Xoom Te charger

Does anyone know how / where to get additional xoom Te charger? Can't seem to find one on any site of motorcycle or BestBuy.

The charger for the Xoom2/XyBoard is fully compatible with the XoomFE. You will also find the HP TouchPad USB charger works perfectly. I have one of these myself. It loads my XoomFE in 5 hours and includes taken international leaders.

  • How do you decide when off Xoom vs let it sleep?

I spend much of the time away from all access to power, then I want to be as effective

as possible. How do you decide when it is best to stop vs completely let Hibernate Xoom? It seems to me that it hibernaes very effectively but it need a break point again somewhere.

    Thank you

    @HollyR,

I have to hand it to you, I love camping and back to nature from time to time, but 2-3 weeks in the Woods without electricity or running water, Great Scott! Under these types of conditions extended, I load it into my car (Delorean) every day and still allow it to 'sleep' rather than turn it off. Now, if your romantic bungalow in the Woods can't get a 3G signal (and if you have a 3 G Xoom - I can't say your info), then I would turn off WiFi and 3G while cabin and you will need to only load once a week. My car charger recharges my Xoom in a few hours and I have a 12V Jack ' always on ', so that the Xoom can charge with the car off the coast (without breaking measurable on the car battery or other).

For your time spent at home with electricity, I definitely always leave on standby and recycle power only about once every two weeks (unless you have problems).

Yes, the flux capacitor is very cool, but you have to manage the time travel with some discretion.

  • Is there a cell phone of the Xoom charger?

I searched the forum and checked the Internet in search of a cell phone charger that works with the Xoom. Just to clarify, I mean an external battery to charge when an outlet is not available. Will be traveling and want to make sure that the Xoom will be powered for the duration of the flight I saw different opinions, but nothing solid. Any info is greatly appreciated.

  • Xoom does not illuminate

Woke up this morning and hit the power button the xoom to wake up and have nothing, just a black screen. Have you tried the power button with volume up several times (and way longer than 3 seconds) and don't always get any sign of life.

Last night before I put it to sleep, I went through the net via wifi. GPS is also enabled, left battery was good (about 90%) I plugged the charger this morning, perhaps thinking that the battery went flat, charge indicator came white, now it's Green, but still no sign of life.

Xoom 3g, not rooted, stock firmware.

    Help

I now have a replacement Xoom. The original has been confirmed as defective (they didn't say what it was)

  • Micro for Xoom card

What card will support the Xoom? The microSDHC or microSD card?

    Hello dale1942

The official support of Micro SD (Standard capacity) is 2 GB, some of them up to 4 GB

So the Micro SDHC (high capacity) support between 4 GB to 32 GB

So the XOOM supports up to 32 GB of SD card, then is SDHC who take in charge the XOOM

  • Lost charger Lapdock

Anyone know if I can, and where I can buy the charger for the Lapdock?

Mine was lost during my trip wknd - hope, I don't have to buy the whole dock again

Thanks in advance 4 your help

Lapdock and Xoom Speaker dock uses the same power supply.

The Atrix HD dock and the Xoom device have a common (even if different than the lapdock/Speaker dock) power supply/charger.

Have contacted us blaquevenus and help with how to get a replacement charger.

  • Xoom docking mode

When ICS is out my Xoom (wi - fi) would go into a docking station mode when I placed it on the dock. Now with JB is no longer doing this. I can't find a setting to change this. Anyone has any ideas.

I don't often, notice only needs charged once a week or more, but it's always nice to have.

I got actually to work last night. I had to switch to developer mode. Then I had to stop the default value of the clock, then put it in the dock. Once I chose the clock all right

    Thank you

  • 0% 8 hours charge battery

I left my phone say exposed completely and turn off .the charger screen is launched, but is 0% for 8 hours, if you have expirenced this, any advice would be helpful, not in warranty, I bought the phone used.

Never a good idea to let the phone completely discharge. I saw it all simply too many times.

I saw a couple say to use a charger of the size of that of a Motorola Xoom. A charger designed for a tablet. That will give him a shake to go. Load with a charger more grand for an hour or two and it will, hopefully, turn back on. Good luck.

Just because you bought the used phone does not mean that it is not a guarantee. You might call Motorola and know for sure. It could also save the phone here in the forums in your profile, and it will tell you, based on the IMEI number, if there is a warranty or not. I hope this helps.

  • Help! You can load Xoom to entry USB port

... Left me dumb charger plugged at the airport at the beginning of travel int ' l. is possible to load a Xoom using the USB port on a laptop?

Could not find an answer in the Forum, but was in Support FAQ. I'm sorry.

USB port for transfer of only, should not be used to charge.

  • Xoom brick

It seems that my 3 G Xoom has bricked itself just for no apparent reason. I've loaded all last night, didn't really use it today, but just earlier I started to look for something. No love when I press the button. Nothing. Nada. Held this button for a minute, nothing. Plugged in the charger for another 30 minutes or more, still nothing. I'm rather at a loss because I dropped $ 800 on this thing (without a plan from verizon) in March and it has worked perfectly for me until today, is all that prevents me to throw on the wall.

No, I have not rooted to it. He rooted, never did something with her outside the acceptable use of Motorola. I noticed it was a little slow to respond when I pressed the button to wake up last night. Also, I had used on a plane ride yesterday until he was about 20% of the battery left.

Anyone running in this situation? Is it possible that my charger is looted and is not really in charge there? Before you start to go through the painful experience of warranty, I thought after what happened and see if anyone had a solution that does not involve to annihilate me somehow to factory default. I grew up to load using this thing to entertain me on my travels by plane almost weekly. It sets my teeth on edge just thinking I might have to be without it for awhile.

After looking a little on the forum, I found the answer I needed. Hard reset now the volume up button and power at the same time button. It's backwards! I was so happy, I had to respond immediately to my own post. Still weird if. I guess next time I should RTFM. I want to thank all the people who thought this possibility before me if.

  • Overloading the XOOM on a dock?

I would buy the XOOM speaker dock and play music from my XOOM daily... I am worried about him connecting (and charging) too much and I could SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the battery life supported my XOOM too.

Is this something I should be concerned?

No, batteries used today have built a circuit that tells it to not overload. What will happen is it will fully charge and then allow him to fulfil a few percent, then charge current upward. Life cycles of lithium batteries are usually around hundreds of cycles that is applied to 100% of the cycle. So if you were to drain 50% twice and charges to 100% both times, that would be equal to the 1 charge cycle. With which, in theory, the burden of compensation would continue for 6 000 to 10 000 times.

  • OEM car charger do not push

Has anyone else noticed that their motorcycle OEM car charger does not grow at the bottom of the xoom? Until mine grows in the judgments of the metal rod, but this leaves approximately 3/16 inch of the exposed post. It scares me that he break into the unit. My wall charger push until the plastic base touches the xoom. I get a bad one car? I'll post a picture when I get home.

Mine did the same thing... but if my ac wall charger, so I assumed it was in the design.  Maybe its your wall charger which is the exception, not the other way around.
