  I have an old imac with Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I downloaded Xcode 3.2.6 but installation fails in the end. Y at - it another version, should I get?

  Deselect all options except "Developer Tools" in the categories section on the left side of the page. Each version of Xcode, back to version 1.0 in 2003 is available.

• Migration to the new leading directory of Xcode 7.3.1 PCH errors

  I moved my folder under/User to an another new update short user name folder.

  Just fine, except when I ran Xcode 7.3.1 only he had the build errors referring to the former name of folder.  Locations is set correctly using the new name of the folder, but called the PCH cannot build because it uses the old directory.  How to update or do I just reinstall Xcode?  I have maintained the option down and rebuilt the cache but it fails to Run.  Xcode locked requiring a Force Quit

  delete the folder DerivedData under Xcode Developer Library

  Simulator then had an error that is causing to Xcode crashing.  OK, the error message can go to the menu of Simulator for Reset blah blah blah...

  And now Xcode is fixed and build projects.

• Xcode Server installation failed (ssl configuration infrastructure)

  After the upgrade to Server 5.2 today, I am unable to start the service of Xcode as a result of a mistake.

  The first time, I tried to implement the service, after having chosen the Xcode application, I was asked to create a service user account Xcode. So, I followed the guests to create a Xcode Server user account.

  Then I saw a message that Xcode Helper should be allowed to make UI script, to which I agreed.

  Finally, a progress bar appears where, apparently, that was under the service of Xcode configuration.

  And then an error stating:

  Xcode Server installation failed (ssl configuration infrastructure)

  Try clicking on choose Xcode and selecting a new version of Xcode or upgrade to a newer version of the server.

  Given that I had just installed the latest version of Xcode previously, I advanced and checked that Xcode launches without problem, and no message appears.

  Then I went to System Preferences > Security & privacy > accessibility and verified that an entry is added for Xcode Helper, and I checked the box next to it to allow access.

  Also, I have advanced and connected to the server of Xcode user account and used the fast user switching option to return to my main account.

  Unfortunately, trying to start again service results in the same error. I even tried to start the service when you are logged on the server of Xcode user account. Whenever it has failed with the same message.

  Whenever I try to start the service, I see this (or very similar) message sequence struck the system log:

  The last time I checked (a few years ago), built-in templates to Xcode edition was difficult. Extraordinarily difficult. It was so difficult at the moment where you have figured out and had the models just as you wish, Apple would have released a new version of Xcode that invert all your work. No, I am not exaggerating in the slightest bit here.

  If you want your own templates, just save extracts in Xcode or elsewhere or use one of the many tools to achieve this.

  And it's really a moot point anyway, because you really shouldn't be adding "#include < string.h >" code C++.

  I just published two animated story and books to interactive games for children to the store iBooks using iBooks author with tumult Hype and IAD producer.  I want to develop for an android device.  Is it possible to do with xcode?  I did a lot of research and there are so many different tools to use for the android that I don't know where to start.  I thought since I've been xcode I could use it.  Can anyone help with this issue?

• Impossible to install Xcode 8 Beta?

  Whenever I try to install (expand) the beta 8 of Xcode (once the .xip file has finished downloading), I am prompted with this error:

  I tried:

  1. Re-extract the file.
  2. Re-download the file, and then re-extraction.
  3. "Fix" the file.

  None of it worked, and I've not found anything to solve this problem (yet). Help would be very appreciated.

• default page is not showing up with wiki and Xcode services on

  I have the site, wiki and the Xcode services turned on in my set - up OS X server.

  I want to display the default page (which has links with other services) by default not pages Xcode or wiki.

  I saw there is an order of priority article, but substitution was to change the order of file I tried to change the order of the index files, but it always happens with /xcode every time if Xcode is activated and the wiki when this service is enabled.

  This allows the default page to display.

  It used to be that if xocde and wiki have been activated as Xcode are also in the wiki menu.
