

    Thank you!

    Glenside Guy

Your sent items folder is corrupted.  Move or copy messages from the folder that you want to keep.  Then close OE and delete the file sent items.dbx and outbox.dbx (hidden).  OE will then create new ones, and that should solve the problem.

Because your files has been corrupted, you might consider backup before they get completely corrupt and in addition, you could go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a base of new messages, not corrupted, and you then go to file | Import | Messages and import them from the old identity.

  • Computer does not recognize my Sansa e260

I run Windows 7 Home Premium. My MP3 player is a Sandisk Sansa e260.

Normally, to charge the Sansa, I've just plug it into a USB port on the computer. It is immediately recognized and loading begins.

Today, while I was out walking the dog, the Sansa ran out of juice. So when I got home I plugged the computer in the usual way. The computer does not know that it existed. It didn't start to load, it does not appear as a drive in Windows Explorer.

I rebooted the computer with the trendy Sansa. No improvement. I ran "Find the hardware changes" on the USB entry in Device Manager. No change.

I tried the Sansa in computer from Vista to my wife (who also accused there from time to time). Same result - the computer does not recognize the Sansa.

    Any ideas, please?

Try performing a reset before you plug it into your computer to charge. There may be just enough juice left for this. You can usually squeeze a few more drops of a flat (any type) battery by heating slightly he. Maybe put it in your Pocket next to your body under a sweater for a while, or take it to bed with you. Your body heat to warm up gently.

Now that old hat so to speak, press and hold the market/menu button while you count to 20. You can do it silently so the people around you do not think you have freaked out. OK, now, release the button and after a few seconds, press again to see if it boots up on its own. If so, place the cable of life support (Sansa) to quick before he dies again.

  • XBox 360 will not connect to the secure WRT54GS network.

Have you tried the suggestions we found in the forums for the connection manually and we continue getting a connection error. We rebooted the modem and the router as well, and the XBox 360 do not always connect. Any ideas how to make so that it can connect to our secure network without messing up the network that we have already had to reset and set again only a couple of weeks and don't want to go there again.

It turns out that the problem was with the Xbox360 not its wireless sensor and refusing to install the correct programming for it. Had well cleared.

  • Windows Media Center extender on my XBOX works initially, but not after reboot of my XBOX. Error: Failed to connect to the Xbox 360 could not connect to the windows Media Center computer.

It's VERY odd and very annoying!

I set up my laptop next to my Xbox 360 with an Ethernet cable directly connecting the laptop to the XBOX, and the laptop is on our wireless network. The XBOX has access to the internet (shared through the laptop), and when I test the PC connection and the connection XBOX Live sound fine to all.

So I'll try to set up Windows Media Center, it works great! I "Add Extender", put the code to 8 digits. It passes through the installation, all works, no problems and WMC opens on the XBOX, I can go into my library, watch movies etc... works great!

However! As soon as I turn my XBOX off and back on, it will fail to connect to the WMC.

He says his 'find Windows Media Center PC' which seems to work fine, it goes to the ' Windows Media Center loading screen "contact...". ", and after about 10 seconds, I get an error"failed to connect the Xbox 360 could not connect to windows Media Center PC. Make sure that the PC is turned on and connected to the network.

I tried to configure the Extender repeatedly, whenever it works fine until I restart the XBOX... :/ - and its strange cause I still the internet connection (shared through the laptop) after turning on the XBOX, its really JUST Media Center which is screwing around.

She continues to keep trying to connect then repeatedly fails.

If I wanted to, I could re-configuration the WMC Extender EVERY TIME turn off the Xbox, which works the first time without fault, but that's all just stupid.

I can't really understand what is happening here... any help would be appreciated.

    What I have
Xbox 360 Wireless Controller (with the cable that allows you to connect it to the photo that is wired)

    This my problem
I connected the Xbox 360 controller to my pc via the cable, it is detected in Device Manager as 'wireless controller xbox 360 Via play & charge kit.
In respect of game controller does not appear even when you click advance to selected the device it does not always show upward.
I tried to use it TI a game it does not at all.
The rings on the Xbox 360 controller lights when I plug the controller in my pc (even though Device Manager detects a problem with)
When I press the button the controller guide, it just keeps blinking as if it must be syc (but it connect through a wire that shouldn't happen)

I tired using different drivers the same problems, I was installed the drivers off Windows 7 support site exactly the same problem...

I also tried unplugging all the USB devices on my computer and plug the controller Xbox 360 on USB port which are directly mounted on the mother exactly the same problem.

    Up to now NO solution.
Please help me because I think I got tired of everything I can

Unfortunately, this won't work.  The Play and Charge kit connects only up to the actual battery.  Still, the controller connects more wireless.

You would need a wired Xbox 360 controller or Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming receiver that connects to your wireless controller existing.
